As far as I know, TRST is added on MyEtherWallet.com as a custom token per default.
So you do not need to add it manually.
Click on "Show all tokens" and search for the ticker TRST.

Hi, I am the developer of the application. It is interesting to see the concerns of trusting and to be honest I actually understand it very well.

I already discussed it with the members of the TRI-project. And I thought about it during the development on how to solve and ensure a reliable trust level.
I came up with a few ideas, like a trusted entity or open-source. Up to a traffic sniffer for Android.
But every solution to ensure trust has its drawbacks.
For example the trusted entity has to review every damn update of the app. Possibly, but...yeah a lot of work. And then there is the question how far I can trust this person not to keep the code for himself.
Second Open-Source does not ensure trust/security, it improves it but not ensure it. If this would be the case, there would be no coin with a hidden premine or other flaws. The same goes for PoD, I have my own opinion about it.
As you see, I made some thoughts about it and I really understand the concerns, but I did not find the perfect solution.

A last remark, which I wrote also to other users of the app. If I would scam someone, I would simply release the -Coin. This would be by far more easy.

What is TRIder?

TRIder is a full functional mobile trading application for the crypto-exchange Bittrex. This means you can watch and trade on all your favorite markets from your Android device.

Features:

• see your balances
• see order history
• encryption
• more...

So to short it, TRIder have everything you need to trade on an exchange. As TRIder is part of the Triangles Project, you need to have some TRI in your balance on Bittrex such that trading on other markets is allowed.

The needed amount of TRI is calculated with the following formula:
Amount = ceil( / 0.05 )*0.5 + 4.5 TRI

Example#1: You have open orders with a total value of 0.132 BTC
You will need (0.132/0.05)*0.5 + 4.5 = 6 TRI
Example#2: You have open orders with a total value of 1.568 BTC
You will need (0.132/0.05)*0.5 + 4.5 = 20.5 TRI

Security:
If you want to trade with TRIder you need to enter your API credentials from your Bittrex Account. Please note that your API information is encrypted (with a password choosen by your own) and only stored on your device. This data is therefore not transmitted to third-parties. The used encryption algorithm is AES with Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) and the Password-Based Key Derivation Function 2 (PBKDF2). Please notice also, that TRIder does not require the "Withdraw" permission in the API credentials.

Status:
Currently TRIder is in an open beta phase. If you have feedback or requests for further releases, please write me a PM or write it here in the thread.

The application is already in the store. However currently only available for a testing group. This means you can not find it until I publish it to the public.
Wurstgelee got now an updated version and if there are no major flaws, I will release it for the community in the coming days.

Note about the amount of needed TRI:
If you want to trade on other markets than BTC-TRI you need a specific amount of TRI in your balance.
As long as the amount is not reached you have only the possibility to trade on the TRI market until you have the amount. After that you have access to all the markets.

The amount is calculated as following:

These are similar errors which I got on my Raspberry Pi. Sadly I did not find the reason for the assertion exception.

I contacted wurstgelee about the problem. It seems that the faucet has lost the connection with the wallet. So nothing to worry about. 

Some update regarding TRIder:
Tomorrow I will send Wurstgelee a new version of the application, such that he can test it a bit.
After this (short) test phase, I see no reason to not release TRIder in a first beta version for the community.

Yes, but this is mainly the case because one of my browser tabs is always bitcointalk.  

And also yes, I still work on the application. What I have done is that I had already a application which was okay. It worked and everything was fine as I (and Wurstgelee) tested so far.
However I was not totally satisfied with it: 1. The basis code layout was not good. 2. The usability was not as good as I wanted it, 3. the design have to be approved and 4. some methods went deprecated.
Therefore I made a new basis code and design layout, which can also be more easily extended with new features. Also I implemented some features from the new material design guidelines from Google.

So currently I am still porting the functionality from the old app to the new app.
Mainly there are only two things still missing:
The functionality to make and cancel orders - Should no be a great problem, as I already have the code
Finalize the design - I already have all the icons. However I still need to colorize them in the beautiful TRI-orange.
After this a closed testing phase (for around 1-2 weeks) will be started.

The faucet on my side http://triangles.noip.me/Site/Faucet/ will be online until the last TRI are claimed.

To speed it up and to produce some ambition, I will increase the winning amounts of the faucet.
0.01 => 0.05
0.02 => 0.07
0.05 => 0.1

Also the faucet will be reset, which means the counter (one claim per hour) is reset.

As I wanted to write that I can confirm this, a new block appeared. So on my side everything is fine.

Nice to hear. However I am stuck with the the Pi wallet. I tried now to build libboost (1.48) from source and installed it in a different location. Also I linked it explicit to these libs and deleted every old libboost*-packages. But it still gives me the assertion failure.
