Açai
Native to the rainforests of South America, the açai (pronounced ah-SIGH-ee) is a small purple berry that has been touted as a weight-loss and anti-aging aid. The fruit contains very high levels of antioxidants in the form of anthocyanins, which help fight cancer and heart disease. “It’s also one of the few fruits with oleic acid—the same heart-healthy fat in olive oil,” says Andy Bellatti, a Las Vegas-based registered dietitian. Because fresh açai is often unavailable, it’s typically sold frozen or in tablets, powders, or juices. Bellatti suggests avoiding açai juices, because they usually contain added sugar. “I recommend buying packs of unsweetened frozen açai that you can blend with any sweet fruit to make a smoothie without a lot of junk,” he says.It

Re: Best country the you travel?

Chile because it  is a sinewy sliver of a nation, isolated from the rest of South America (and indeed the world) by the soaring Andes to the east, the vast Pacific Ocean to the west, the bone-dry Atacama Desert up north and the impenetrable wilds of Patagonia down south. From its disparate extremes to the ever-trendier capital of Santiago at its heart, the country’s citizens will unite in 2018 to mark 200 years of independence. Thanks to new non-stop flights from both London and Melbourne, it’s never been easier to catch a plane, raise a glass of pisco sour and toast the celebration.

NightCrawlers

I just finished watching this movie, and the first thing I did after watching it was start writing this post.

Nightcrawler is a movie for people with great vision.

This movie is little brutal, but Jake Gyllenhaal’s acting will keep you engaged. It’s about a struggling guy who is looking for a job but can’t find one. Instead, he finds a window of opportunity after witnessing a crime and decides to become a crime journalist.

This movie will teach you that with a little persuasion and drive, anyone can become anything. It will teach you how focusing on, and improving, your positive attributes will make you limitless.

Go watch this movie, and then come back and tell me you aren’t inspired. It’s not possible.

Re: Most dangerous jobs

1. Underwater Welder
Underwater welders face a series of dangers on the job every day, including the risk of shock, explosion, decompression sickness and wear on their dental fillings. Underwater welding is ranked as one of the top five most dangerous careers- according to Blogger Proud to Be American. “It has a 15% fatality rate, 1,000 more dangerous than being a police officer.”
2. Fisherman
Any kind of fishing is an extremely dangerous profession; they are faced with blizzards and difficult weather conditions, heavy machinery and long working hours with no or, very little sleep. Fishermen suffer from serious injuries due to heavy machinery and gear, with 80% of fatalities due to hyperthermia or being thrown overboard and drowning.

Hydrating with water.
Eating healthy carbohydrates such as whole-grain cereals (with low-fat or skim milk), whole-wheat toast, low-fat or fat-free yogurt, whole grain pasta, brown rice, fruits and vegetables.
Avoiding saturated fats and even a lot of healthy protein — because these types of fuels digest slower in your stomach and take away oxygen and energy-delivering blood from your muscles.
If you only have 5-10 minutes before you exercise, eat a piece of fruit such as an apple or banana.
After your workout:
Fluids. Drink water, of course. Blend your water with 100% juice such as orange juice which provides fluids, carbohydrates.
Carbohydrates. You burn a lot of carbohydrates — the main fuel for your muscles — when you exercise. In the 20-60 minutes after your workout, your muscles can store carbohydrates and protein as energy and help in recovery.
Protein. Eat things with protein to help repair and grow your muscles. It’s important to realize that these are general guidelines. We have different digestive systems and “a lot depends on what kind of workout you’re doing,” Platt said.
So do what works best for you. Know that what you put in your body (nutrition) is as important as you what you do with your body (exercise). Both are crucial to keeping your engine performing at its best.

Re: What is the best wallet for LTC

 Ledger Nano S (Hardware Wallet)

The Ledger Nano S is the most popular hardware wallet available, and it supports Litecoin.

If you have a lot of Litecoins, this is the most secure and robust way to store them. It not only allows you to control your private keys, they are controlled in an offline environment.

It comes with an inbuilt OLED screen, a backup seed key, and a pin code feature. This is how you can restore your funds in case something goes wrong with your hardware device.

Harsh has recorded a few detailed video guides on how to use the Ledger Nano S. I recommend you watch them and subscribe to our YouTube channel.

And if you are a multi-currency lover, then buying a Ledger is not a bad deal at $65.

Re: Your opinion on token airdrops?
by
Nekrasova
on 26/04/2018, 19:17:45 UTC
While it would be appealing to receive some of the hot new tokens for free, the truth is, the airdrops for those are long past. Assets like OmiseGo, Stellar, BAT, Golem sometimes see announcements for fake airdrops. Usually, those are attempts to steal wallet private keys. So if you see an invitation for an airdrop of an already widely traded token, best check with the official social media of the project.
Some airdrops require the sharing of a few online identities plus a blockchain address. In theory, the address is forever linked with a person. Sending and receiving from that address also taints other addresses. The small reward of an airdrop may have higher costs along the way.
For some airdrops, the coins never arrive. Or, they are a token that has no value and no way of trading. While in the past ICOs have given away valuable assets, now some projects don't even bother to send the tokens. So filling out all the forms may be a waste of time. For some projects, the referral program is also fake, further wasting time.

Re: Should I buy BItcoin or Litecoin
by

Bitcoin is the mainstream choice. If you're looking for a cryptocurrency with first-mover advantage, unmatched popular visibility and the highest market capitalization, it's a no-brainer. On the downside, it's now nearly impossible to mine profitably, incredibly energy-intensive and, after rising more than 1,000 percent over the past year, could have expended most of its potential for growth. (This is debatable. No one knows anything.)

Litecoin offers its own advantages. Its creator is a known and active entity in the cryptocurrency community. It has a capacity for faster transactions -- a potential advantage in and of itself, which also provides for a different set of use cases than bitcoin. And it still offers the potential for profitable mining, unlike bitcoin

Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again?
by

Due to the massive fluctuations of the market, relying on predictions alone is not considered a viable option at all. If you are looking for an easy-fix solution and price prediction, you are placing your considerable investments at higher risk. You can use the predictors to make an educated guess about the future of the cryptocurrency and keep in mind the latest news and global impacts on the cryptocurrency. But, ultimately, if you want a good ROI on your investment and scale down risk, you shouldn’t rely entirely on price predictors.
If you look at the WalletInvestor's model, predictions have been made for the future of most popular cryptocurrencies. We are designed to follow the long-term trend of the coin in particular but that doesn’t account for the massive fluctuations that Bitcoin faces week in week out. So, a particular emphasis is on long-term investment strategies like buy-and-hold that have proven to be quite successful for amateur investors. Many people now like to invest their savings in Bitcoin and other virtual coins for long-term without having to do the difficult research required for short-term investment.
