Re: LITECOIN: radeon HD7970 can't get faster than 460Kh/s

I've had the same issue with two XFX 7970. Both only go about 370 kH/s no matter what I try. I have a gigabyte 7970 in another computer and it runs fine stock at about 680 kH/s. I've yet to find any fixes online  besides tweaking them till they work. Let me know if you get yours fixed (it'd be nice to double my hash rate on the machine  Tongue )

Doesn't load at all for me. I got Win7 with Java 7.17. At first nothing would happen, now I get an error: "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item" pointing to -> C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Temp\74D3.tmp\batfile.bat

Then i see b2e.exe running in my task manager till I force it closed, but no gui or applet.

Re: Do any of you trade penny stocks?
by

I did trade penny stocks. Made about 3 grand then went down 6. That's when I called it quites. You really need to be careful with pump and dumps and also really watch the news. I invested a small amount (like 75 bucks) in a company that creates and sells radiological/biological detection kits and then the tsunami hit Japan. I made 1000 bucks in a week because of it.

Always look at the companies filings. They may say they've made 10 million dollars in the last year, but allot of times if you look at their filings, you'll see that they are in the hole like 400 mil. If there are no filings, stay away. STAY VERY FAR AWAY. There allot of "fake" companies that come from Asia that scam money and run with it. I only had one instance of this but I only lost 50 bucks, thank god.

I love silver because it makes me feel like a pirate and I want to hoard it, so it encourages me to save.

That has to be a winner haha +1

Arrrr, Indeed pirates are far more likely to get silver booty!

You must be part of the FSM movement, no?

this seems like they're monitoring our browsing history, in exchange for bitcoins...I could very easily be mistaken but seems risky
Every advertiser is using the url of the webpage you visit as one criteria among others to select the "right" ad to display.
So yes, of course we use the the url of the current webpage, but :
- we don't monitor browser history
- we do not need to archive the url

You can extract the source code from the plugin if you want to check what is really done, nothing is obfuscated.

I was thinking the same thing. After checking out my Collusion plugin, I've been pretty wary on how websites/plugins track my internet history and preferences. So you're saying you don't archive site hits per IP using the plugin, nor are you tracking physical location of the user? Also you do not "sell" any anonymous information to other advertisers?

I think it would be a good idea to add a section on your webpage to address these questions.

LiteCoin is the BitCoin killer.

They fixed the bugs in Bitcoin.  Wink

Interesting, I might have to take a look at that as a short term investment since bitcoins are going so high right now.

I'd say investing in Bitcoins would still high risk. But high risk has high rewards if it works out. It's such a new concept, it could crash, it could revolutionize the monetary world. I'd suppose at this point it would be better than penny stocks, but hell, ya never know.  Tongue

Hi all! I just downloaded the bitwallet app, getting a Butterfly labs Single (whenever the hell it finally gets shipped  Roll Eyes ) and WAS trying to get in on the action before it boomed again. But seeing as today it jumped to 70 bucks a bitcoin, I think I might be a little late.

I'm kicking myself in the arse because I originally found out about bitcoin in 2010 and was like "oh, that's pretty neat!" then my computer crashed (damn you DELL!) and I totally forgot about it.

Oh well, I really support the idea of Bitcoin and hope it proves a better investment then the stock market (which I lost about 6 G in last year).
