i think i'll go with i7 5820k or maybe just stay with 4970k because of all the upgrades necessary for the x99 chipet, new board, new ram,no money 

plus quad core is sufficient in gaming, and octa core is overkill except if you're into editing or mining. 

will be playing Shadow of Mordor soon! 

you have many choices and its up to you, for performance and looks i would recommend corsair memory or kingston hyperx as long as its 1333Mhz or 1066Mhz clockspeed.

I just started watching Parks and Recreation and it is damn funny 

I highly recommend it. 

Plus Breaking Bad, Friends (reunion pls) , The Big Bang Theory, The Office, Legend of Korra

The Intel 5960X is pricey, 1000$ 

I think the main advantage of the new systems is that they are more efficient so less heat imo.

But im gonna wait for the prices to go a bit down before i upgrade plus i am waiting for the Nvidia 900 series, they skipped the desktop 800 series.
