If you don't want to pay DevFee use some other miner. Don't cheat. Just image how you would feel if someone not pay you for your work.

I knew some of you would object to that kind of post which is why I kept it vague and technical.

For the rest of you, how about you all not 'cheat' and stop using/accumulating cryptocurrency, embrace receiving fiat for your labor, pay your taxes for the government's work?  See, we could have entire arguments about morality and money which I don't care for.

It is interesting to view the logic of the morally corrupt and how they try to twist things to suit their agenda.  Are you really trying to justify theft from the developer in this way?  Parasite.

Hi,
please submit the updated new hashrates to gpustats.com

How much are you paying for the stats?  I’m not submitting anything unless I get paid for it.

Claymore couldnt be bothered since he makes too much money already of us miners. he still hasnt fixed his issues with 12 card miner. apparently he doesnt have enough money to invest in a 12 card board. shame

Why don’t you write a superior miner then?

Clymore : you are working a lot for AMD owners.
No problems, but I'm an nVidia owner (because expansive electricity in France).
Are you planing some update for us, for example with this dual-miner ?
Thanks ;-)

I have a gtx 970 mining on claymore’s 9.8 in ubuntu 14.04.  Uptime/runtime is somehwere north of two months.  Hashrate still is good, but I’m wondering should I occasionally restart the miner or let it keep running until it crashes or the power goes out?

Both of my air cooled Vega FE’s are pulling 41Mh/s right now.

At what power consumption?

<511w at the wall, total system draw.  Somewhere under that now, running different settings but have not measured it again.

i need help for mining with nvidia 1060 VGA.
I come from Indonesia

What do you need?
I need someone who can teach me or guide me to start mining. because I just started

While I’m not trying to be rude, if you’re smart enough to sign up for a forum and use google to search, there are countless resources from written examples to youtube videos showing how to get started.  If you need your hand held just to make a wallet and start mining, mining might not be for you.

After nearly 80 hours of uptime one of my Vega FE's crashed... I had to restart my computer!  Pretty stable considering I mine while gaming and let Vega get a good work out!

While I haven't touched the rig myself, it's been reported to me that HBCC segmentation can cause crashing on 1x to 16x powered risers.

Myself, both of my vega cards are running 8x in motherboard slots.  Without HBCC segmentation I get 36Mh/s, with I get 42Mh/s.  This is at HBM2 clock of 1100MHz.

I've been struggling to get my rig to work for two weeks.  It was mining fine 24/7 for days at a time.  Then it froze, and ever since then it'll mine for a minute, two cards will go to zero hash rate, and Windows freezes.  Tried reinstalling drivers.  Connecting them in various orders.  No one card seems to be causing the problem.  I'm at a loss here and this thing is sucking up all my time.

Win10, rx580s (one 480).  1000W evga psu.  Biostar mobo.

Windows update screwed with something and it took me days to get my hashrate back.  In the end I rolled back to a previous driver.

One of your cards failed Sad

I mine on my gaming rig, so I stop mining on the display adapter while I'm gaming.

My 24hr averages are usually very close to reported hashrate.

Even on a VEGA 64 that is OC to 41MH?

Any other GPU I've used in the past the 24 avg lines up with reported ( within ~1MH ).

Vega 64 is stuck at 32 MH for 24 hour average for me.  It lends credence to the stories about how the reported hashrate is incorrect for the VEGA 64.

My theory?  Some throttling is happening due to some setting.  In Claymore spam the statistics button 's' (I mean really spam, try to get a few reports a second).  I see it is sometimes 41 MH then sometimes I see as low as 23 MH.   I think the card is throttling for a quarter second every second or so.

Anyway, something weird is definitely going on.  I'm holding my breath for someone to post legit mining results.  Lets see your ethermine page, average and all of a OC Vega 64 running 41MH and actually getting close to that in 24hr avg.  Again, I can get my card to 41 MHs reported no problem, still comes out as 32MH for 24 hours avg.

I'm using two Vega Frontier Edition air cooled cards, which are basically Vega 64's with 16gb of vram.

You will see a worker labled c_vega_fe, this is both of my cards, one at 40Mh/s and the other at 42Mh/s.  You will also see that they were offline for a bit while I was playing, which may or may not account for the hashrate difference 81.6 reported, 78 actual.

More than one person reporting hashrates in the 40's.  What I can tell you is that Vega is very heat sensitive.  If the memory gets above 80C performance falls off dramatically.  Core temp also has a major effect on performance.  It seems likely to me the doubters are not optimizing their settings or lost the silicon lottery.

I've got near a month of mining at 40 and 42Mh/s with managable temps and apparently decent power consumption.

I'm running the aug. 11 Radeon Pro public beta for Vega FE.

I was running blockchain drivers but they require too much cvddc and the hbm2 gets over 80C and starts to throttle.

An earlier reading from the wall suggested 511w but that was with my previous power supply which was in the process of dying and a much higher cvddc setting.  Setting of 1050, where with the aug 11 vega fe beta drivers I can run cvddc at 950.

If GPU-Z can be trusted:

Vega FE Air's

GPU_0 = -cclock 1137 -mclock 1050 -cvddc 950 = 40.4Mh/s 51C, 78% fan, 15C ambient = 158w
GPU_1 = -cclock 1137 -mclock 1100 -cvddc 950 = 42.4Mh/s 55C, 66% fan, 15C ambient = 168w

I ruined the earth ground on the killawatt I borrowed, so I currently cannot take a wall measurement.

Update. Vega 56
36MH/s 135W at wall (wattmeter)

-15% powerlimit (But I guess it's not usefull because I reduce a lot the GPU clock, I 'll check the effect of this later
Core 925
Mem 970
Fan 80%

Setting the GPU core clocks to low impairs share find times!

May make you feel good to see 36mhs, but you won't be getting hashing rewards at that rate!

I guess, you'll need to run it for week to see whether you are getting what the calculator says you should be getting for 36mhs (minus fees).

I reckon it will be something much lower.

I was averaging 2% stale shares with a core clock of 852Mhz with VegaFE.

I don't know if it is specific to me, but I also have issues installing drivers in win10 for vega.  I get one driver installation, after that something always goes wrong and I have to reinstall windows.

Awesome it's not just me. I have the same issue's that I get 1 installed fine anything after that it's a 50/50 chance that the driver installs correctly for the other 9 Vega gpu's. I haven't tried another driver yet besides the Aug23 blockchain driver. Have you? Trying to compare notes to see what else to test to try and get them hashing. I've spent WAY to much time on get more that 1 Vega GPU working...

I'm running 2x Vega FE.  The public drivers I've run are Vega FE release drivers, Vega FE beta(public) and the aug. 23 block chain drivers.

I got both cards up to 42.4Mh/s last night.  Windows updated and restarted the computer and I can't get them past 36mh/s now.  Very frustrating.

Windows update usually installs newest GPU drivers.  So just uninstall your drivers with DDU in safe mode, reinstall proper drivers, and disable windows update.

Windows update did not change the display drivers according to radeon control.
