Do you think mangyayari rin ito dito sa Pilipinas?

https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/indonesias-president-cancels-china-trip-protests-continue-2025-08-30/

not a good trend IMO.

Most Bitcoin Still Belongs to Individuals, but Institutions Are Catching Up: Research

Quote
What to know:
River’s research estimates that as of Aug. 25, 2025, individuals hold about 65.9% of BTC (13.83 million coins).
Funds and ETFs control about 7.8% of supply; businesses hold 6.2% and governments control 1.5%.
River says the distribution is inferred from filings, address tagging and prior research. In other words, it is an estimate, not an on-chain census.

What do you guys think would happen if the majority of the supply is held by institutions? Wouldn’t that slow down the adoption process since most of them are just into holding long-term?

And does that also mean the market ends up being more manipulated by them, since they control such a big chunk of the supply?

Don’t stop playing, you’ll eventually win… but my answer here is math. You’re just overthinking because you lost. If you were on a winning streak, you wouldn’t even care about asking the math behind it, you’d probably think you can beat the system.

It’s normal to start questioning things when you lose, but that’s fine.

In time you’ll understand how it really works.

The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) has extended indefinitely its moratorium on granting new licenses for virtual asset service providers (VASPs), citing heightened risks tied to the rapidly evolving digital asset market.

In a statement, the BSP said the Monetary Board approved the move “to protect consumers and uphold the stability and integrity of the financial system.”

What’s Your Profit Goal in Sports Betting – 100% Daily or 10% Daily?

If you had the chance to choose your own journey to be profitable in sports betting, which path would feel easier and more satisfying for you?

Let’s say you already have a decent bankroll, around $5000. Now, assuming you can raise that amount or you consider yourself already a “pro” gambler, would you…

1- Aim aggressively for 100% profit per day (double up fast but with higher risk)?
2- Or take the more conservative route and target just 10% profit per day, slow grind but safer?

What would be your goal profit in this case? Do you think consistency matters more, or is going big worth the risk when the opportunity is there?
Curious how the community here would approach it.

despite bitcoin going down, this research team is still bullish.

Bitcoin Headed to $190K on Institutional Wave, Research Firm Says

Quote
Tiger’s model pegs a “base price” of $135,000, then layers on multipliers for fundamentals (+3.5%) and macro conditions (+35%) to reach the $190,000 forecast.

What to know:
Tiger Research predicts bitcoin could reach $190,000 by Q3, driven by global liquidity, ETF demand, and new 401(k) access.
The report highlights a potential $90 billion demand from 401(k) allocations and significant institutional accumulation.
Despite bullish forecasts, on-chain indicators suggest caution, with metrics showing a market that is active but not overheated.

Wish ko na lang talaga for the next National Election eh tumakbo si Mangalong or Vico Sotto for the 2 highest position like President and Vice yung dalawa since both believed in good governance so baka sakali malinis nila yung mga buwaya sa kongreso at iba pang sektor.

Ph debt to breach P19 trillion in 2026

THE NATIONAL Government’s (NG) outstanding debt is projected to balloon to a record P19.06 trillion by the end of 2026, a Department of Budget and Management (DBM) document showed on Wednesday.

Quote
This as the government is planning to borrow P2.68 trillion next year to fund the national budget.

The 2026 Budget of Expenditures and Sources of Financing showed the NG’s debt stock is expected to increase by 9.78% from the revised P17.36-trillion estimate for end-2025.

Of the total, domestic debt is expected to rise by 10.27% to P13.28 trillion by end-2026 from the projected P12.04 trillion by end-2025.

Outstanding external debt is also seen to jump by 8.67% to P5.78 trillion by end-2026 from P5.31 trillion by end-2025.

Finance Secretary Ralph G. Recto told BusinessWorld the NG debt is still manageable, noting the economy will be roughly worth P31.8 trillion by 2026.

As of June, the Philippines’ sovereign debt hit a fresh high of P17.27 trillion, up 11.5% from P15.48 trillion in the same month in 2024.

This is possible since “free” is not always really free, they have to be getting something in return.

But I’m curious though, if free VPNs are spying, how about the premium ones? I’m sure they’re also capable of spying.
Don’t we consider them risky as well?

Re: Mindset of getting rich through gambling
by
Natalim
on 15/08/2025, 20:19:35 UTC
Sounds unreal but there are people who are really persistent with gambling hoping that they might make profit from it one day...From my experience I discovered that the more you keep chasing losses the more difficult it would be to catch... just because people are winning doesn't mean that it's possible for everyone to win, it's important to take a break when you figure out it's not for you
When a gambler becomes overly optimistic about winning at gambling, a bad situation begins for him. I have seen many gamblers who initially won big but became overconfident and increased their gambling and developed a mindset that they would win every time, which took those gamblers from bad to worse. Therefore, taking a break from gambling will refresh a gambler mentally, and help them develop a better position in gambling later. Sometimes, staying calm is considered more effective than being aggressive.
Many of us believe that if we are positive, luck comes to us. But I don't think it's going to happen in gambling. Yes, because if that were true, all gamblers would be rich already. Unfortunately, what we have seen is more of addiction and losses for gamblers who pressured their minds into believing it.

I agree, taking time to relax could ease their mind thinking about winning. This could make them realize that gambling is not the solution to any financial problem. We can gamble since we are free to do that, but there should be some limitations.

When it comes to controlling addiction, I support this move by the government. Although we can't say for now how effective it was, I hope this will also help to control addiction. Honestly, the convenience of depositing and withdrawing gives people easy access to the site. Getting back to the old setup and stricter gambling compliance makes ordinary people stop online gambling. This may not completely eliminate illegal online gambling, but I'm certain this will have a positive impact on controlling addiction. We may be sad about it, but if this would help minimize addiction, why not?

Re: Transform your losing trading strategy into a profitable one
by
Natalim
on 15/08/2025, 16:34:06 UTC
Trading strategy can only be in two options, it’s either good or winning strategy, or a bad strategy that will make you lose your trades. If it’s good, then stick with it. But if it’s bad, then take time to improve it. However, it’s not all the time that you can turn your negative strategy into a positive one, that’s the reality. There are strategies that aren’t perfect on your trading style, no matter how hard you try.

Just accept the fact that some strategies aren’t suitable in trading, and they will be forever bad strategies that will never be useful in your trades. That’s the reason why there is a trial and error method, so you can test which strategy is more suitable and profitable, and which one doesn’t deserve our valuable time.
