bitcoin falling consistently affects the altcoin, because with the sharp drop in the market people are selling their btc and how it affects other currencies because they are dependent on the price of btc.

Yes, in fact, mining is one of the cool things that the cryptos provide because not always tokens is stimulating, but it will be necessary for the market to absorb these coins or at the moment there is incentive to hold, surely the Genesis team is thinking about it!
