well this coin shit the bed (worse) than others Sad
lol

Quite bad, but I'm looking at many worse lol. In terms of overall returns we are still above donation phase price, many projects are so far under theirs..

EK is still here developing Elastic and making progress, so that's the main thing.

Is there still hope around here; its beginning to appear more like a dead fish in the water; what happened here? Been holding for sometime now hoping the value would go up; but unfortunately no; I am begin to assume that my coins will remain worthless. I am well aware that the market is experiencing a crash but this is too bad, bought at above $1 and the current ex. rate is $0.07, heard that; $0.07. Devs should do something; also update the website on CMC; still linked to https://www.elastic.pw/

The devs for any crypto have near zero influence on the value of their token once it is traded by the public. "I am well aware that the market is experiencing a crash but this is too bad" As long as there are traders still in profit, there are still sellers so although the price for many cryptos are low they can still go a lot lower. If this drop is really affecting you I would stop looking at the daily prices for a few months to a few years.

Sucky that Golem continues to climb and Elastic continues to drop, does this mean people see Golem as the better project? I am much more invested into Elastic personally.

There is room for both projects, I'm biased but I think Elastic will do just as well in the long run!

Waiting for the right moment to jump this ship.
Hopefully market is about to get stable again.
I have owned XEL in its early days
and seems like getting back in it now would be perfect timing  Cool
firstly, XEL should increase its volume. Because with a small volume we can not see XEL going to the moon.
And Bittrex will delist it if the volume continues to decline.

And you seem to be late to buy it because it should last month when the price is at the bottom.
Now it seems Bitcoin will move again and altcoin will fall again like a few months ago.

Seems like a generic signature campaign shitpost but I'll reply: Bittrex won't delist XEL for volume alone and I'm not sure why people think that Bittrex delists any coin that drops under 10 BTC instantly. When it spikes every few months the volume is usually 1000+ BTC and then it falls back to lower levels, it is the same with 80% of other alts on Bittrex.

All altcoins are very stable today.
Does anyone know why there is no movement of altcoin Huh
This is very confusing to me.

I know the EXACT reason why altcoin prices move the way they do, I am offering a master class for guys like you soon.

When I launch my 'program' I'll PM you a discount coupon for my 10 masterclass series, just use the coupon code , "Hey hey heeeeeeeeeey" for a special discount.

If you're interested in my advanced premium program for high wealth individuals use coupon code,
"What's-a what's-a what's-a what's-a what's-a what's-a what's-a what's-a what's UP"

You seem like somebody who is independently financially independently.

At a serious guess is everything is stable/slight moving up because traders aren't sure what is going to happen with Bitcoin and are waiting to see how it pans out. Most of the sellers exited a long time ago and after dumping to lows smart money is accumulating quietly in preparation of an alt bull run.

I see you are still on slack.
How about migrating to discord? It's much better as a platform. Slack is quite horrible tbh.

I would prefer Discord as well, much better than Slack.

If BTC goes up again I'm sure XEL will pump at least 4500 satoshi.
Today there is a fast pump that the whales do.
It proves that XEL the next few days there will be a good signal.

Sorry about the pump. But tjere is no whale incoming pump

There's a pump on Golem too, so it looks more like a quick super-computers pump and dump, rather than related directly to XEL  Smiley
Similar to XEL, Golem has much higher volume too.

Or maybe it's serious now, since XEL has it's tested and Golem is approaching Brass
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1655002.msg34247334#msg34247334

Unsure if accumulation causing temporary spikes then returning to previous levels is considered a pump, but volume and price swings for supercomputer projects in general is always a good thing for exposure.

I had XEL. I believed in it. Sold. It's dying.

How is that working out for you?

If you reached such conclusion it is good to see you go. There is not need to try to convince anyone of anything, especially when simpletons release feeble minded statements.

Personally I think it is always a good idea to sell near an ATL, because obviously as Elastic becomes more developed in the future the value per token is likely to go down more to new ATLs and not up to ATHs. /s

XEL is no pump and dump, this is a long term hold.

Elastic need more exchanges and also need motivate people to participate this project.

it may have a big picture as IPFS.

XEL awailable on Bittrex, but of cource, more exchanges can attract more people to this project. And for this we need constant marketing efforts of the team itself.

I don't think there is any point really to market in this Bear Market because everyone is gone.
Specially If BTC goes down to 4k, It would be standing out with a XEL Marketing Flier on an empty street and a sand storm and you hear the last person run in their house and shut the door lol.

but jokes aside sometimes It is a good idea to start the marketing set up or accumulate coins while everyone is gone.  Cool

matchpool is up 90% without any new developments. And you think we still are in a bear market?
Its time to start marketing XEL..
The project is good.
Its even being the FIRST decentralized supercomputer.
But without marketing it will not even be useful.
Other project will forge and clone XEL, market it and become a more  successful project.
We have a first mover advantage in this kind of technology, USE IT.
Market it to the right network. Not shilling. Not price wise.
Just market it for adoption. Make people aware of it.
Contact exchangers. All of them..
We dont have a work in progress, or a concept.
We have a working project now.

When Bitcoin went up to 19k most alts dumped completely including XEL, from stable around 9-11k sat to 1.5k sat. If anyone here thinks there are that many sellers left I assume they have minimal experience in crypto-currency markets. It doesn't really make sense or seem likely to me that if Bitcoin continues to drop, the remaining traders from this alt bear market with strong hands that held through the worst drop of XEL since the beginning will sell at ATLs? Some might but I doubt many will. IMO obviously and I'm biased as a long term supporter of XEL, but it does make sense.

Adoption will come with time, in the upcoming years. Elastic is still young and has a truly genius dedicated dev and large enough community to keep it going for the foreseeable future. Short term price swings won't matter in the long run.

Donations is so humanized. Nice work guys. There are several projects claiming to build decentralized supercomputer, such as SONM, Golem and they are very close to do it. Golem is releasing beta soon and SONM will roll out production ready in August. What ELA offers in better way? Thanks

I second this question and would like to ask. Whats next now?
if you haven't already, i would recommend you guys get your hands dirty and try out uploading and mining work packages (simple sample). few of us did it and it works like a swiss clock. next step is that ek will give us more complicated sample to mine and actually earn bounties for submitted shares, for now bounties are set to 0. of course this all is happening on testnet atm. it would also be cool if some devs would join and code even more work packages in ePL so we can do more intensive testing..
so far supercomputer works as promised, there is more work with frontend but backend mechanics is working as intended.
huge respect to ek and coralreefer, amazing work with ePL, xel miner and core client.

Totally agree !
This project will be rocking soon in the future on mainnet. For now we need people to look into the code, for testing, and for just watching it working Smiley

Thanks for all those codes, EK the great, Coralreefer and others!
when will mainnet release? Do you think this coin can moon without good marketing? Team havent funds for it, right?

Plenty of Elastic supporters have already stated they would support funding a marketing team when the time is right. I really don't expect funding to be a problem in the long run, but marketing will only happen when decided it is the correct time by the team.

I hope XEL will return 2k.
Because I will buy as much as possible with that price.
That is a very good price to buy.

2K is still pretty expensive to me, maybe 1K is more appropriate, considering all altcoins are being destroyed and more supply opportunities are the right choice.

Ah yes I completely agree, and we'll clearly have the chance to buy Bitcoin at $71 and Ethereum at $6 when this downtrend is over.

Elastic doesn't meet the removal criteria, so it's unlikely it will be removed, unless Bittrex is going to use a subjective measure like "other compliance issues", or "Poor implementation of use cases or poor reception by community". Tading volume is the most important part, and I believe XEL is still above 2 BTC daily.

See here
https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000474232-Bittrex-Market-Token-Removal-Policy

There are still many other coins that aren't going to be delisted that have much lower trading volume than XEL. There are always coins that boom for a few weeks where the trading volume becomes one of the highest on Bittrex and then returns to "dormant" levels while traders wait for developments until the next cycle, that has happened for XEL a couple of times and it will again in the future. I don't expect Bittrex to delist XEL in the slightest, most coins that have a stable high daily volume have been around for a couple years or have huge community backing and there are many more tokens on the exchange that have a stable lower daily volume than a stable higher daily volume. Of course nothing is straight forward in crypto and there could be new regulations that change things for XEL, but for now I think it is safe.

Does XEL have a telegram channel because lately slack start in leave to communicate.
If there is a telegram line let me know because I want to know the latest updates. thank you

If you wish to have exposure to news/updates as they are released, stay tuned here, in the project slack, and on twitter.

Do you happen to know if we have filled out all the necessary info for Bittrex in order to stay listed there?  If nobody has done it yet, I'll try to help with it.

I would be grateful if there is important information for xel project.
I honestly, if xel delist in bittrex my money will be lost  Angry

i don't understand, why bittrex should delist xel? Is this a real news or is just a supposition? I'm sorry maybe you have just wrote about this

Many are mis-informed and have done little research on the subject, XEL is currently not one of the coins that will be delisted on the 30th.

Why did you buy into a crypto with money you can't afford to lose? Anyway Bittrex won't de-list XEL and keeping all of your funds on an exchange is a risk in itself, many projects go a long time without having considerable volume. Eventually over a period of weeks it is heavily traded and over time gains more interest and volume anyway. The project is still young, just have some patience, XEL hasn't even been listed a year and if you think a year is a long time you must be new here.

Who was the the lucky guy to sell Viacoin for 0.025 BTC?
The volume is incredible over 178 million last 24h.

was there any reason for today's short rise @Viacoin  Huh

Hi there, like the project and had some coins before.
Was disappointed with lack of comunication in social media platforms.
Anyone knows if there is any up coming news exept the site revamp?

I haven't followed the project in a while, but I can advise to join the slack chat, all relevant information can be found there. The developer rarely writes on the forum.

With the amount of trolls, people demanding faster work and other garbage posts, I can see why.

I say let the man do his work in peace on his own terms.

Is there anyway I can score Xel by doing Bounty work ?
I know the project is old I would love to participate to move this project further Smiley

there is no bounty that I am aware of. Right now there is nothing we can do "to move this project further" except giving our support to EK (the Dev) who is taking his time to produce something really special.

I wish him all the best of luck.
He needs all the respect from the community.

He has a lot of respect from his actual community, not the words of a few idiotic trolls who do not represent the XEL community as a whole. He has many people behind him and we all believe he can accomplish what he has set out to do in the upcoming years.
