Hi everyone, was this project a totally airdrop or half an Ico?
We did not do any ICO, just an airdrop 
Was there not even a pre-sale? Where did the $8m market cap materalize from then? Just from people buying up on exchanges?As far as I can tell from CMC, the market cap started around $2.5m, surely there were some early investors, like the dev team themselves?
I'm just failing to understand how the initial value got established in the millions, rather than the thousands.
Not complaining what so ever! Best airdrop ever. Just trying to understand the economics behind it all
yes, no ico, no presale. Because Hydro team already get some big clients to invest before bring hydro to the world.
ABout the marketcap, hydro had been listed on mercatox and coinex a week before listing on CMC, causing the volume you mentioned.

Thanks for the link, will check it out. Makes sense about the delayed CMC listing, but when you say already got some big clients to invest before Hydro was listed on exchanges, you mean they found private investors to invest in the project right? I don't understand how that's not a sale. Agreed it's not a pre-sale, if there's no public sale to follow, but it's still selling tokens to investors right as a sale? As I said I'm not complaining, just trying to understand the economics of the projects current value.
Okay, here is the how the marketcap is calculated in coinmarketcap.
Marketcap = Circulating supply x Current price of the coin.
It doesn't matter if the coins are bought by any private investors.
But in the medium page which was published by hydrogen few days ago on the coin distribution, it clearly mentioned that the current circulating supply is all the ones which was given free in the airdrop.
As of today's date, the circulating supply = 2,632,970,742 as per coinmarketcap

Riddle resolved.

Since its an undervalued coin, the price is expected to raise rapidly still it touches a $ after which many people will try to sell and can expect a market correction. After withstanding a $ for sometime, it will slowly climb up.

Usually I dont like to write about the price prediction, but in Zilliqa's case, I would love to write about it.
The price will reach 20$ easily when it moved to mainnet.
EOS's current price is around 20$, but Zil's supply is 12 times more than EOS, but performance and TPS are few 100's and 1000 times more than many other coins.
There are no proven coins in the industry which achieved 2500 TPS.
IF BTC is DoS and ETH is Windows 95, then Zill Will be Windows XP or Windows 7.
ETH has just announced that it is considering shrading concept and in future it may introduce in ETH platform, but then Zil had already implemented it and in the testnet it had achieved 2500 TPS. ETH will take couple of years or more to achieve this, by the time, Zill will have more cryptokitties and major cryptos moved to its platform.
Also Zil uses a native programming language and programming language which is advanced and fail proof but also easy to write, where as ETH and other platforms uses complex, week and old programming languages, which can never be changed as the platform is based on the language.
By all the means, Zil supposed to take over major coins and no wonder if it comes in Top 5 and surpasses 20$ to 40$ after September mainnet launch.

I'm wondering a bitDo your research and invest. Its a wonderful project. This is like buying ethereum couple of years ago. Most of the people here filled half of their portfolio with this coin. We are lucky early birds. This coin will definitely hit a dollar in future.

At present, Zilliqa is not good for the time being. Besides, the dealer has not eaten enough. Even if there is good, it will not necessarily pull.
An undervalued coin. Price should be minimum 10 to 20$
2500 tps is really a good number compared to just 2 tps with bitcoin. This will definitely in top five coins soon. Mark my words.

I think investing in this cheaper price would be a good bet, as it is already in decent exchanges and works are going by new team. Very few coins are in NXT platform.

Whenever I recommend Hydro to my friends, they are checking in Coinmarketcap and wrongly bought HOT (Hydro Protocol) instead of Hydrogen Platform? Is there any plans to change the name or to get listed in the Coinmarketcap?

Can the team take efforts to get it listed in the coinmarketcap? It will give more visibility. Because when we recommend this coin to our friends, they saw a different hydro from coinmarketcap and buy them. This leads the other hydro price to increase but not hydrogen protocol.

I was interested in one thing. One huge difference.
- Hydro team did not want to exchange and works hard on the product. He gave the world news without the big HALLO. (yes it is already in exchange)
- Other ICOs want money first and do not have a finished product yet!
For me the fundamental difference.
