Re: Can someone hack an encrypted wallet.dat?

Another question: how to make it impossible for keyloggers to log the password?
Thanks!
Log the password ? Not sure what it means.Use a good Aniti Virus software or key logger remover.Take precautions while opening suspicious links and downloading random files from the internet.Store all your private keys and important files offline ,don't ever save the files on the computer you use for daily browsing. Especially the one with good number of coins.Use cold storage.

Yep, good advice, thanks! Yet, it's hard to do with the PoS coin wallets.
I mean these should be online for staking. So, even if these are encrypted, there might happen some malicious software with the wallet.dat stealer and a keylogger. That's why I'm asking how to make it impossible for keyloggers to log anything?
Perhaps there is some universal method, some anti-keylogger?

The halving is coming soon now. when this happens the majority of the mining hardware will become nearly unprofitable.
Is there any new hardware already in production that will be profitable after the halving?

When halving happens btc price goes to $1k.

Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble?

A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.

The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.

Never gamble to get rich!

Re: Very new in trading but would like to make a profit

I have been around the Bitcoin area for quite some time but never really delved into investing in it up until recently.. I see there are alot of ways people are making there profit but I would like to make mine through trading but just dont understand it much.. any help or advice on how to start making it somewhere with BTC is greatly appreciated

buy low, sell high, repeat  Wink

But low is not possible every time, Sell high also happens only after holding for a long time. So earning profit through trading needs time.

One who wants to earn from trading has to watch the markets all the available time. That's the secret recipe. Nothing else.

any proofs?  Huh

Count all the BTCs traded daily on the market, compare it with the TOP amount of BTCs being traded. The TOP amount is bigger then the BTC traded a day, so they are creating a fake account so that they don't have to payout that 0.10 BTC. Prove 1.

More proof to follow.

Does it really mean they will be goxed or cryptsyed? Don't think so  Undecided
Why not ask them directly how it comes that top account makes more volume then all the markets combined?
Anything else? I'm kinda worried!
