As others have said AM is just the front end to the mining software.  I had a similar issue last night on ahashpool where one of my rigs said it was earning 6000 dollars a day.  Obviously I wish that was right but the miner software itself was the culprit.

So I just tried dual mining with claymore and my eth hash dropped from ~30 m/h straight eth, to 17 m/h (eth) when I added pascal.  Is this a config issue on my side?

xeminer, have you got any comment on the missing balances?

please send me address . I remove the miner. When there is a new block they only exploit a little time. then all goes

I understand this, however, it had been two days since finding a block, i had not disconnected. I go offline to fix a fan issue, then have everything removed after 19 hours.

I do understand you are trying to stop pool-hopping, but you are making it *VERY* uninviting to mine here. I am a small miner, my MH are low compared to what is normally on there. But, i stuck in there and you penalize me for it.

At my current rate it will take me another 2 weeks or so to hit the minimum, time which i do not want to spend on your pool. I am unsure how much actual pending balance i had, but im sure its not going to be worth sending, however, if you feel you want to, the address is below.

0x5c641abb4ba44cd185328d227b21629f8e36687c

You have confused the address?. I do not see your address  put in my data

You are right, apologies. Correct address below.

0xd8052ea31c16497387c7660f623ecb252dd0a03a

yeah. I remember that you are not mining enough to pay.
But I have sent you a balance before. I have now switched to PPS pool. So I do not need to do the same thing again.

ETH received, thank you Xeminer.

I wish you the best for your pool.  Good luck.

I'm glad you got your eth.  I think this admin is just trying to hard to keep pool hoppers out and is overaggressive in deleting shares from miners he feels are gaming the system.  I probably got caught up in that, but it left a bad taste in my mouth so I moved on.

I had a similar issue at this pool, I disconnected this morning because I felt shares disappeared randomly and/or were not credited correctly.

please send me address . I remove the miner. When there is a new block they only exploit a little time. then all goes

I mined for a week straight.
So are you saying you remove miners shares if you feel they did not mine long enough?
One night I was looking at stats and I had ~2% share and 10 minutes later I had 0.07
I know shares go up and down with pool hash but things did not change that much that fast.  I've moved on, just wanted to let others know to watch their shares in case they mine here.

Out of curiosity, what was your hashrate No.15?

Mostly between 450 and 500 m/h's

you could try www.ahashpool.com as well.  I have used them, zpool, nicehash and hashrefinery.  Overall I stick with ahashpool , but the others worked fine for me as well.

I'll give $2000 for 10 of the 1060s.  They are used, who knows how much you BIOS modded and overclocked the hell out of them.  I insist on PayPal for buyer protection, and / or escrow from here.  PM me.

Do you really expect us to believe that you voluntarily cut them back to 70% power?  I think you're lying.
I'd highly advise you not do business with this guy cashen..

I agree, cashens' for sale post does not inspire confidence in me.  It sounds like he is getting rid of his old GPU farm.

I don't think he was talking about cashen  Roll Eyes

I had this problem once in boinc where 1 card would not be detected by the program.  I had to go into the bios and set "decode above 4g" to on (not auto) and they all worked after that.

It is a shot in the dark but it may be worth trying.

Can you help me understand how miners are exploiting a pool?
by
No.15
on 01/02/2018, 22:30:34 UTC
Hopefully this is the right section.

I have been mining on a pool for a couple of days now, it's a smaller pool and for a few days I was always in the top 10 with around 300 MH/s

In the past few days some giant miners have been coming in with TH/s of power, which in my n00b mind was a good thing.

It seems the admin of the pool does not feel the same and has been accusing these miners of exploiting the pool.  I am not 100% sure why so I thought I would ask.

To add more info, I think what they are doing is dropping in and out of the pool.  I can understand the admin want's miners to stick around, but is what the big miners are doing considered shady?
