Re: Does engaging with bitcoins put you at risk?

Every investment needs to take risks. If your mindset is that if you join bitcoin to get rich, then stop because it's not that easy. Success comes from hard work and no successful entrepreneur does not take risks. So all need to take risks to achieve everything you want and be successful

there is an incredible amount of new demand. it's actually fucking annoying as a consumer---like 80% of the people i see in the shops now are normie weekend warrior types who take forever at the counter because they've smoked weed like twice in their life.

Re: BITCOIN / GOLD
by

Bitcoins are like gold and bitcoins are kept by people for investment as gold because bitcoins have properties that are almost gold-like, for example they can be traded and they can be bought and sold.

I think maybe Many altcoins still have room to fall further. Distracting yourself from the carnage is good if you want to HODL. The problem is that many people hold and hold for a long time, then finally give in and sell near the bottom. If that sounds like you, you might want to sell and wait for a real market reversal.

Re: Blockchain future

Blockchain distributed ledger technology is just beginning to reshape the world.  Bitcoin is a huge part of this, the first "killer app" for blockchain.

But blockchain (especially Bitcoin) also enables a larger paradigm-shift, the Decentralization Revolution.  Twitter censoring people?  Decentralize it.  Google manipulating search results?  Let's make them more fair with distributed search systems.  Elections being rigged because of closed-source, hanky-panky technology?  Open-source, distributed ledger, all the machines will achieve consensus over each ballot.  You'll get a receipt with a tx code or QR code to scan and verify your ballot was cast exactly as you specified.  YouTube keeping virtually all of the profits that should be more fairly distributed to the content creators?  Decentralize the platforms of video display

no because nothing about "people" would ever change. they would only use a different tool (bitcoin in this case) and continue doing the same thing that they have been doing before and nothing will ever be solved. not to mention that bitcoin is too small

I think Bitcoin will be the top choice right now when the economy slumps as in other respects bitcoin has helped companies to increase revenue and even increase their production so bitcoin will be a secondary advantage when the economy is deteriorating

Re: When will people feel comfortable using BTC ?

people wiil fell comfortable when people will spend BTC as easily as fiat , not seeing it as an investment opportunity but a better currency for them to use ? Most of my friends that I have currently told about Bitcoin are most intrigued by its rapid rate of growth and not its outstanding features as a currency. They don't really care that it is free from government control , but are more focused on the fact that it has risen xy%

Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies
by

on 16/09/2018, 14:10:24 UTC
The reason for prohibitions is very simple. Transfers in a currency different from the national one, lead to poor economic performance, including GDP (one of the main indicators). This way, it is easier to launder money or transfer funds outside the country. Neither banks nor payment processors will get their interest.
McCall Robinson a manager of Merchant Accounts, believes that most countries prohibit Bitcoin because it cannot be regulated and he said that. "Many governments do not like the very idea that there is another form of currency that they are not able to control. And dont be easy to be honestly for everything

I think for this time when i Looking at the current market, many people are disappointed in the market price, bitcoin prices stomping at the $ 7000 level, altcoin prices are falling deeply. Recent good news, however, shows that the market continues to grow and has great potential in the future. What would you do this time: Buy bitcoin, buy altcoin or another walkout

in 2018 bitcoin was destroyed because the price was so cheap, although there are still many people who have bitcoin because they are waiting for the right price, maybe bitcoin will be very far from most predictions.

Re: Bull run can be surprising?
by

For me we can see the actual movement of the market specially with altcoins, I don't think bull run will surprise everybody when the right time comes. Even it happens at any random days this year, panic holder will not gain patience because they always waited for the right time their coins can be dumped. That's we been experiencing such great challenges right now because of them. So if you think there will be a surprising bull run, please wait and observe the reality of the trend in the marketplace because as price goes up the dumpers will always be there to crash the high value.
