And bitmain know the data was compromised since the first day and still no official statement.
Bitmain sent emails a few days ago to his customers telling about this:

I never received this email from Bitmain, I only got the scam email this morning.

Bitmain S9 not selling out fast? Why??
by

on 13/07/2016, 12:05:18 UTC
I noticed Bitmain put S9 batch 8 and batch 9 up for sale today 4pm Beijing time.. and 4 hours later they are still selling their 'limited' batches. Then I hear whispers that there are issues with these batches... ?? I thought they sold the first few batches out fully in 5 minutes or so.. so why the delay this time?

Please, share your thoughts.

I'm happy to chuck a few machines onto Megacoin.. I have a mixed mining setup here in Oz running in one of my solar farms.. can anyone recommend a decent and stable pool? what about a solo pool recommendation.. I'm happy to leave a node and a miner or two running in support of the various coins..

Well, 24 hours mining Swing with one Antminer S3 for a total of 45 coins.. worth a grand total of $0.37 AUD (australian dollars).

S3 uses 360 watts, electricity costs 22c/kWhr so i nominally used $1.90 with of power- but as I run my miners on solar PV that I otherwise sell to the grid at 1.3c/kWhr it didn't cost me much.

But the point is: how can people be attracted to this coin? Total coins created to date..converted to AUD means I could buy the lot for about $4k. Is this really just the very very beginning of the coin.. or is it going to follow the well trodden path to obscurity along with TIT coin etc..?

I'm happy to run a core and throw a miner onto it to help.. I just would like to know am i missing something about the coin and its prospects?

I'm with you @MickeyB
My wife just nods her head, smiles politely and often just says 'Show me the money not the bullshit'...
And then she reminds me of *ALL* the other things I should be doing with my time.
My 6yr old son is interested, helps me make PSU's for the miners while my 4 & 2yr old daughters will learn in time..  bit young. Hopefully they will enjoy the rewards from a stash of Btc and Alts in coming years...

I'm wondering about the repliers putting the decimal point in the correct place in the replies.. 0.002USD/kWhr means 0.2 cents per kWh which is insanely cheap..!

Here in Australia, flat tariff prices were $0.36/kWhr which is 36 cents per kWh.. though we had a price drop recently down to 27c/kWhr. We also pay a network access fee of $1.50 per day. 1 Oz dollar = 0.72 USD

With miners returning maybe 16c/kwhr then it is not productive to mine here.. I'm setting up my mining system to use my 400kW solar farm as I can't sell my power to the network for more than 6c/kWhr.

If you have power at only 0.2 cents per kWh.. can we be friends. I have a bunch of miners I can send over to run Smiley

I'm interested in chatting with you. I'm currently setting up a mining system in my 410kW solar farm here in Oz.

It's not so straight forward, and there are a great number of variables.. but I'm confident that it can be done. best way is to email me
