Is the class dead because I added my orders to that? Who's got the details for lawyers working on the case?

It has not been certified as a class action yet. You can find all the relevant details at the docket:

http://ia600704.us.archive.org/31/items/gov.uscourts.paed.489513/gov.uscourts.paed.489513.docket.html

I know someone who's invested to tip it over 1M mark with signed contract, sharing with Craig...

i have waited a long time for that information and have never received it from your friend. he is looking out for his interests and his interests only. he could care less about the rest of us.

I'll see if I can get him to forward it...

News flash: If you haven't filed a lawsuit, you aren't getting anything.

Define "shortly"?

Dear AMT fans and foes,

We will lay out our 3 month compensation and business plan shortly.

+1 I'd like to know this too.

Now the $899 miner that I was sent by AMT is blowing the breaker. No it's worth $0, please refund our money AMT_miners.

Not to appear to be defending anyone just my observation, it should work on 15amps according to specs, you may want to check if your sharing the load with something else or it's rated any lower, but it definitely fine on 20amp circuit, I've been running for month+ and its been just fine.

Dear AMT fans and foes,

We realize that some of our clients who have received their machines are feeling a bit hostile. We want to assure everyone that we are putting together a compensation program that will go live on December 15th, 2014 or sooner. We'll do our best to compensate clients their full loss.  Some clients have already been refunded, and we're doing the best we can every week.

Regarding the class action, we are in discovery processes. This is where plaintiffs counsel reviews all of our information, write a response and gives it to the judge to review.

Regarding FBI claims, FTC claims and the PA Attorney General, we have been in contact with all of them and we are going to work with them very closely now. And we're excited about that.

Regarding these skype chats that they are throwing around this forum, we'll still stand to say they are complete bullshit manifested by Tony Serrata (aka Opieum2). And honestly, we couldn't give a crap about them.

WHY does Tony Serrata keep posting negative things about us on a daily basis?  Because he thinks we sell more than him. He's afraid of us.

And regarding our sales, as we've said it before we're not selling although we would like to. And the truth is we haven't sold since April 7th, 2014.

Why are we so being open, because even though we're trying to do the right thing the to the customers that want us to make them whole, are the same ones stopping up from bringing in new revenue in order to do that.

We will lay out our 3 month compensation and business plan shortly.

Josh,
Please can you tell me when you will lay out this compensation plan? A date would be good. It will include equipment, mining protection, delay losses, etc right?

What are the details if any for converting the rest of my miners into cloud option? Maybe add MPP to that? Are you considering this?

Your better off using the original image that comes with the miner, the one posted up looks like its actually a earlier revision the UI is more basic or unfinished?!?

Thanks NaranKPatel but this IS the image that came with the miner :-(

The webpage UI is really minimal - would that mean that it's the original image?  I wonder if I got someone else's machine after they updated and returned it.

AMT should provide the right image, it's risky for me to try to extract and provide it - you could blame me for giving you a bad image or problems down the line.

I tried the updated image that was posted on dropbox on another usb flash card and I got the same problem you're seeing, going back to using original image, I didn't experience this issue, so just passing on my personal experience.

The new image doesn't work for me same issue as mentioned no A1 cards error in cgminer with verbose ?

On the original image, plugging in a HDMI cable helped me track down the ip address setup by default, it displays it at the end of the boot sequence...just enter in a browser and you'll hit the web home page, check on the setup to change your network and pool settings.

The next problem is I entered my pool details and account, it was displaying stats on the home page, but my pool wasn't showing any results registered against my account? It felt like it was ignoring my settings and mining against the default pool it came with...:-(

Will double check my settings again maybe try another pool and see if there's any difference, having command line login access would be good with this "working" original image, as right now I can't tell what cgminer is actually doing...

Why not just use the user interface.  We're in the process of creating a help tutorial, something we should have already done.

I was using the web UI, will check setup again, would be easier if I could check logs read-only etc.

UPDATE: It's working fine now, I needed to make some config changes, pools didn't like worker results from different ip addresses.

UPDATE2: At module freq. 1000 discards are at 10-15%, that's quite high ... going to turn down a little to 950 see if efficiency improves and discards go down.

UPDATE3: Running at 1.28TH steady on web console and 1.10Th at GHash.io, makes sense with the discards.

UPDATE4: I really can't see much difference in turning down the frequency across the modules to no. of discards the A1 modules generates, it appears they're a little error prone. Interested if anyone has any other experiences?

UPDATE5: Temperatures going between 40-48, some of the modules aren't cooling that efficiently the ones on the left appear to be running a little hotter, they are slightly more packed in, there maybe some room for improvement, but overall seems quite good, a little on the warm side to the touch though

UPDATE6: Tried running at 700 freq. didn't make much difference to the discard rate, tried 1050 appeared to net the same discards results in terms of overall percentage but the acceptance rate by pool dropped off quite a bit, if you've got the power and good cooling leave it on 1000...all this time I didn't get any rejects which is a good sign

I got it to work!!!
I reverted back to to original image (not the one from dropbox but the one that came with it, which i have no root access to)
And i changed ip,subnet,gw and dns to be opendns 208.67.222.222. Setup pool, and it works!!!

So the latest image is a bad? ok good to know, I wonder if did some QA on the "newer" image?

Download this image, write to an SD card using win32 disk imager, and replace the existing one in the PI. See if that helps.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/uru13qfsoh4u07b/amt_a1_0820v01.img.bz2

default IP address is 192.168.1.100

A 44 MB image. That's not a complete image.

From the looks of the files its for the configs. So not a full image dump. If I get my miners today I can make a full image default for use and review.

Opieum2, good luck! Let me know how it goes, how to setup and final results would be great thanks!

Just to clarify in case there is confusion I am not AMT support. I am just a community member helping out other people who are in the same boat here. I have quite a bit of linux expertise and I do believe in the open source cause hence my sharing knowledge. AMT should at least post up some basic settings up for the customers to get up and running (like the default IP/ SSH and web logins to the machine in the OP). That is a general rule with any product release. Oh and source code or reference to source code if they made customization. That is both the legal thing and customary thing to do with FOSS software.

Thank you from at least one member of the community for helping us out :-)

I have mine finally, how do you login to setup address etc? Unfortunately, no instructions or details supplied. Website needs a login too? Can someone from AMT drop me a note?

The thing is I ordered it 6 months ago from AMT, and I got this just today. I was supposed to get an AMT miner and not a miner from another company. P.S. They are listed as an Authorized Distributor on http://bitmine.ch/authorized-distributors/ , maybe they just decided to start shipping these instead.

Yes

Gintas, ordered an AMT time, AMT miners and Bitmine miners are pretty much the same accept for the exterior and some other things. Gintas can close that miner up to a 1200 if he gets a larger a supply for sure. Also Gintas ordered a 520ghs and was upgraded %100.  Gintas was patient, understanding, always polite and generally nice about he whole delay thing.

We could have lost another week and shipped the Antec cases over but we figured at this point it didnt matter much anyway because most people want a miner. These got held up in BG customs anyway for two weeks so it didnt matter also.

Furthermore, all backlogged European ordered miners have been delivered.

Ah, very good of you keeping your promise of the MPP. I'm sure he was delighted to receive a system that far more powerful than his order.

And good to hear about the clearing out of the backlog of european orders. I know you were trying to keep the american portion of the business as American made as possible, but glad that when push comes to shove you're doing what's right. I look forward to seeing more people popping ( I nearly put pooping, that would have been wrong) on to show us their delivered orders.

Thanks for the supportive post curt. Just a heads up we dont know if we'll be able to provide such an extensive upgrade on American orders due to the shier amount of them. But we will try and do our best to do so. There is only so much money we actually took in aside from what we invested in the company ourselves. All of it, plus a new line of credit will go to filling everyone's remaining orders.

We have moved manufacturing operations to china some time ago, and units should be done very shortly. We'll be shipping direct from there to clients to make things easier/faster. Some batches are currently done, they are just waiting on an AMT staff member to get over and to test each unit individually prior to shipping. DHL offers two days shipping, so we dont want to loose more time on shipping in and then reshipping.

This is looking up ... will call you shortly to find out when my 8 and 6 month orders ship...
Regards,
Naran
