Do you get better temps with the plastic off the Gfx card? I've been wondering if that will help, or hinder since I would think the designers meant for it to channel the ait thu the heatsinks..

as i see it, the additional cards with the dummy vga plugs only need pci-e x1 risers? is this correct ? can you please explain how this is?

My 3x5870 mining machine
using two power adapters (400W for motherboard+hdd and 600W for VGA adapters)
The case was small for third card, so I decided to cut some on the bottom with circular saw.

I currently have three dedicated rigs, two of them using this test bench:



I hadn't seen many builds like this yet so I thought I would share. It fits a full ATX mobo and large power supply and if you have a dremel tool you can easily carve out new holes to tie down cables to. The HDD/Optical mounts underneath but if you're like me you are just booting from USB.

I am going to be putting together another 2 x 6990 rig and have a third one of these test benches on the way. When I get home later today though I will post up my two 5850 builds. Cooling is as easy as setting them on a shelf by a window and putting a small fan in front of them on low to blow the air outside. That literally is all I need to do at this point. The bench is actually sturdy enough to just tote around by the handle you can see in the corner.

Works good man, and I'll get my actual builds pics up when I'm home from the 9 to 5.

Согласен, в последнее время на всем рынке происходит что то неладное вроде новость хорошая а курс падает(я сейчас не про sonm), думаю что кто то злоупотребляет инсайдерской информацией   Вам так не кажется?

If the beta release is in this month, when can we expect the public launch because that is the time we expect a full speed marketing plan to go along with it. And secondly the product is for countries where banking is tough and getting loans is not easier so wetrust would be needing people on the ground for it in these countries. What kind of steps would be taken for that?
