Please. This is getting ridiculous and it seems like there is no stop to it. There are so many coins for every single purpose out there..there is no need to create any more coin. If we keep creating altcoins it will never grow because new coins will replacing old ones and we'll be stuck in loop forever.

I stopped talking interest in alt coins way back, I don't visit the [ANN] section now. But I thought the frequency of new coins releases had slowed down considerably. How is it now? a couple of coins every week?

Slander and insults are also allowed as long as they contain any kind of constructive opinion, info or something else substantial and aren't off-topic. For example, posting something like "you are dumb" will be deleted as it contains no meaningful content. However, if the post is somehwere along the lines of "You are dumb. This is wrong because this website/thread/etc. has explained it's not right", it's in most cases accepted.
Do you really mean slander? There could be legal implications, certainly there are slander (and libel for print and other media) laws here in UK, and I'm sure variations of the same in other countries. Completely agree (FWIW) that if a potentially contentious statement is made it must be backed up with evidence.

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)
Activity is updated every 30 minutes.
So basically the more you post and the longer you are here, the higher your activity number. In the first two weeks it cannot go above 14.

True story.
For all the newbs, the trust system was implimented so a select few here could give each other + trust so they would all look nice & trustworthy (even if their not). The downside is the system could also be used similarly in a negative way to paint someone in a negative light simply because they have 'differing business interests' for example. I personally know of individuals on this site who are very trustworthy yet have a lot of - trust. Dont fall for it newbs...
