Hi guys!

Just two points of information:

1) Topmine.io needs to be added to the list - (I currently have 10usd in it but this is as I enjoy gambling on these kind sites)
The site fulfills a full 8/8, and even pay users in DogeC just for visiting  Huh, I doubt I will see my 10usd again - but hey.

2)NiceHash is legit IMO (NOTE: OPINION is different from FACT), the reason I say so is that I have mined (GPU RIG) through them, they are an               intermediary between sellers and buyers of almost any hashpower, that take their cut from the trade. You can of course never make a profit as a buyer of hashpower, but selling it works out well. I do around 2USD a day using just my crappy R9270 and old ass CPU.  I will honestly never understand why people invest in actual cloudmining (with the idea of making ROI), but then again people are dumb. (Ref: see point 1, where I have 10usd in topmine Undecided)

EDIT: Their little app benchmarks your gear vs real time prices and switches mining algos automatically, quite nice. It is usually more profitable than normal pool mining because of the high rates that buyers pay

Love this thread by the way!

Re: Which is the most profitable cloud mining?

Ok, I haven't been (anything) with crypto currencies in the last 2 years, but after receiving some hashpower as a gift recently, i've been going through all this bullshit systematically to explain to the person that gifted it to me that it's all a scam. (it's on a cloudmining scam site - which is paying but yeah, for now - [hashocean])

SO, with that all in mind, here is the website he is involved with

https://www.skilldragon.com/

where they, and get this, offer NOT ONLY ridiculously lucrative ROI on cloudmining, but also an actual pyramid scheme (I haven't even seen one of these in like 5 years). Of course you can only get vague information from them until you purchase like $600 contracts for whatever and some more, but naturally, when one looks at their numbers vs real life estimations it really puts the HIGH in HYIP.

In any case, I really cant find much info about these guys (although I have found the actual people - Both South Africans, with addresses on website, or private youtube channel).

I would be positively chuffed if some of you could look it over and maybe post a warning thread? They seem to be targeting 3rd world countries for both of the abovementioned "investment oppertunities". They specifically target people that seem to know very little about cryptocurrencies and then confuse them and take their money.

PS. cherry on the cake, you can never utilise your full hashpower with them (even though its only a 3 year contract) instead you must "reinvest" a minimum of 35% for more hashpower. I'm sure you all know what that does for an ROI in just 3 years. sigh.

Kind regards and thank you in advance,
apissedoffcitizen

Hey guys! I had an idea i suppose we should see if it is viable or not:

What if we all saved up the profits from this project (around 1.4BTC/ week if i'm correct) and buy a second miner?

ie, if we decided on it, SSB keeps all profit for (example) 1 month, and buys a second jupiter which profits are then redistributed among all of us.

Let me know what you think.

SSB
the week of 25 nov my HDD crashed and wallet was lost, the last backup was the week before so there is no transaction for that week's dividends. Is it possible to recover this as I assume it did not send?

Got the USB miner, plugged it in, ran great, first thing in the morning my two year old yanked it out of my laptop and snapped it. #Fail
Thanks though.

Oh man, really sorry to hear that. No way to repair it? Is it completely broken?

My friend is attempting surgery as we speak.

Ahhhhh dude I cringed when I read that, so sorry bro

OH ok thank you that sounds right.
Regarding smart investment or not: I realise that for most traders it is a bad investment as the value and dividends will decrease over time, I however do not trade so often, my reason for investment is purely for short term growth + storage i.e. instead of all my BTC just sitting in a wallet atleast here it gains some value....... is my thinking incorrect? ( 1 bond costs ~0.0072BTC at the moment, 1 bond = 1Mhash, daily dividends.).

Hey guys! I've got a question about "Discarded work".
I use CGminer with the CGWatcher frontend. the program however always states that about 1/3 of my"shares accepted" are "Discarded" i.e. Shares accepted = 1000, Discarded = 300.    I have tried several fixes but now have no idea.....

Any advice?

Hey I thought this might be the correct place to ask as google yielded useless results: On the bitfunder discussion page people keep referring to "PMB"

eg " I just think long-time the PMB is worthless to buying..... What's your thoughts here? ?
I just selling out all my PMB assets......."

So what does PMB mean in this case?

Difficulty jump reaaallly saddened me though, one day after I buy the shares and get a nice dividend it drops 22%, that's why i asked earlier, I was hoping it was not the monstrous difficulty increase Angry .
Either way I love these assets  Grin
