You must flash bios to 8g using ch341a or similar supported bios flasher.it will not flash bios on mobo. Get from techpowerup samsung bios. 1st try same brand bios samsung 8g it should work. good luck

Is it possible to flash BIOS on the card before changing the RAM chips?

Anyway fees will be near 0 when ETH network will increase by 100x. Vitalik announces it in july.

Funny thing is, 1559 is rolling out soon, but no one can tell with certainty how much will transaction cost. Some say lower, some say they will stay the same, but they will be predictable....
Only certain thing is fee burning, which drives the price up in the short term, because deflation hype.
So, if price doubles from now until 1559 implementaion (which is not impossible), transactions might actually cost more than today?

Really amazing work! Got my 580 4G back to 28 Mhs.

How will this behave over time, how much hashrate is lost with each DAG size increase?

I run it on HiveOS. Wrote a little script that sets the fans and the voltages and other stuff. Then it monitors the miner for crashes. It runs days, stable as a rock with 470 and 580 cards.
Very nice miner. Would not hurt it to be incorporated into HiveOS but it runs just as fine now.

Also if you undervolt it it has really low power consumption. Love lyra2z.

Mind sharing that script?

I see that those are the main Block finders :
aHBqmMiMzcHpYd9HSsGWnoLnA5GZ8Rn5KJ(F2Pool)
a69iYfxDwwuCnYdVKqscGSaLS2xfu6hDh5
aGbz8dk7XMs8ViqzTpJivVfZP7t5UmiQPG

What I don't understand is how F2pool finds most of the time 8~10 blocks in a raw!,  there is some serious block distributions problem(lyra2z bug or?).

P.S: I asked before if F2pool pays the Extra luck they get or miners only get what they should based on their hash-rate? there is no stat on F2pool and 4 me as a miner is hard to determine.

Edit: Another "Lucky" day with only 52% of the net hash-See 4 yourself:

https://s7.postimg.cc/7ddejlr97/F2pool51.jpg

146 GH/s out of total 246GH/s = 59% of hash on f2pool right now

https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks-date/2018-05-26
may 26 - blocks 88871 to 89028 = 157 blocks on that date (yesterday)
87 out of 157 found by f2pool which is 55% of all blocks found yesterday.

https://insight.zcoin.io/blocks-date/2018-05-25
May 25 - 89 blocks out of 146 found by f2pool, or 60% of all blocks that day.

Seems fine to me and corresponds with pools hashrate. I dont know how f2pool finds 8-10 blocks in a row, but they have majority of hashrate so nothing strange.

f2pool is PPS so you should get payed on shares submitted, you dont care how many blocks pool finds. Even if pools finds no blocks you get payed per shares submitted, hence the high fee 2.5%.  Also if pool is extremely lucky you won't get payed more - they keep it to themself.

It sucks f2pool doesn't have any statistics.

Re: [ANN] zFastminer-v2.3.3 Most Powerful And Profitable Zcoin Miner On Poolside!
by
NisamRobot

Seems like the miner exploits some bug on the server side that causes the hashrate/reported shares to increase without actually contributing to the network hash. This is why it doesn't work on other pools.
I got the same feeling. This theory also correlates nicely with the bad luck the pool has.

I would like to ask the dev to confirm or deny it Smiley

A week ago I was writing about it Wink https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3259259.msg36659425#msg36659425
and no reaction from dev.
Now MPH pool luck (un-luck Wink ) make mining XZC unprofitable. Sad

If I'm wrong, dev correct me.

that`s right, power of miner now is still numbers. no profit.

It's funny how devs never denied accusations on exploiting bug on MPH, bassically cheating people who use this miner on devfee.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3259259.msg34811411#msg34811411

This miner would never work on another pool. Guys, try using ccminer-tpruvot-225 for lets say 24 hours on f2pool and compare your income. It will be the same as using this miner on MPH minus devfee. That is a fact.

i wonder where xzc hashpower comes from, as it seems it`s non profitable to mine at current prices.
Any ideas guys?

Botnets

Actually zcoin is currently THE most profitable coin for AMD cards using tdxminer
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3299496.0

I get ~ 3.5 MHs per rx580, which is on par as 1080ti. It is linux only so maybe that is whats keepeng people away from it.

I know its OT, but can you guys tell me if you are able to OC under linux? I am having no luck OCing, core speed is set by system and i can not override that. I am using

echo "5" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_sclk_od
which changes nothing, according to amd-info
also
echo manual > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level
echo 7 > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_dpm_sclk
does not change dpm state, actually i can change it to lower but never to highest value (7).

I can change memory clock with
echo "5" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_mclk_od
but no luck with core clock Sad

I am using hiveOS, as root.

F2pool works same as yiimp, you put your wallet as username, autopayouts, and it has web statistics...

Mintpond is also very nice, haven't tried omnious.

Actually there are enough xzc pools: suprnova, f2pool, mintpond, bsod, omnious, zpool, and of course mph. It's just hashrate distribution that sucks, everyone mines on mph. I can't understand why. Suprnova has 0% fee, f2pool is PPS, mintpond  has great interface and statistics...
I guess people got used to mph.

F2pool might change this, it already has 70 GH/s vs MPH 98 GH/s....
