SOOOOO.  Looks like delisting from Bluetrade which had a solid 70% of the DAPS TOKEN market.  There is STIX left for crypto to DAPS conversion.  That is all.  I truly hope the drop of Bluetrade due to security risks and control doesn't bottleneck this coin.

We need more markets, not less.

Hello team,

1.  How does one find the DAPS group in Discord?

2.  I thought I read that DAPS is Scrypt based for mining.  What mining pools are operating for this?  Is DAPS mining ASIC friendly?

Thank you

With other pools, I am used to difficulty being based on 2^n formula.  Therefore 2^13 = 8192.  2^12 = 4096

Standard format then was name.worker_diffXXXX

I am not sure what d=0.01 or d=0.0001 represents or how I would represent that with this pool for an Antminer.

Is there an Admin here that can solve this?

Now you can set starting difficulty value by typing like "d=0.01" at worker's password.

This would help big hash miners to catch up to its own hardware limit faster than ever.

1. Run your miner program and check your difficulty value.
Keep in mind that difficulty value must be stabilized.
We recommend you to get difficulty value at least after 10 minutes of mining.

2. Set this difficulty value to worker's password as "d=XXXX"
   ex) d=0.0312
Do not write this value to miningpoolhub's worker page, just write it at miner configuration file.

3. Now run your miner program again.
You will see your miner running at the difficulty value you typed.

4. Difficulty value can go up and down again. It's not a bug.
d=XXX just gives us hint at start and it doesn't enforce diff value to be fixed.

Far wrong diff value may corrected automatically, but you'd better write optimized value.

Big hash miners who are using rentals, multi-algo, ASIC would get better result with difficulty hint.

Can you please give an example.

Noob.555_diff8192?

Like this?

Do you happen to know how to calculate/modify the difficulty in Mining Pool Hub (MPH)?

"""Sorry that I'm still working to improve the help page.
Added some FAQ page few days ago but I still think it's not sufficient.

12001 - endpoint for scrypt algo. For experts.
17001 - scrypt algo auto switching port. Just connect and start mining!

17001 is for whom want just simple coin switching for only one algo. It's best for ASIC.
If you have Scrypt ASIC, it will not need to switch between algo.
Connecting to 12001 is also good, but that will need miner to set each worker's job to Scrypt. But By connecting 17001, it's all done.
This port does not deal with "My Hub Workers" page at all, so you can't change mining coin or switches on the website.
Less customization, but simple.
These 17001 like ports may be also useful with other mining software which deals multi-algo switching on their own.

We will add help page soon, with some images.

Thanks."""

OK.  I want to mine Verge and only Verge.   120XX and 170XX keep jumping to Gamecredits.  Can you explain how to just pick one coin for my ASIC (Antminer L3+)

Also...these run about 260K difficulty.   How and what setting would you use for this performance for difficulty?

Thanks

Good morning.

I would appreciate some assistance with my difficulty setting.  I am running two Bitmain Antminer L3+ and am interested in mining Verge (XVG).

I am using my name and worker properly. They do show up as active.  I am using the following setup:

Myl3.111
Myl3.222  (not real info)

stratum+tcp://hub.miningpoolhub.com:17001

I am not mining anywhere close to estimates from WhatToMine.  I know this is an estimator but still it is substantially lower by 25-40%.

Miner 1:  Diff 272k    Accepted 26     Rejected 00    Discarded 276
Miner 2:  Diff 238k    Accepted 59     Rejected 00    Discarded 752

TMP Dashboard estimates:   966 MH/s

TMP POOL stats:
966 MH/s   416 XVG estimates

So...what is wrong here?  Did I use the wrong stratum?  This is ASIC?  How do I setup the difficulty to improve outputs?

Thank you in advance

I have played around with the _diffXXXXX game and agree.  Currently the _diff8192 seemsto produce the best ratio of accepted to rejected shares.  Plus the S/s ratio is also best.

Took me a while but these numbers reflect a 2^n for selection purposes.    In this case 2^13 = 8192.  So you can experiment with different "n" to get your numbers.

BTW. I am running Antminer L3+.

As for the site.  I am not pleased with the "pool" tab.  For some reason my 1GH/d hash shows only 61 DGB/day   I know this is false since I am generating around 300/day.

Still, Whattomine (an estimator) says it should be closer to 400/Day.  I am more than open to anyone who can explain this large disparity.

First of all I really appreciate the help.  I have tried googling just about anything and the "guide" at TBF is lacking at best.

Maybe these two pictures can better prove my frustrations:  Oops.  Looks like I need to be a junior member to add pictures.

So...this is what I see with my workers.  Please comment if you see anything there.

difficulty   Active   Valid hahsrate   Invalid hahsrate   Sharerate

32768    Y        439.04 MH/s        2.39 MH/s(0.54%)    0.2 S/s
65536    Y       539.26 MH/s         0(0%)                   0.13 S/s

This is the real kicker as this is what I see in the Pool Stats:

Rank   User Name   Valid hash   DGB/Day    Blocks found
1   ndl01           54.88 GH/s    34077.24   144

N/A   Crypme   1.07 GH/s    216.850   0

You can see I am one fifth the hash of #15 BUT I should be producing therefore around 600 Digibye per day even in the estimate.  So something is out of wack.

I am using the following:
Crypme.555_diff65536    (password changed)

Good afternoon.

I have been playing around with difficulty but still look like I am producing a very low output.  I am running TWO Bitmain L3+

_diff2048 is current setting.

Devices   difficulty   Active   Valid hahsrate   Invalid hahsrate   Sharerate
4       131072    Y         440.36 MH/s       12.07 MH/s(2.67%)    0.06 S/s
4      61400    Y         638.63 MH/s       33.91 MH/s(5.04%)    0.18 S/s

Block          Payout
5797110    1.92171727

I would appreciate any assistance with this as well as an explanation to the group if possible.

Whattomine says my daily mining for Digibyte should be 700-800 Digibyte.

Blocksfactory says: 933.09 MH/s    181.012 Digibyte per day.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Mining scrypt coins with Antminer L3+

There are some Scrypt pools that don't work well with high-capability ASIC miners, though fewer than there were 2 years ago before the Innosilicon A2, KNC Titan, and Alcheminer showed up.

The L3+ is NOT "specialized for Litecoin", it is specialized for Scrypt mining.

TheBlocksFactory should work well for you as a DGB pool on Scrypt.

DOGE - don't bother, it's a merge-mined coin not worth mining it on it's own.

I forget what pool I was using briefly to mine GAME.

Good evening.  I am seeing extremely low low low performance at the blocksfactory.  This is in reference to using Bitmain Antminer L3+ running scrypt and mining Digibyte.

My target used:

stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:9004

I am seeing something close to 20% acceptance or less on the miner results.  Any help with this directly would be appreciated.

Thanks

Can someone please assist with pool mining at theblocksfactory.com with a Bitmain L3+ ASIC running Scrypt.  Yes, Not a SHA-256 but they do have a link for Scrypt.

I am NOT getting good results.

Setup:
stratum+tcp://s1.theblocksfactory.com:9004

Status    Diff    GetWorks    Priority    Accepted      Nonce#    DiffA#    DiffR#    DiffS#

Alive        65.5K   145            0             159                         58,196        15,532,032    458,752      0

   5               1,232         0           65,536    0:00:03

159/1232 is a really low number.

You'll need to put your address (NOT YOUR PRIVATE KEY) into a "verge" block explorer... try googling "verge block explorer"

OK.  Now for VERGE only:

How do you access or drain this paper wallet?  I know you have to scan or input your PRIVATE address but what program(s) do you use for this?

For VERGE, will this scan then drain the paper wallet?  I have heard some coins pull immediately somehow and some are just accessing the wallet to allow for transfer of some or all.

I want to be exactly sure how things work for VERGE, not Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.

Thank you in advance.

Estimated Rewards is how many coins per day you can expect at the current difficulty, if it were to stay the same (it won't). It's based on the hash rate you put in and your power costs don't affect it.

Estimated Rewards 24h. is the average number of coins per day you can expect based on the average difficulty over the past 24 hours.

Thank you very much for that clarification.  I understand the site is only an estimate.  It would be nice if they could add a summary page or a "Q" near the column headings to get definition.  Maybe a future revision.

Cheers!

What I really want to understand is the variation between the following columns:

Est. Rewards
Est. Rewards 24h

I tried putting electricity to zero (free) and these numbers didn't fluctuate.  Some times one is higher than the other.  It really doesn't make sense.

Thanks
