Let me hear some requests for what coins you guys want to see pumped up in the weeks to come!
TiPS! It's way undervalued right now, has hit up to 200 litoshi but currently sitting at 10. It's the first coin to have an anonymizer function which allows you to send coins anonymously through mixing nodes.

We should all send moolah an email about TiPS and don't forget to mention the amount of volume TiPS has had on Cryptsy the past few days! That will be a major selling point as I believe we've had a volume of about 40,000 LTC in the last few days

After seeing a shit-coin like TOP rise from 3 sat to 12 sat overnight, I'm not worried about TiPS price at all our day will come for sure, just a matter of time.

Mined MINT since day 1 thought I'd sell at 9 and rebuy at 5-6 but it just shot through the roof 
Well that leaves you with two choices, buy back in now in case it just keeps going up. Or wait for it to dip back down after this spike as often happens right after a price spike. Price spikes many dump and it comes back down before going back up again later. Always the little waves in the graphs of drops after spikes, the question is, will that drop be lower than the price is now.
Gonna try to buy back in at 10-11.. I was thinking of buying more at 4 yesterday but went with TIPS instead -.-

Darkcoin already starting to test out their mixer, so this rebranding needs to be done quicker or else we won't get the chance to advertise TiPS as the first mixer coin since Darkcoin seems to be more popular
Exactly. I think that coin with the binary numbers around it is perfect, we need invisibel to come in and approve the logo/rebrand and put that behind us, focus strictly on the mixer and TIPS going forward. We really need to act NOW or this will be a huge opportunity wasted

I think people are blowing the whole tips thing out of proportion. The coin should be called TIPS/TiPS and the acronym doesn't matter as long as it SUPPORTS what TIPS is all about...
The one I liked best was 'Tips: Integrity Privacy Security' by pinnstol. It's basically saying this is what TIPS is about: Integrity, Privacy and Security.
I also think that the Fedora is an intricate part of TIPS' history, but it does NOT need to be represented with the word 'Fedora'... all we need is the upside down fedora in the coin logo to show that it's still the same coin that's been out for months and not some brand new shit-coin, but it has been rebranded to something more universal. Pictures speak a thousand words.
The last thing I want to say is about the coin-mixing feature. Right now Tips is the only coin with this feature as far as I'm aware... in a week or so, Dark coin might offer something similar. NOW is the ONLY time we have to establish TIPS as the first coin with 100% anonymity. Once other coins start offering the same feature it won't matter that Tips came out with it first.
We need to get our shit together SOON and stop arguing over which acronym/name is the best, and just go with what makes sense the most and CAPATLIZE on this amazing opportunity. The window is getting VERY slim and we need to act NOW.
You're right, there should be a sense of urgency, but we shouldn't rush our decisions. I agree with jdbcoin and i'm sure invisibel will also agree. We have to do what's best for TIPS.... and edit: marketing discussion should be done through deliberation. The more people invest their ideas and talents to TIPS, the more we will be solidified as a community. This will then become a sustaining movement in a sea of clones. Once this becomes a movement, the investors will see it, respect it, and start pouring in.
Yep I agree with all that. I think the decisions should not be rushed but at the same time we have to get the name/acronym/logo stuff out of the way relatively soon so we can start promoting the coin itself. If we spend the next week or two just arguing over which combination of words should make up TIPS, we'll lose the opportunity to showcase how this coin differs itself from the 100+ shitcoins in circulation
