Dear NewsCrypto community,
we’re closing out another fast-paced week, during which we prepared several exciting new developments, and the most important one is definitely the Crypto 101 webinar which we’ll be hosting at 2 PM CET on March 23rd. The webinar will be completely free, and attendees will learn all they need to know in order to make their first steps into the world of crypto.
The webinar will consist of two main parts:
(1) two lectures by NewsCrypto team members followed by a Q&A session and
(2) a fireside chat with several prominent crypto traders.
The main focus will be on how to start trading crypto, so we’ll get to all of the basics on how and where to buy and trade, and we’ll also give some practical tips on how to avoid scams and other attacks.
Since every successful crypto investor should also understand what crypto is on a technological level, the second lecture will present a concise explanation of what different blockchains are and how they work, as well as an overview of some recent developments, especially in decentralized finance (DeFi).
Apart from the webinar, we’re also working on the new version of our app, and we’ll soon announce some new integrations and partnerships with well-known projects that will help us make the app even better. Every aspect of the app – from market tracking to entertainment – will be completely overhauled, so stay tuned for updates on the new features and the release date.
We’ve already announced several upgrades on our Twitter, for example the new look of the dashboard, community predictions section and the new customizable price alerts.
As for the regular weekly content, this week’s Market Price Report was about Solana (SOL), while the FA report was a bit different this time, as it covered a whole class of assets, namely oracles (and Chainlink, Band and DIA in particular). The NFT craze is still very much going on, so the How-to Crypto post was about NFTs – what they are, how it all started and how you can buy them. NFTs were also mentioned in the Weekly Report, alongside news on more institutional buying of crypto.

NWC/BUSD pool is now live on PancakeSwap! 
We recently announced that NWC is getting listed on PancakeSwap, and that day has now arrived.

The NWC/BUSD pair went live at 3 PM CET on 3/3/2021. In order to demonstrate our commitment to PancakeSwap and the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem, we locked up 75% of $100k of our liquidity.
So why did we choose PancakeSwap?
We believe that trading on decentralized exchanges (DEXes), which takes the ideals of crypto to the next level – namely privacy, self-custody, and safety – should be accessible to absolutely everyone, and that is simply not the case on Ethereum-based DEXes given the current fees.
While a Uniswap transaction often has a gas fee of around $50, and sometimes upwards of $100, transactions on BSC are incomparably cheaper at under $0.5 for a PancakeSwap trade. This hasn’t gone unnoticed by the crypto community, with BSC (and especially PancakeSwap) volumes skyrocketing. At one point, PancakeSwap’s daily volume was higher than that of Uniswap, and even now the two DEXes are very close in terms of volume.

Its design represents security and shelter, while the blue color inspires confidence. The logo is encased in a hexagon that is typically associated with a shield.
The lines on the lower left and right represent open palms over which the Bitcoin symbol hovers. The top lines represent a roof, completing and connecting the sign into a whole.
From this moment on, all NewsCrypto media channels, groups, exchanges, and other sites will start using the new logo.

While this week’s correction was making most people very very worried, we’ve been hard at work on several major developments.
The two most important ones are the PancakeSwap listing, which is coming soon, and a complete redesign of all of our products.
While both of these are very important, we’ll start with the PancakeSwap news, as it’s something you’ve probably been expecting if you’ve been following our updates.
The PancakeSwap trading pair for NWC will be opened very soon, so stay tuned for the official link to the pair, which will be published on our official social media pages.

Apart from PancakeSwap, we’re also working on a DeFi product that will enable all of our users to be their own bank, and we’re going to build it on Binance Smart Chain.
We firmly believe that DeFi needs to be available to everyone, which is why the entry threshold posed by the current fees on Ethereum would be unacceptable.
And with so many DeFi projects moving to BSC, we’re certainly in good company!
The second major announcement is the complete redesign of all of our products.
This will include a redesigned user interface, but also comprehensive improvements to functionality on the mobile app, website, platform and mobile wallet.
Essentially, we’re upgrading everything from the ground up, based on the feedback that we’ve received so far.
