This is actually the op site, can't realize if its real miner or something fake
This is one of the more clever scams I've seen.
Here's how I suspect it went down:
1. Max (who pushed QRK -- you guys saw how that turned out, right?) paid some guy to build a Keccak GPU miner implementation (it's not hard, source code is available freely [1])
2. He then uses his fame + name to peddle a new coin using the Keccak algorithm, which no other coin uses
3. Sheep go baaaaah. Much profit.

People are greedy and tend to irrationality in this state of mind...
This thread's obvious scam and the following threads using the same model are insane on their own, but the truly insane are those who throw their BTC at this. No offense here, just my point of view.

People are trying to rush money instead of helping the crypto-community by founding real projects...not scams like this one. There are lots of true coders that can help this community, they need money but they don't beg nor ask for them..and they work so hard to follow the dream of fighting the banks empire.
I'm maybe a dreamer, but if i only had 1/10 of that scam money i would have done something really great to promote this world and i'm doing it right now..with a small 0.25BTC, helping translating new coins site and so on.
Really, if anyone here is smart enough, just stop sending money to these scammers
