Re: Satoshi. What did he found to create something like bitcoin?

I think that in real life Satoshi did not exist. In addition, it is unlikely the richest people of this world are really afraid of bitcoin. I’m sure that some of the richest wallets of bitcoin and other serious cryptocurrencies are controlled by them.

Re: Can ETH break its highest record again
by

Ether was growing from 260 dollars to 1000 about 6-7 months under favorable conditions in 2017, when ICO boom was observed. Accordingly, new growth should take no less than this time.

If we take into account current place of cryptocurrencies in the global financial and economic system of the world, then this is only the beginning of development. There are not so many funds in the crypto world at present, so there are still many promising ways for development.

by

Cryptocurrencies are an opportunity to gain new knowledge, and also to earn some money on condition of reasonable and not risky behavior. If you are an adventurer, you will lose your money sooner or later, by investing it in something else.

If you don’t have an urgent need for money, then it's better not to rush into selling Ether now. This is its lowest price for the year, so it will grow again with a high degree of probability.

If this activity is interesting and brings income, then why not engage in it for several hours a day? If you like reading this forum, and also are interested in new ICO, then it is quite logical to get some profit from this.

The downward trend can not be eternal. A close look at the market shows that strong fall in the price of the main cryptocurrencies is caused by sales from several wallets, after which there is a gradual increase. This means that majority of market participants believe in the future, and buys assets, expecting to further profit. Only whales are still playing as bears, buying up for a penny cryptocurrencies, which is sold by big miners and investors who need cash.

The overthrow of bitcoin from the first place is theoretically possible, because it was developed back in 2008, and since then many new developments have appeared. But you need to take into account the psychology of people who see that it has existed for almost 10 years, and therefore reliable.

Re: ICO prediction 2019
by

on 02/10/2018, 18:26:38 UTC
I am sure that in 2019 ICO will not only remain, but there will be more of them. This is due to the legalization of cryptocurrency and crowdfunding in an increasing number of countries, which will lead to increase in the total number of ICOs.

Bitcoin stably maintains its price around 6500 dollars per coin. This price persisted for a long time even in the summer, during a decline in business activity. During this period, bitcoin was legalized in many countries. In 2019, it will be 10 years old, which will lead to another surge of interest and increase in price.

Re: I went bankrupt when I joined in cryptocurrency
by
Nexigen
on 01/10/2018, 15:41:08 UTC
Complete bankruptcy was due to the fact that this person has chosen false values in his life. Huge wealth obtained as a result of speculation is very rare, and cannot be achieved as a result of playing on a long uptrend, as it was in 2017. In addition, we don't have to put all eggs in one basket and invest all savings in cryptocurrencies.

Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do?
by

on 28/09/2018, 21:48:24 UTC
Fall of the market in 2018 led to the loss of money by huge number of people. But, at the same time, it became a lesson that you don’t need to strive to get huge income on a long growth trend. In 2016-2017 cryptocurrencies only grew, and this cannot be eternal. The same can be said about constant fall of cryptocurrencies - it cannot be permanent.

This is temporary phenomenon caused by short burst of activity of players playing to raise the price of XRP. Ethereum has great attractiveness as a platform, so if developers of Ether don’t stop in its development, it will be more attractive to investors.

Re: Which exchanges are better? DEX or CEX?
by
Nexigen
on 28/09/2018, 21:08:12 UTC
Theoretically decentralized exchanges are better, but in practice they are not yet so developed and familiar to users to become popular. Uncertainty frightens, therefore majority chooses centralized exchanges with the greatest degree of reliability.

Re: Don't buy Bitcoin with alts!
by
Nexigen
on 27/09/2018, 21:17:39 UTC
If you are worried about the future of bitcoin, you should understand that it doesn't matter what assets bitcoin is bought for. Overall trading volumes are more important for its growth, which are increased even during trades for altcoins. The fall in its price may be caused not by buying with altcoins, but from mass selling bitcoins for fiat money. But this requires huge amounts of bitcoins, which can be sold only by few persons.

Re: Too many speculators in the cryptospace?

Cryptocurrencies allows very quickly to carry out transactions related to trading. At the same time, some cryptocurrency projects are not entirely transparent. Their organizers can declare one number of coins, but in fact they will release more. This attracts scammers, as, for example, it was with the Envion project.

Now we can say with confidence that cryptocurrencies are a given and they will exist in the future. This is confirmed by the almost ten-year existence of bitcoin, legalization of cryptocurrencies in many countries of the world, including Japan and South Korea.

Re: ETH to hold now or not?
by
Nexigen
on 27/09/2018, 15:31:37 UTC
The ratio of the price of Ether and bitcoin is not the best now. But it must be taken into account that at the moment there are already a lot of competitors of Ether, which greatly pushed this coin off the market. Proceeding from this, the price of Ether in bitcoins cannot rise very much.

Bitcoin significantly affects overall situation in cryptocurrency market because it has the largest capitalization and trade turnover. If some other cryptocurrency will be able to become larger in this area, it will influence overall pricing and situation on cryptomarket.

Re: Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency
by

This is a beautiful picture, but I don’t think that it corresponds to modern reality. Capitalization of bitcoin has very strongly fallen since April, 2018, therefore it now does not enter even in first ten currencies. But it's still a very good position.
