I recommend you to diversify your investment since 12k USD is a lot of money to invest. I suggest you to hodl 50% of your fund in Bitcoin, 20% in Ethereum, 10% in NEO, 5% in Ripple, 5% in Monero, 10% in small marketcap altcoins or for ICO project.

First of all, can you tell us what tokens are you investing in because if it is a good altcoins like Ethereum or other popular altcoins in top 150 then you should be fine and HODL them until the end of this year. If it is a bad altcoins then you should sell them and reinvest in better alts.

I really like Bitcoin and Ethereum but investing in one or the other is great. For smaller marketcap altcoins I suggest you Maker, Syscoin, Santiment and SONM but you have to do your own research about theses altcoins before investing in and find a good entry price with technical analysis.

I think you are waiting for too long to buy ethereum, I think you should buy at 400 USD when it is the dip. Now it is still not too late to buy when it is still cheap since the market is bullish now so ETH price will not drop anymore.

In my opinion, it will be very hard for Stellar to get in the top 5 because we already have Ripple there and the top 5 coins right now have better technology,team and community than Stellar. I think Stellar will come back under NEO soon and the price is pumped right now.

I agree NEO is a great choice and I think it is better than ETH since it give you GAS for hodling unlike ETH. The only problem with NEO is the platform is quite new and not popular enough for ICO like ethereum. And I feel like most dev prefer to use ethereum smart contract for ICO.

I bought a lot of SONM and Ethereum during the last dip since I think SONM have a lot of potantial to surpass Golem. Right now, I am out of fund but I think my next altcoins will be NEO since this coin look great and I didnt have any China coin yet.

I think all your choices for a quick profit are not good for the short term because all are great long-term altcoins. I recommend you choose low marketcap altcoins for the short term because it will give you more profit. All altcoins from the top 100 to 200 are perfect for the short term since most of them can enter the top 100 in the near future.

My advice to you is to stop thinking about the short term and start investing in promising ICO or projects now. I think you should feel blessed to be able to buy bitcoin and altcoins very cheap in 2018 so you should take this opportunity now, you can thanks me later when Bitcoin hit 50k usd.

It is always a good time to invest in good ICO anytime in the year but it is not a easy task to find a great ICO to invest in and get in the whitelisk or presale. I always doing my own research before joining any ICO but the hardest part is to be able to participe in since great ICO have very limited spot.

If Bitcoin went to 7500usd again then I think you should buy it since I think it will be the last dip before 9000usd for short term profit. Personally I prefer to buy crypto when the market is red because it is cheaper and I feel like when the market is green the token look expensive.

I think choosing the right altcoin is not very hard, you can choose any altcoins in the top 100 coinmarketcap with few exception like TRNX or BCC.

The best way to make money in the current market is to buy the dip and wait for the bull market. I think a lot of new traders are afraid to buy the dip when the bitcoin price was 6600usd or other altcoins because they didn't believe in the blockchain tech.

I think my worst crypto investment is Synero because I thought it will be popular as steem but I was wrong because their team is the worst and they did nothing, I'm waiting for Synero platform for almost 2 years now and they still have not release any working product.
