First go to Settings->Options and check "Map port using UPnP". Restart the client and give it 10 mins.

Do you have access to your router to know if this is enabled? Is it old?

I do have access to my router, but xcoin-qt.exe isn't in my port forwarding list (other wallets have been added automatically - e.g. quotient, hyperstake, quibucks, gamerholiccoin, etc.).  Do I need to add it manually?  If so, which port(s) need to be forwarded?  I'm currently staking 9 other coins with no problems.

I tried checking and unchecking "Map port using UPnP" in settings and restarting with no luck.  I also made sure xcoin-qt.exe has full access in & out through zonealarm.  Any suggestions?

I bought some XCO from C-Cex  yesterday and sent it to my wallet address, but I can't get my wallet to see the network...  I'm using wallet v1.0.0.1-g32a928e.  I think I saw a post that said that we shouldn't need a xcoin.conf file with nodes in it - is that correct? 

I've already tried deleting everything (except my wallet file) and starting fresh, but I still have 0 connections to the network.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!  I can't wait to start staking!

I was just wondering if there was an IRC chan set up for this coin - it may be a good place for people who want to help out to get together.

I would love to help out, but I have no coding skills at all...  I am willing to learn though (and I know a lot about physics)!

For the config file, is the file name 'HyperStake.conf' (case sensitive, I assume)?

What should the config file be named?  10k.conf?  Case sensitive?

Got it!  I needed to update the nodes from page 1 of the ANN.  I used the following and it worked right away:

maxconnections=100
addnode=98.174.25.33:11082
addnode=23.92.61.98:11082
addnode=104.236.222.217:11082
addnode=37.59.18.108:11082
addnode=94.190.246.163:11082
addnode=96.236.59.185:11082
addnode=81.152.225.30:11082
addnode=81.164.5.200:11082

This is probably because the Quant tab auto-updates every 2 minutes in the background, and it is doing drawing operations to update the graphs.  Next update there is a checkbox to turn off the auto-update just like on the profit explorer tab, and that will probably solve it for you (just uncheck it before playing your games).

That is most excellent news!  I'm looking forward to it!

I'm a big fan of XQN, but I seem to be having some problems with the wallet...

When I'm playing a game online, I get serious lag and rubberbanding, making most of the games I play completely unplayable (Call of Duty series, Battlefield 4, Titanfall, Path of Exile, etc.) unless I close my wallet.  I can still have half a dozen other wallets running with no impact (I spent the last two weeks trying to figure out why my games wouldn't play anymore).

Has anyone else had this problem?  Does anyone have any ideas of how I may be able to fix it?   Huh
