I'll get the explorer for RAIN up and running again.

Also would like to get an overhaul of the project in motion.

Working with a few people through PM on how to best achieve this - if anyone has any good ideas, don't hesitate to shoot me a message.

Also, looking to get a revamped team created. If you have experience in the crypto-sphere, and would like to contribute to a revitalization of RAIN, send me a message with your past experience (specific coin names not required - but rather what you've done for those projects) and how you think RAIN could benefit.

RAIN is still alive and kicking

Cryptopia seems like the best place to move BOAT - although their fee for listing is quite extreme.

If anyone knows of any other exchanges, or would like to help get us listed on Cryptopia, send me a PM and your efforts will be compensated

Should we take a poll?  Move to the RAIN slack for further discussion?

Could use a few experienced developers to lend a hand when the time comes, it would be greatly appreciated (and well compensated)

For now, we should come up with ideas on:

2. Procurement of funds for exchange listing/hardware devices

Austin has helped the project out a lot, but I'm not aware of that link, and it has nothing to do with RAIN.  If people are asking for donations to support this project, it is in no way official, nor has it been run by me, and most likely going to the individuals asking...any requests for funding would be made here first.


This sounds like the most logical course of action to take.  Any recommendations on what changes should be made to rewards (considering circulating supply+current price) and/or procure funds for feature integration?

As painful as it is to say, you hit the nail on the head with this one.  I've always worked solo, accepting the help of others as it was offered (and eternally grateful to those who helped).

Similar situation here - until a few months after releasing the project, more and more people started wanting more, and later down the line a few others offered to lend a hand and be a part of an official 'team'.  Despite the few who stepped up we still lack members capable of fulfilling key roles that would benefit any coin project - mainly, developers/programmers.  I had a hard enough time as it was creating BOAT/RAIN while juggling with real life; even harder once popularity increased.  This is most certainly not a fraud, but rather the result of a lack of foresight.  A hard responsibility for one person to fulfill alone, when there are key aspects of the project better handled by more skilled individuals...those positions should've been filled long ago; then again it's hard to hand over everything to someone who could potentially compromise the entire project (this is the wild west, after all).

I still want this project to succeed, but due to my failures in the first stages of launch & lack of team-building, I'm laying it all out, honestly, to humbly ask where we should go from here.  I've been desperate enough to offer creating coins for funding to get these IoT devices funded.....not much luck though, all responses being 'revive this dead coin' or 'build upon a completely different protocol than advertised'.

There's nothing wrong, with the coin, per se...it was lack of funding that ultimately got in the way of hardware integration (custom devices).  I barely owned any coins when we saw the price spike - so don't assume I was manipulating the markets.


The white paper is finished, for the most part - just lacking technical details due to the lack of acquiring said hardware.

I'm still here, despite what it may seem.  With RAIN having taken a major kick in the ass (for multiple reasons, many of which are due to my own mistakes), I along with a few others have been trying to brainstorm where to go from here.  One suggestion that a few seem to back is a re-start of this coin - completely new chain, possibly new reward mechanism, and most importantly, not losing the premine this time.

There has been more community involvement behind the progess of RAIN, and the last thing I want is loss of support from the community.  The IoT whitepaper is still something we can make happen, but a shoddy start (loss of premine, no starting dev team) and poor management screwed things up big time.

Would love to hear what you all would like to happen now, and apologies in advance for the lack of activity again.

I paste wallet on rock, sent hypetoken sink. If place hard wallet on Styrofoam, hard wallet float. Buoyancy is flawed pls fix.

The other team had agreed to paid for compensation regarding name change, most importantly regarding fund required to save us from sinking ship w/ novaexchange going under...our next saving grace is cryptopia, but they're requiring massive amounts of btc for listing.  As of now, don't take anyone's word as truth unless posted from me...still haven't heard a solid plan from their team, aside from "change your name now cuz we want you to".........
