I have just upgraded from AMD Threadripper 2950x to 2990wx and from a 16-core CPU to a 32-core one. I used to mine Monero using 2950x (cpuThreads = 13) and achieved a hashrate of about 6 kH/s. Now I mine Monero using 2990wx (cpuThreads = 26) and by default, gain a hashrate of about 2 kH/s only, which is a performance reduction by around two-thirds. I have tried various configurations of Ryzen Master such as Dynamic Local Mode and also CorePrio, but to no avail.

But by running nanomier and SRBMiner together in the Windows 10 environment, 2990ws has been able to get more than 5 kH/s, still a little slower than 2950x. I will continue to tweak the two programs in the hope of further hashrate improvement.

Hopefully, nanominer developers could add manual affinity (every other thread) option so that there is no need to run SRBMiner any more and help minimize a drain on system resources.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X 3.5GHz/32MB is able to use 16 threads while Monero mining. Each tread is 50-60 h/s. It must give up to 960 h/s. If you have better results it is more than enough.

Yes. 2950X stays at that hashrate or a little lower when you surf the Internet and watch Youtube Videos

I have just bought a Threadripper 2950x. It is currently mining at 1350 hashrate at the most without any overclocking, which is exactly the same as what its previous generation 1950x can achieve.  So perhaps with a little more tweaking, it can be faster, but I would not expect too much from it.

Re: How to transfer ERC 20 tokens to myetherwallet?

How can I transfer ERC 20 tokens to myetherwallet from any exchange like Bittrex, Poloniex or Binance.

Need a complete guide.

1. Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/
2. Click through the info sites and read them carefully.
3. Click "OMG, please just let me send FFS"
4. Choose password
5. Click "create new wallet".
6. Download keyfile
7. Read content and then click "OK, I understand. Continue".
8. Save private key.
9. Access wallet with your private key (or other that suits you)
10. Go to "View wallet info".
11. Copy account address.
12. Go to exchanger to your token wallet.
13. Click on deposit
14. Paste myetherwallet address.
15. Click send but read also here, what they write.
Important: You should urgently put first ETH to your myetherwallet account (around 0.01 ETH) for transactions fees ("GAS").

Thank you.  Am I to understand that I have to keep at least 0.01 ETH in the myetherwallet before I can deposit tokens from an exchange to myetherwallet? Currently my myetherwallet balance is zero. Or gas is needed only when I want to send tokens out of myetherwallet?

After downloading and installing the AMD blockchain driver "Radeon Software Crimson ReLive Edition Beta for [Suspicious link removed]pute Driver for Windows® 10 64-bit", the mining speed rose to 640 H/s from 568 H/s.

Are there any differences in mining speed between eu1,eu2,asia1,us-east1,us-west1? Has any one tested these servers? Is choosing the closest server to the mining rig the best option?

You just helped me out man. :-) 🦊 I've got an RX 480 unit in my 16.04 Ubuntu installation and it wa Dog-slow with Claymore's Monero miner.  That little -dmem 0 command made all the difference.  Now I can use my workstation and mine at the same time.  Many thank-you's. :-)

Congrats! Specifying -dmem 0 solved the exact same problem for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to make Claymore's CryptoNote Windows CPU Miner v4.0 work.

I have given up and will wait for Claymore's upgrade.  I simply can't figure out how to configure the other miners.

What other miner would you suugst to replace Claymore for the time being?

For CPU mining

XMRig AMD 2.6.0 - https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig-amd/

XMR-STAK - https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak

Thread started by Mattthev Kudos to him

I'm using AMD's RX 480 graphics card. I have figured out how to resolve the sluggish Win10 operating system performance when v11.3 is launched as well as how to increase mining speed. Just specify "-dmem 0 " to disable the default "twice more GPU RAM" mode. Miraculously the mining speed rises to 568 H/s from 276 H/s. Also the whole Win10 system is no longer sluggish and becomes normal. Thank God.

Hi, I have 2 questions

1- Since about a week ago I can't mine sumo, error message says sumo changed algo, use xmr ver 2.*
Is there any way to use claymore's like before?

2- I have no problem with dev fee, so how to enable it or donate to claymore?

Unfortunately no, Unless Claymore revised his miner to support Cryptonight-Heavy Algo you cant mine Sumo with it.

my advise, use other miner out there

What other miner would you suugst to replace Claymore for the time being?

Could anyone help me find out what the problem is? I'm using Windows 7 (64-bit).
V4.0 freezes with the prompt
FAST MODE ENABLED
Press "S"key for statistics.

After disabling Symantec anti-virus,
The program shows
Speed: 0 h/s, TotalHashes: OK, Mining time:
