I logged in to see my hashrate at 0 and cgminer was getting authentication errors. I deleted my workers and re-created them and now things are working for me.

I've had this system running for several days now and it seems to be pretty stable

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, AMD driver version 2.8

cgminer from https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/commit/d5981f83804492a70a4aa309f8f83a200f88f478
compiled with CFLAGS="-O2 -Wall -mtune=native -march=native"

EDIT: Wouldn't you know it? As soon as I hit submit on this post cgminer went defunct and I needed to do a hard reboot.

...I'm scared from all the injection possibilities that languages like PHP and Javascript offer.

Injection vulnerabilities are a result of implementation errors, rather than a fault with a particular language.

Anyhow, it sounds like you want to build something, but aren't willing to take the time to learn any of the skills required to do so.

I agree with minzie; quite a predicament.

There is actually a Library folder within your user folder, but it's hidden from view in Finder. If you open up the terminal app, you can type:
Code:
chflags nohidden Library
and your /User//Library folder is now visible in Finder.

Edit: Clarify folder location

I would think that these delays are keeping the difficulty low. As soon as they start shipping, people will start plugging them in, the difficulty will go up and the bar will be raised even higher.

Only the people who get them early will benefit greatly from the high hash rate. Everyone else will just be keeping up with the pace.

Hey all,

I'm new around here. Just recently got into Bitcoin mining - looking to set up an FPGA and have some fun with it.
