Thank you Abdussamad and Lucius for the warnings on using a flash drive on other people's computers.  With so much malware out there targeting money / $ / BTC / data, it's important to be extra careful.

Proving once again that we have an excellent and helpful community here, member hosemary explained how I can copy (and save) a QR Code for receiving addresses in Electrum's wallets.  This allows me to just bring a few small pieces of paper in case I want to buy BTC "somewhere" without having to use a cellphone or computer.

I just downloaded Electrum a few days ago.  Version 4.5.8 (latest).  Anyone interested in the rather useful Electrum wallet and its capabilities can check that out (how to copy and save QR Codes) over at the Electrum thread I started earlier today.

I like Electrum for the below reasons:

1)  You can make an Electrum wallet that uses "1xxx" addresses, you can also make an Electrum wallet using "3xxx" (but you have to Google-search to find out how to do it)

2)  Electrum allows "batch payments" (sending BTC to various receivers)

3)  I downloaded the program onto flash drives that I can take with me when I travel (as long as someone will let me use their Windows computer), just in case

4)  And, of course, the fact that you can create QR Codes that you can copy and then print onto paper

Like most of us, I like to explore easy-to-use wallets that have capabilities of interest.  I am also pleased with my Trezor Model T and BitBox02 hardware wallets.  Trezor also allows batch payments, but BitBox has QR Codes that you can copy (and then paste and print) and BitBox also offers "3xxx" addresses.

You should be able to do it from here (although, I'm using an older version so it's possible that somethings might have changed since then):
It has changed.
I just checked that and I couldn't find any option to copy or save the QR code image in request tab. In the newer version, you should go to "Addresses" tab, instead.

To OP:
Go to "Addresses" tab and double click on any of addresses you want. (If you don't see "Addresses" tab, click on "View" at top of the window and then check "Addresses".)
After that, click on the "QR code" button at top right side of the window and you will see the window displayed above in OmegaStarScream's post.

Thank you hosemary, your procedure worked!   Smiley  My version is 4.5.8.

The other work-around I found (unattractive) was to go to one or another of the free make-your-own QR Code sites.  I tested one of them with a throwaway address, and my cellphone camera read it correctly, but still...  I have a lot more confidence in Electrum's own way to make a QR Code.

I like two other things about Electrum:

1)  I have the program on flash drives as a Windows executable (allowing me to just bring that (traveling) assuming someone will let me use their computer)

2)  Electrum allows "batch payments", so I can save a few sats when sending out BTC to several others

Copy and Paste QR codes for Receiving Addresses

I am new to Electrum and I like it so far.  There is a way you can set-up (4.5.Cool a wallet to receive "1" addresses as well as "3".  Which I like.

My question is how can I copy & paste the QR codes for my Receiving Address?  I could not figure it out via the Receive tab nor the window there.  This does not appear to be addressed in the Help documentation either.

Thank you for any suggestions!   Smiley

Bang!

Trump drops tariffs to most of the world to 10% for most countries.  But not China...  BTC and the markets love it.

Will Europe buy all the Chinese stuff if we won't?  Hmm...

Bought a little today.

If there is a trade war, BTC will likely go up given some time.

No trade war, it will likely go up given some time.

Russia is now using BTC in trading with India and China.  So that gives us some liquidity and use of BTC as a currency.

OK mates, so we're pushing and pushing.  At least until BTC reaches £100K.  I couldn't make it to the park today (perhaps tomorrow), so all I've been able to do is push.  And I'm going to keep pushing until I drag that average of mine up (I was sore at first, then on a trip, then a houseguest...).  But, no more excuses!

I too have to spread out my pushup sets, the maximum I can do at once now is about 20, so it takes me various sets sprinkled through the day.

I am enjoying being a part of the team, trying, trying to nudge BTC to $120k.  Well, we hope.  And soon!  I was pleased to reach a new personal high in daily pushups today (114), albeit in several sets.

Pushing the world away...  My body is reacting well, I can't complain, so working to get my average up.  Also had a chance to walk/run to our park nearby, so I added some chin-ups and pull-ups for variety.  Probably better for me to have at least a little variety in my exercise.

Too may weak excuses (sore after my start, trip, sick, guests here), I know, Complete BS.  But today I got back into the swing of things.  Got a long way to go to get my average back up to something "respectable".

OTOH, The Pushup Challenge gives me something else to do rather than sell slow-moving BTC...
