Re: Buy 1 ounce gold. End Giant Bank's $15,000,000,000,000 cartel

Gold is useful if you want a conductor that doesn't tarnish over time. It's price is probably dominated by jewellery/cost of extraction. It's value is most likely sentimental, if not downright mystical.

I personally think it's a bad investment choice. I think Bitcoin (and cryptocurrencies in general) are forcing a dialogue that's making people consider what value is and how it's applied. I don't think Gold will make the cut when we shift paradigms.

Re: How Do You Secure Your profits?

I feel as though either I, or many others, have missed out on the point of the question. Of course we can secure profits by exchanging it into (T)USD(T), but I felt as though the question was more about knowing when to exit a trade.

If that's the case then I suggest the OP relies on: A) extreme readings in some technical indicators, B) extreme readings in shorts or longs *combined* with price movement in a similar direction (rising longs plus rising price means we're at/near a top) and C) an understanding of the landscape one is operating in (knowing that the ETF for today was obviously going to be rejected would have allowed you to secure profits from the pump last night).

If that's not the case then yes, just move your profits to Tether, TrueUSD, NuBits or some other stable-token. If you're withdrawing them in and out of your bank then make sure you have a log of all transactions when it comes to paying taxes on them.

Do you think that forex trading is difficult? how long is it difficult forex trading?

If according to ane itself really true forex trading is indeed difficult. But missed his pips. Not difficult to find profit, not too difficult to add analysis or strategy.

However,

1. It is difficult to stop when Profit / Loss lot
2. It is difficult to exit the market while not excited
3. It is difficult to leave the computer while floating minus
4. Difficult to sell OP errors
5. Difficult to CutLoss
6. It is difficult to stop when the target has been reached
7. It's hard not to be greedy

Well, that guy 7 is hard for a trader hehe

Happy trading guys emoticon-Congratulations

That's a great list friend. You've really hit the nail on the head. So as I can't alter it, let me offer an alternative. The seven steps to becoming a great trader.

1. Knowing you know nothing, but not knowing what you don't know.
2. Naive confidence of thinking you know something.
3. Knowing you knew nothing, but now with the knowledge of what you don't know and, therefore, what to learn.
4. Learning what you don't know.
5. Thinking you know everything.
6. Learning what it is to lose something when you thought you knew everything.
7. Learning that learning never stops.

Re: Politicians fear cryptocurrency because it will stop corruption.

Blockchain's can be used in all manner of ways the at least suppress corruption. Think of it in the case of voting. There's obviously a real agenda amongst some to control or manipulate voting procedures. If votes were transparent, private, immutable and automatically allotted we'd have a far more trustworthy system of voting. That's just one of the simple ways DLT's can be used for good.

Granted, separating state and currency would be a huge victory for freedom, but if we start with more manageable items it's only a matter of time before we move on to bigger things.
