Sorry for the noob question but at roughly what hashrate are people hitting blocks on a semi regular basis and thus making their operation profitable?

Any reason why you're prioritizing higher hashrate over efficiency? You need the machines to work long enough for you to break even and profit.

Efficiency is less of a concern with potentially free power

if he has 240 volts he can get an s17 cheaper set it to low and do 42th

I am in Australia. We only have 240v.

Which miner?

I have the possibility of a friend hosting a miner for me in a spare room at his business without being charged for electricity. Could someone recommend a relatively cheap (<=$1500) but powerful miner that would suit this situation. Obviously an emphasis on higher hashrate over efficiency. Thanks in advance.

Has anyone used swapzone.io? I'm trying to find out if anyone has had a good experience with swapzone.io. They seem to have been around a couple of years but surprisingly little info or reviews on them.

Failing that, could anyone suggest a reliable, anonymous crypto exchange to me? Thanks.

Are online miner stores on asicminervalue.com trustworthy?

I've been out of the loop with miners for a few years but would love to get back into it. I always enjoyed having new hardware turn up in the post, setting it up and having it make money towards the next bit of hardware. Unfortunately I got caught up in a scam a few years back and got fleeced of all my mining income. Bad decisions, bad luck. Anyways, moving on. I have been currently looking at asicminervalue.com and I like how things are laid out, showing you ROI on different units etc. When you click on a certain model miner, a big list of retailers comes up underneath. What I wanted to know from you guys is how trustworthy are these retailers listed there? Is it as simple as picking the best deal and paying up or am I going to check who is and isn't trustworthy? Is there another, better way to find good deals and trustworthy suppliers? I'd love to hear from you and thanks in advance for your input.

Canamprayer: Could you please PM your supplier's details? I'm in the market for a miner or 2. As a newbie on the forums, I couldn't pm you. Thanks.

I realize that the likelihood of discounts at the moment on Bitcoin mining hardware is probably fairly low but I'd thought I'd ask anyway. Does anyone know of any sales on Bitcoin mining hardware with black friday sales on the way? Thanks.
