Is this the OpenAI's token?

I've just seen the news but don't have much information about it. So, I just looked at the few details that I may be interested with. I think if the developer of it which is part of OpenAI doesn't have a name.

There's not going to be much attention on it because even before them, there have been a lot of AI projects already launched before.

Yes it is, actually yes the head of OpenAI is Sam Altman as avikz said

World coin, it seems as very perspective. But what is about of it future listing. Where will this token trading? Also, I didn't find any info about main features of WorldCoin. Please, give the url, where can I read more about this coin
The token is already trading on few top CEXes including Binance and particularly Bitget who seems to have healthy liquidity and reward campaign to celebrate its listing.
The OP also seems to have highlighted the main features of the project and i suggest you visit their website for further info since url sharing isn't allowed here.

The project got so much hype for having Devs of ChatGPT and also the free tokens of the ORB (if you were lucky to encounter one on the streets of your country). By the way the second CEX has a deposit event to share 15K of WLD so if you want to trade the token, that is a solid option.

Re: The hypocrisy of the UK on Cryptocurrency

I think the UK government strengthened the rules because of the FTX incident; this is a lesson learned. We should select some secure exchanges like Coinbase and Bitget.
The FTX incident likely raised concerns about security and regulation. It’s crucial for users to prioritize safety and use reputable exchanges like Bitget.

Safety should always be a priority when dealing with cryptocurrencies. By choosing secure exchanges, we can protect our assets and contribute to the overall stability of the crypto market.

Yes, Bitget also disclosed their protection funds just like Binance.

It's unfortunate that such incidents can impact the industry's reputation. Choosing trustworthy exchanges is a responsible decision that can protect users from potential risks.

Everyone is aware that ICOs are no longer a thing today. But if there are still prospect ICOs that you think are good enough, I just hope that they're for the actual project and not just about the short term profitability of it.

The matter from these ICO projects, if there have been a hype that's being made. Then, you can expect that it's life isn't going to be longer as expected.

Other than that, people do try to avoid most of these ICOs anyway today because of how they performed badly on 2018 bear market and not just that. Many of them turned into a scam.

For that reason (scam ones) we must DYOR, the problem here as well is to follow the instructions of Content creators blindly. Personally, I go into ICOS that are with high expectations (there is tags on that platform) and are in pretty solid hosters like Coinlist.

In 2019-2020(after the crash of the COVID) I saw plenty of projects that anyone that had the lucky to enter got huge rises. I know that now is not a thing (bear market stills here) and the Airdrops are more popular (even in that you have to invest something or even more).

And I know that the most experienced ones and older users here should know (for not say must) this kind of platform but also I am seeing more newcomers and "The public is renewed"

Thanks for comment!

I think icodrops is a well-known site for ICO already even before and this forum is likely aware of it. Well, these days I think alpha thing is getting shared across twitter community already, it's not just about the upcoming launchpads but there are lot of other stuff too like airdrops and other free stuff, even the ordinal craze some of those happens to be free.

I think most projects today do rely on VCs and we may see other still doing the public ICO but for me it already slowed down in terms of adoption.

I guess, a great part of this, is due to the Actual sentiment of the Market. The Ico was a banger in Bull seasons, but now I am finding again some strong ones(that also have airdrops incoming) Zksync and layer zero I discovered first there and later the proper Airdrops (well possible airdrops because SUI is a case that didn't have one)

Where to Look for ICOs (and speculate with the prices)

Hi guys I didn't find a topic in this category about this, and in an upcoming Bullrun, this might be one of the best ways for speculation for upcoming projects. ICOs or in general terms Initial Offerings were huge before 2022 with tokens like $DAO, and platforms like Coinlist getting strong uses and valorization. But where to find or spot these ones early, well my best tool is this webpage https://icodrops.com/. The page grew a lot and is more and more info since the beginning. On this page, I found tokens like Goldfinch, Solana in its Moment, IMX, and more. Now the platform shows you (if it's possible) where is going to be the ICO and a solid overview of the project, chain, and most important the rate of hype of this one (you also can filter from Higher Interest ones).

Now one of the Highest Ico Drops scores is Ensofinance (at least the upcoming ones, LayerZero has the highest but is not a launch date yet).

Hope this info results useful and if you have more pages like this one, or a better one, be free to share it

DOGE is practically the money of the people, or how actually the Paper money works. If the people accept is going to worth. In terms of decentralization I go with BTC and one not so known token that some people might find risky $ARRR from Pirate Chain

Re: What do you think about pepechain's PC token?

PC token that available on bitmart is an old token listed in MAY 2022 and is down 99% the listing day. It seems to me that these are 2 different tokens with the same ticker. Check it out so it doesn't turn out that you're not holding what you thought. besides, saying that something that has grown x1000 is "safer" just because it's listed on a junk, shady exchange is a logical fallacy.

By seeing the info of the OP I guess is talking about PepeChain, which is a some way of Dogechain. A Memecoin indeed which can make great profits but well is risky (The token has a pretty good community tho something important for this ones)

It all depends on what are you looking for. If you want to have more ownership of your assets you might use DeFI (but you have to be really careful because most scams are there due the anonymity) If you want to make future trades and need/want to make paper money for your needs (mainly because a lot of countries do not support crypto transactions or are hard to find) you should use an Exchange. I also know that a lot of people are worried about the constant lawsuits or restrictions of some CEX and the binance exits of this year but this is not going to last forever
CEX for me will always have the edge over DEX for obvious reasons be it security needs, support or other services. However it is rather disappointing to see several top CEXs facing a lot of challenges at the moment. But like you said I hope it doesn't last forever cause their communities are getting fed up already.

I agree but we have to be very careful about what we are getting, also I found a lot of Apocrif/Fake CEX and DeFI webpages so security is still an issue. in my part of the globe cold wallets are really expensive as well and the last issue with Ledger was disappointing

I personally use both, but more bitget in the last few days due to the KYC in a lot of countries. And in LATAM the Tax Department are harsh and I do not have to do it for trades (and Messi is the face so I have some kind of emotional link with that). Is good to have other alternatives but I do not think these attacks on the great CEXs will prevail. All of them are a huge source of wealth for the governments if they are smart enough

Re: Newbies can't profit from crypto without knowing how to trade. Truth or Myth?
by
Nonstopspider
on 17/07/2023, 14:09:04 UTC
I overheard my coworkers discussing the idea that new investors in crypto cannot make profits without possessing trading skills.
You must have basic knowledge and skills for buying and selling which are helpful for your investment but don't use buying and selling for your trading. At least you must use Buying and Selling orders without mistakes.

Market Order vs. Limit Order: What's the Difference?

Investment is better and safer than trading and if you invest in a safest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, you will have profit. If you invest in altcoins, I am not sure about how you end with them. Most of altcoins will bring losses to you, not profit because most of altcoins die with time.

I agree that investing is safer than trading, but it is profitable if you have a cold mind and you studied. I am more the one that invests in Spot, Trading requires also a lot of mental health.

On the other hand, you can find other ways to make profits with Pools or programs in Defi or Exchanges that generate passive incomes, it is slow but you can reinvest them and keep generating more and not have your assets idle.

Some platforms also have events that are not that guaranteed but it can be profitable with low investment (I qualified, for example, to Aptos and Arbitrum ones)

Re: Canadian debit on-ramps?

AFAIK, most exchanges pretty much use the same third party to provide on and off-ramp services. KuCoin, Bitget, Binance, ByBit, etc. all seem to use Simplex or Banxa so there's probably not that much difference between them.

How about using Interac-e or Wire transfers? Not an option?

Well, with the mentioned above I have faster and non-issues at all so I can tell that is pretty legit. With Wire and other ones, I had some "issues" to be charming in the adjective.

Re: Ordinals/BRC-20 Tokens
by

#Ordinals hashtag is one of the top trending on Twitter and $ORDI was listed again today and got a positive reception for CEX users we have incoming another one called BIP1 on the Bitget launchpad, the first BRC-20 token on the Ordinal Chain.

Personally, I think that can be beneficial for both, Bitcoin can attract more investors (And not only the ones who want to save or fight the inflation rates of Paper money) and relieve some of the Transit of the Ethereum NFT market if these are successful. As other said in this post, are quite experimental but can be a new additional value
