similar to BTC i suppose.more then 100 years, because there will be halvings every 4 years
Bitcoin supports up to 64 halving. Each halving takes an average of 4 years. The total duration would be 256 years.
Ocvcoin's block time is 5 minutes, not 10 minutes like bitcoin. So the total duration would be 128 years.
This algorithm is very special, I see that there is already had BSC bridge, is OCVCOIN had ROADMAP?

No one else in the world uses this algorithm but us.
We're going the way of Bitcoin. They released v23 4 days ago. We will update soon.
Ocvcoin Core v22.0 for 64bit WINDOWS is ready! (adapted latest Bitcoin Core source code)
If you install this version, you can now uninstall the POW server.

Added extranonce support! You no longer have to enter a different address for each miner you run.
Miner can now remember the address you entered! You can easily select the address you used before before you start mining.
Added Backup RPC Server Support! If you have Ocvcoin Core installed on your computer, miner will automatically configure it and assign it as a backup RPC server. If our public RPC server does not respond, the miner will automatically connect to Ocvcoin Core's RPC server!
Feedback is Important. I haven't been able to test too much.

Good, I install all, run the node, the wallet, the miner... but chain is stuck in block 8968.

I'd also be interested to read more about the mining algorithm. I guess that it's the main conviction of the developers, so this might really help the visitors of this thread recognise the value of the project.
To just hash the block header, we use this instead of sha256d:

I think dev should think about changing coin name in future updates as ocv naming already taken by some token. Better do it Until coin listed in databeses/pools/exchanges.

No mining pool or special mining software yet. You can try to mine with the built-in mining tool.
Firstly, if you haven't created one yet, you should create a wallet for yourself by clicking the "Create a new wallet" button.
Then you must press the "Receive" button and press the "create new receiving address" button on the page that opens.
Click the "Copy Address" button in the newly opened window and close the window.
Open the console pressing CTRL + T
To try to mine one block, type "generatetoaddress 1 TheAddressYouJustCopied" in the command line and enter.
