on 20/12/2021, 05:55:09 UTC
Hello to all my brothers and sisters who are supporters of cryptocurrency, financial and digital freedom.  I'm going to write a song to defend the values of bitcoin and altscoins.  Given that the BTC is a community currency, I told myself to get your opinions and your visions on this world and put it into song.  In order to create a song that does not represent my thoughts but that of our community.  So to your keyboards my friends!  I count on you !  Its will be our next hits!  Grin Grin
There are so many talents in the cryptocurrency market, this idea is really great!

Re: NO..India is NOT Banning Bitcoin
by
NathanielParker
on 13/12/2021, 06:52:51 UTC
The FUD continues.

India is not banning bitcoin as an asset class as many have eluded to. Many news outlets find that this angle is far better for attracting clicks.

India is looking to ban bitcoin as a method of payment. Meaning they are just trying to protect the interests of their future CBDC. People in India will NOT be banned from buying or selling bitcoin. The government has NO interest in banning bitcoin as an asset.

Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value?

Everyone has a different understanding of value, but these things are values assigned by people. In my initial opinion, Bitcoin was just a bubble, but now Bitcoin has become the first choice for investment and has been adopted by many countries.

Re: Would you lend your cryptocurrencies?

on 11/12/2021, 02:23:15 UTC
Hi guys, as many of you as I also would like to "do" something with my crypto funds that I held in my crypto wallet. For a few months, I still think if crypto loans really work and there is a very very low risk of losing my funds. I would like to borrow lend my cryptocurrencies with an interest. Blockfi offers up to 8.5% interest p.a. and there are more competitors, but would you 100% trust them? Earning few percent per year vs. losing the big amount of cryptocurrencies fund?
I don’t like this way of taking a loan. I don’t know how to take a loan. It’s too risky and not worth it.

Re: COVID advanced the world into the future

I agree that working from home is ineffective for me. It's like a government employee working from home, but imagine how they do their work at home. That is extremely difficult, and transactions are being held up. I am a government employee as well as a freelancer, and speaking on behalf of government employees, it is somewhat ineffective in terms of work, but it is extremely effective in terms of prevention. However, my main concern is that they are being paid for doing nothing at home. As a freelancer, we are very familiar with this, so it is nothing new to us.

Being an IT engineer, I am working from home for more than one and half years now, and I would say that this is the best thing that has ever happened since I started working. But as you pointed out, certain sections of employees (especially those employed by the government) become arrogant when they work from home. Here in India, even before the pandemic the government employees were behaving as if they are gods. And now since they don't have to go to the office, they have become even more boorish.
I don't like the feeling of working from home. This is very inconsistent with my character. This makes me feel very depressed at home all day. It may not only be at home. Perhaps the severity of the epidemic makes me feel very confused in the future. The new cases added every day make me feel very annoying, and my work efficiency is greatly reduced.

Re: What’s consensus?
by
NathanielParker
on 13/09/2021, 06:31:15 UTC
It is unreasonable but it is effective and for how long it has been in our civilization, I think that we will have a hard time uprooting this system because it's coupled already with the global economy and global supply chain and what happens when we take away a keystone to those things, it will eventually collapse, it's a parasite that we can't remove.
Not exactly effective. Most of our world chases money, and neglects more important factors. I like the saying that we work to live, and not live to work. However, the reality is most people live to get money, and then they don't even enjoy it when they get it, because by the time they've amounted any sort of substantial earnings, they are on their death bed.

The system is designed to keep the poor, well poor, and contributing to the wealthy companies that pretty much rule the world. So, no the current money system makes no sense, yet people contribute to its survival every day.

Unless by effective you mean keeping those that control things rich, then yeah its pretty effective at that. However, what is clear is there are far more people unhappy with the current implementation of our concept of money, than there is supporters of it.
From the birth of Bitcoin to the present, the impact it has brought to us is extremely significant, especially the contribution of the entire system to the world.
Consensus is of course not a new concept. Consensus already exists in human group life. This is very common in our daily lives and it is also a very precious thing. There is a sense of unity in the group, so that the consensus reached by members is Equally valuable.
Consensus was originally a concept of social operations, but now it is an important part of computer science for us.
In the distributed ledger, the consensus mechanism is that most members agree on the value of the proposed transaction and update the ledger.

Re: When will its price start being stabilized?
by
NathanielParker
on 06/09/2021, 06:39:55 UTC
The price of Bitcoin is generated based on people's consensus. People will buy or sell because of some favorable or unfavorable news. No one can control these news, so we have no way to know in detail in the future.
As long as someone is willing to believe that Bitcoin supports Bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin will always be volatile, and it is difficult for people to predict how much higher the value can reach.

When El Salvador chose to accept Bitcoin as its legal currency, I thought that other countries would follow suit. Even in the fully developed world, it is a very esoteric subject, but for Afghanistan, I think it will not work.

Re: Next US president pro-bitcoin?

The United States has always been in support of Bitcoin, but I don't think they will agree to let another currency replace their own currency. No one wants to harm their own interests. It is very unreasonable to let Bitcoin replace the U.S. dollar as legal tender. This is not a popular move, and most people should not vote for him.

It can't be so absolute. Before, no one knew that Bitcoin would become what it is now. Then there may be coins that are more attractive or adopted than Bitcoin in the future. No one can predict what will happen in the future. Bitcoin is now developing in the world. I certainly hope that Bitcoin will get better and better, but it does not mean that no new technology will be born in the future.

Bitcoin is different from legal currency. Legal currency is usually stable, but it is easily affected by the instability of the financial system. Although Bitcoin is unstable, Bitcoin itself is determined for system stability, not for price stability. Relatively speaking, Bitcoin It’s a safety priority, almost the safest jisuanjixitong ever.

Now as time goes by, more and more companies and fields accept Bitcoin and Bitcoin as payment methods and use Bitcoin to pay employees' salaries. I am very happy to see that these institutions can choose Bitcoin. I hope that more and more companies and institutions will recognize Bitcoin in the future, so that Bitcoin can be widely used worldwide.

Waiting is a need to experience. Now that you have entered the market, don’t worry anymore. This will only affect your emotions and will not play any other role. Bitcoin is your long-term goal. The market is like this. You will see surprises.

Indeed, obsession is the most appropriate description, which shows that you are very attached to Bitcoin. I think you may invest a sum of money in Bitcoin that is not small for you, or you have high expectations for Bitcoin. You have high expectations for Bitcoin, but your behavior like this may be counterproductive, and being addicted to it will make some of your behaviors emotionally manipulated.

This is a normal situation. When people hear negative news about Bitcoin, they will choose to sell. They are newbies to cryptocurrency and they are afraid of failure. This is also the reason why most newcomers fail to invest. This will also be the experience accumulated for their future investment, and the wasted opportunity can only be missed. The potential of Bitcoin in the future is still worth long-term investment.

Re: My first bitcoin shopping
by

on 25/08/2021, 07:05:31 UTC
Such an experience is unforgettable. I have never used Bitcoin to buy anything since I was exposed to the field of encryption. There is no way to avoid revealing the address and contact information when shopping online, but I think this is reasonable and acceptable. This is the case in the Internet age, but a month is a bit long, but I think it is worth it. Bitcoin is now accepted in more and more fields, allowing crypto enthusiasts to pay online and offline. This experience should make you like Bitcoin more.
