Thanks for the valuable topic you have created. I agree with you on almost all points you have mentioned here. But I may not agree with you on some. You said that only established coins listed on CMC top ranks are worthy of investment. But there are many unexposed gems in the market that are not listed on CMC top ranks and which are likely to rise multiple times in the future as compared to established coins. Investment in established coins is good only for long term (7 to 10 years).

Surely the exchange where you have created an account is responsible for the loss of your coins. You should also share some amount of the problem as you should conduct a research beforehand since mostly bad exchanges have been hacked. You get your loss recovered if the hacked exchange is reputed and good.

So what? I want to make clear that almost all people involving in cryptocurrency want to hold bitcoin and ethereum as they consider them to be real and worthy of holding for long term. More than one year means you want to say that price of BTC and ETH would not increase until that period? If so, you are wrong. Prices of BTC and ETH have started increasing.

Your advice is so traditional. It is okay to invest in established and reputed coins, which means securing your investment. But for me, I follow there is no gain when there is no risk. Risks provide more opportunities and profits. So in the case of cryptocurrency, I want to suggest that you take some level of risks to get profits.

For me, it is always safe to buy and trade coins of trusted projects. What you need to get profits is you should have trading knowledge. Many people do not know how to trade, thus resulting in a loss. You can find tutorials on the internet about it. On market situation, the market is predicted to be getting better over time with the adoption of cryptocurrency.

The best way is to participate in campaigns to earn free tokens. If you do so, your investment will not be at risk. There are many ways of earning free tokens like bounty campaigns, airdrops or mining. Or if you want to invest in IEO, you should choose trusted project and then go for it. Investing in pre ICO or ICO in a good project is also profitable.

I do not know exactly why crypto projects without ICO are doing well. But in my opinion, crypto projects funded by people's money are less serious about implementing their ideas and technologies than self-funded projects. Self-funded projects do hard work to make them a success as there investment in in the projects.

I do not know exactly what is going on here. Any project, reputed, can be a scam. But it is not appropriate to accuse any project without any proof. We can see here that most of the people are not agreed with you. So accusation is a big thing and to establish accusation, substantial evidences are required. For me, selling all your altcoins just for bitcoin is a wise decision. In fact I am also planning to do so. It is not just bitcoin halving that is luring me to do so. It is just I have realized that bitcoin is the only coin that will be in demand for years. And there is no doubt that price of bitcoin will increase or remain stable. But never go down like altcoins.

Bear market is bad for those who only hold coins waiting for right time to sell. But ironically, their right time, the time when price of their coins reaches high than their investment price, will never come. Bear market does not affect trading. People involving day to day trading can benefit or suffer loss as much as from bear market. 

It is up to you whether you should trust youtuber or not. But youtubers have always personal opinion or they are assigned by any entity. So there is less chance of them releasing their objective views on anything. Regarding price of exchange coins, most of them have shed almost 70 percent of their ICO price.  

Wow, I am waiting for bitcoin halving. I believe this halving will help surge the token in price. Likewise, other events in 2020 will surely attract investors. Countries knowing importance of cryptocurrency and its adoption is another exciting move in the space of cryptocurrency.

It is a good idea to diversify your investment into many coins rather than focusing your investments into one particular coin. You cannot say that a good coin at present can remain good in the future. It means the crypto market is competitive and new coins are coming in and any new coin can replace so called good one.
