Hi

Hashrate on my Nvidia rigs (1080 and 1080ti) has decreased about 15% in the last year. I have to increase power limit substantially to get the same hashrate as before.

Does anyone have any explanation for this? what is the problem with Nvidia GPUs or maybe Ethash algorithm?
Most possibly rhe TLB is cached on two levels and as the DAG grows the first level can't hold all the records and the usage of the second level cache increases. The problem can be solved on driver level from Nvidia by increasing the virtual memory page size (introduce AMD driver's compute mode) thus decreasing the TLB records that are used.

Thanks for explanation.

1.55 to 1.57 hashrate dropped from 52 to 48 on GTX1080ti! went back to 1.55. really useless update. I wonder where and how he saw improvement.

Txbit should get listed on coinmarketcap as soon as possible. it helps Txbit a lot to receive some recognition. besides that currently XLR is showing zero 24 hour volume on coinmarketcap! this scare away any possible investor who is researching about this coin.

Impressive results from Claymore 14.4. hashrate is 5% higher than Bminer + pill

All this what happened afternoon surprised to some people those were not ready for it. This market is dependent on fiat money and all this small rally of excitement showed us once again that whenever big players will want move the entire market easily. Bullish or bearish are just terms for justification. Nothing to worry ETH still looking very good.

You are right. Yesterday just like many times before that, cryptocurrency market showed us whales are in complete control of this market. they dump and pump whenever they want just to maximize their profit and it makes this market for average people too much unpredictable and risky. crypto market should find a solution for this issue or it will die a painful and slow death.

People keep complaining about the price going down but many coins have taken a huge hit in the last 6 months, not just Solaris. Just think of the people that purchased BTC for $19k and now look where the price is, same goes for almost every other coin out there. Yes Solaris has so much going for it and the price keeps falling but again so do many other projects out there. People must remember that the run up for all cryptocurrencies was huge so the fall was to be expected and only the true projects with good long term goals will survive which I believe Solaris is one of them so I never pay attention to the price as it can make people upset and bring their moral down. Patience is the key when it comes to crypto and I think we have a way to go before we start seeing a recovery with the whole crypto market.

Most coins are down 75-97% ...

All of cryptos is in a bear market ..
Next bull will be epic tho.

That's right but I see people always complaining here about the price, there isn't much we can do if people want to keep selling their Solaris. In the next bull run people will be looking for solid long term projects and this is why I believe Solaris should be okay but until then we just need to be patient.

its almost simple math.

Even in 5 years from now ... there will be so few XLR around, they will practicly be rare.
While other coins are up in the 100s of millions coins.

This crazy low inflation of XLR and the rareity of the coins will make its market swing a lot, with possible crazy heights.

It's not entirely pure maths.
Having a low total supply count doesn't insure a good value for the currency.
A "cryptocurrency" must serve a purpose, and be active development-wise, otherwise it dies price-wise and it doesn't really matter if the total supply is 10.000.000 or 111.111.111.111.111.111
It's not just about low total supply. in my opinion Solaris is one of the most rewarding and promising coins in the whole cryptocurrency. it does not deserve such a dramatic price fall. now Solaris is only 4 percent of it's highest value. even some proven scam coins did not drop this bad.

am I the only one using ethminer? its capable of 54Mh if your overclock is, what is the benefit of phoenix/claymore? don't they have dev fees? why pay that if you don't have to

I dont know to be honest.  Its NVIDIA people.  Ethmine is updated all the time too.  I guess Claymore and Claymore Clone and Bminer are scratching their heads to why people use their software with nvidia cards.  I suppose it is *less* plug and play, or click to play.
Bminer is optimized for Nividia cards and fee is optional too. yes you can easily disable fee in the Bminer batch file. do you research first before commenting. honestly, I don't understand why people care so much about 1 or 2 percent fee. for me optimization and stability is much more important factor.

Or simply the end...

Bulwark had the very same course.
From a steady 15$ now stuck under 0.8$...

If Solaris goes back to 5$ or a little higher I'm sold.
If dApps and Smart Contracts were coming anytime soon, I'd say there's a possibility of a >10$ price again, but as is right now, no chance.
Even at $100, Solaris would be greatly undervalued. $10 is nothing for a coin with this much potential and so small total supply and even smaller in Circulation as most of Solaris is locked in masternodes.

Which eth miner is everyone having the best success with? Claymore 11.8 seems to be very flaky...
Use Bminer. you will never go back to Claymore again.

On bytom website, they are a partner of bitmain?

Cryptopia had a Bytom trading pair with BTC. I think its possible to trade it there.
Cryptopia only accept ERC20 tokens, not main net coins. seriously, not anyone tried to sell Bytom for once?

So what do you guys do with your mined Bytom aside from holding in wallet? is there any exchange that accept it? as far as I know exchanges only accept erc20 ones.

hello, i have msi seahawk gtx1080, pill works and getting 30mhs after i run the file and claymore. however any slight overclock (+50mhz) in afterburner makes mining crash. any advise please_ without it im able to overclock to +500 withut any issue. i understand it makes timings more agresive, however +50 crashes pc?  Huh
same problem here. with 1080ti I can add +550 MHz to memory without any issue but if I add even 5 MHz to any of 1080s, my PC crashes instantly! I guess it's becuse ETHlargement pill is currently more optimized for 1080ti not 1080.

Having problems here .....5x8x1080TIs (EVGA SC2), five identical rigs on Windows 10. (65,-100,650) They run great for 7-10 hours at 50MHz +/- and then the rigs disconnect from ethermine and cannot reconnect until everything is shut down and restarted.  Has anyone else run into this?  Using ethminer-0.15.0.dev4.

Currently lowering clocks to no avail as of yet.  It's driving me nuts.

Use 391.35 driver with Bminer. best driver and miner for me. 397 and newer drivers were unstable for me, my problem solved after I rolled back to 391.35.

So badly wanna see what the version for hbm memory on vega's can do.
But I guess I never will because of these whinny bitches that got the free version for Gddr5x.
Who is whining? Everybody is happy about this amazing gift. there are some feedbacks and problem reports which is essential in enhancing the software. I think you are the only one who is bitching here.

Solaris was doing was doing much better when it was POW. high expense of mining was preventing miners from selling cheap. owning a masternode or staking does not have much electricity cost or hardware Depreciation cost. people don't care about cheap prices they sell at whatever price they can because the coins are generated at nearly zero cost.

This works great on my 1080ti (52mh at 180w) but not that great on 2 1080s (31mh at 100w). even a slightest memory overclock on 2 1080s crashes my PC. is there any way to make this software only run on selected GPUs?
