There has been many times that prices have spiked in december but not so much for the october. so in a way you could say it about the last financial month of the year, for that very reason

Re: Very soon we will see a new wave of market growth!!!

I believe in the cryptocurrency market and believe in its huge potential. Though now and not the best times in the market. But experienced investors understand that this is only a correction of the market, which is a consequence of the significant growth of the market before!  But I think that many newcomers now need support. I wish us all patience! Soon we will see a new wave of growth, there is very little!!! For those who are quite sad reminded that " those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»
Nice, there you got a little merit for this positive thinking. it is always interesting to predict something about the future through the past experience. or something like that Cheesy

Re: Worst year of trading for me damn
by

on 07/11/2018, 13:47:31 UTC
So after the bearish market came
I've been holding more alts than BTC/ETH

Coins like COSS, NANO, CND and etc
I been making loss and missing out most of the pump because i sell these coins and convert it to ICON (ICX) which i waited it to be move
So basically after everytime i sold my specific alts, few days later it went 100%   Shocked

NANO, bought at 0.011 ETH i sold at 0.005 ETH, 7 days later, it went up to 0.013 ETH. Hold for almost 6 months and sold, it went up after 7 days.
Same to NANO, COSS

Everytime i sold, within days to 1/2 week
It pumped like crazy

Just like COSS
Sold off 100k at 28 ETH last week
Today 100k COSS priced at 53 ETH

Holy i been making huge losses in 2018  Cheesy Sad Shocked Cool Cool
Maybe you want to re phrase it, best year to learn in crypto? Cheesy
imho, it feels almost always the same to me. i try not to trade anymore. just when i really have need for something..

it should be a worldwide blackout to affect all the masternodes. unless you manage to do that, nothing really happens

it always depends. for example the project i promo with signature, i trust in the team behind it. but i like this brand new project SAVLE that aims to be for the community, so their success depends if they attrack critical mass of people behind it

Re: How can the global crisis affect crypto?
by

What do you think will happen to the crypto market if there is an economic crisis around the world?
This topic is very interesting for me, so I would like to hear your thoughts.

It can either win a lot and prices go through the roof or it means people loose trust in crypto and most alts die out and overall crypto will fall back like 6-7 years

So what would we do? Prepare to sell all altcoins to make a big dumping or continues hold? you say what we have known, but if we invest we must accept to lose.
From what i understand from OP:
dump the alts, cash out before others do, buy btc and eth after the mess is over Cheesy buy into alts that survived and let the circle continue..

I started wondering what could be the new aliases for all those legendary members that have been banned in the past.
I'm sure "Goat" or later "El Cabron" could not resist to make a comeback with new account (and is that also banned and an other comeback etc)

I have seen lately so many "amazing" crypto this and crypto that ideas. So i decided to create a nice idiotic one by myself too..
when will we get our very own crypto pets!
i need one...I used to have a dog, but now she lives in other country. my ex took her. with a proper blockchain solution no one can take my pet away from me anymore

Re: ERC tokens for Dummies
by
Nisharawal
on 31/10/2018, 09:19:25 UTC
Hola!

can you do also
ERC223
ERC621
ERC827
or these extensions are way too little to give them extra attention

As an amateur user I was always confused about all these ERC* tokens. I knew only ERC20 standard and could not understand why we need to make all these crypto things so complicated. And yes, I was Dummy.

So I tried to dig deeper and started studying all these complicated pieces of information. And now I want to help such people as myself to learn something new and save some time.

ERC20 - is specifically a fungible, smart contract enabled token that can easily be developed by a third party. There are a lot of such tokens and a lots of people owe them. If you have 1 ERC20 token and your friend has 1 ERC20 token and you make an exchange - nothing will happen. You will be the same proud owner of 1 ERC20 token.

The reliability and flexibility offered by ERC20 help it slowly but steadily grow to engulf most of the market.

ERC721 - is a unique non-fungible token. A non-fungible token allows for assigning an immutable identification to a non-physical object.

Remember Crypto Kitties? Yes, your cute kitty is ERC721. It is unique. It has unique price. If you ever make an exchange with your friend you will get another object. Nobody has the same kitty as yours.

Users appreciate the transparent collectible creation system and invest accordingly.

ERC1155 - allows to assign items (ERC721) to a class.

Items that are identical in game can be combined as a fungible asset, while still allowing unique items to be traded on their own.

I hope this information helped you to understand ERC tokens better.

P.S.

I’m still Dummy and I’m ok with it =)
