Re: When bitcoin prices rise up the market also will
by

the reason for bitcoin is number one except marketcap capitalization in coinmarketcap because bitcoin is first cryptocurrency, many people trust bitcoin than other cryptocurrency and all cryptocurrency follow bitcoin price, bitcoin is king of cryptocurrency in capitalization and in price movement.
Therefore, alcoin and market dependence on bitcoin is still strong, and this is what causes alcoin prices and markets to rely on bitcoin

Re: How did you recover from your loss in bitcoin investment?
by
Obeng ketok
on 10/05/2018, 17:34:15 UTC
I know that not all the people out there had gain in bitcoin investment and some of them are losing their money and made a wrong decision which is to sell their bitcoin in low price. So their money was being compromised and that is unfortunate event for them to happen. However, i know that there are also smart people out there who are patiently waiting and now gaining in their loss since they had already the confidence on facing the challenges on. As we all know that all investment has its own risk and bitcoin is no exception for that. Somehow these smart people had already recovering their loss. I just want to figure how they manage to recover it from the fall down.
all jobs are at risk, including trade.
I see people who succeed, have suffered losses and they will stand stronger because they have taken lessons from events that have been experienced. they will be more careful in choosing which ones are more potential for success.

Many people predict the bitcoin price in 2018 will rise beyond 2017. I'm not so sure of this.

Re: Will Bitcoin continue to rise?
by
Obeng ketok

The Bitcoin is reaching $10,000 again.

Personally, I think cryptos will be the future, even some countries already banned them, like China and South Korea.

Recently, an news shaped my eyes again, it said that the investment banking powerhouse Goldman Sachs will start trading Bitcoin futures using its own money.
Bitcoin (BTC.X): will this rally sustain?

Do you think bitcoin will continue to increase?
Saturday, May 5 : All eyes are on the markets this week as they consolidate a rally to levels not seen since early March, with Ethereum (ETH) and Bitcoin (BTC) leading the way, as data from Coin360 shows.
Bitcoin (BTC) has been tantalizingly close to breaking the $10,000 threshold, trading at $9,942 to press time, and as high as $9,991 over the 24 hour period.
Crypto commenter Joseph Young has pointed out that looking beyond the global markets’ average, BTC has in fact already broken through $10,000 on Asian markets:
At last $10,000 here we come!

Bitcoin already $10k in South Korea and Hong Kong.

We're not too far away from "I wish i bought bitcoin at $6,000 and Ether at $400" pic.twitter.com/gwX2th2yw8

— Joseph Young (@iamjosephyoung) May 5, 2018
Ethereum (ETH) continues its impressive rally, trading at $823 to press time. The altcoin’s monthly gains have surpassed an astonishing 115 percent. For now at least, the positive response to news of forthcoming scalability improvements for ETH’s platform appears to be eclipsing the impending SEC enquiry into a possible security classification for ETH this coming Monday, May 7.
Total Market Cap is edging closer to half a trillion, now at $470 bln, according to data from Coinmarketcap. A market of this size can no longer be ignored by major institutional players, as Blockchain Capital partner Sencer Bogart remarked Friday on CNBC.

Investment banking giant Goldman Sachs in fact preempted its Wall St competitors earlier this week, with its sudden announcement that it will offer clients Bitcoin trading products, beginning with futures, “within weeks.” The bank claimed it had been “inundated” with client interest.

Among the other top ten coins by market cap, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has seen a hefty 13 percent uptick over the twenty four hour period, up over ten percent against BTC. This notwithstanding the recent furore which saw BTC supporters threaten, and subsequently drop, a lawsuit against BCH-proponent Roger Ver’s site bitcoin.com for allegedly misleading buyers by purposefully blurring the distinction between the two coins.

Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency. These figures are noteworthy, but if the value of a single Bitcoin goes up to $15,000, India’s currency Rupee will pass. Ethereum ranked 17th and Bitcoin Cash ranked 20th. Ripple is located just below 20.
How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?

Many bounty campaign give token..often token bounty has not been paid .. you already exist in the market .. after the price paid it down drastically ... if we hold the token .. later will be able to rise or even added down the price of token bounty
It depends on your beliefs and desires, can you see whether the coins have potential in the future?
I think if coins have potential in the future, you better save.

Having taken advantage of Telegram’s downtime, crypto giveaway scammers offered users free cryptocurrency on behalf of Pavel Durov as an apology and gratitude for support. To do that, they hijacked the Twitter account of a Swedish musical band Club 8 and made it look exactly like Durov’s.

Re: Shall I buy ETH?
by
Obeng ketok
on 30/04/2018, 19:44:21 UTC
The booming price of bitcoin over the last year has created a buzz around cryptocurrency that goes far beyond technology enthusiasts and free market libertarians.

It has also helped draw attention to a number of other virtual currencies looming in its shadow, most notably ethereum.

Ethereum was created in 2013 by a 19-year-old Russian programmer and launched in 2015. For the first two years its price remained below $10. Then, in 2017, it exploded. In the space of 12 months, one unit of the cyptocurrency – called an ether – surged in value to be worth around $1,400 at its peak in January 2018.

While its price has since fallen back down to around $500, many still see it as the most promising of all cryptocurrency platforms, and therefore the one that holds the most potential for future price gains. Some even believe it could one day surpass bitcoin.

“Ethereum has the possibility to overtake the market capitalisation, and thus value, of bitcoin,”  Hubert Olszewski, director of business development at Blockchain Board of Derivatives, tells The Independent. “This is because from the get-go it was a more versatile tool.

This high school in New Jersey is already teaching its students about cryptocurrencies.

https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/07/bitcoin-education-at-high-schools-and-colleges.html
if only to find out about middle school cryptocurrency is also very good, this can be made into entrepreneurial learning for students.
so students can think about how the economy will be in the future.

Re: What is the reason for the current hike in price on Bitcoin?
by
Obeng ketok
on 30/04/2018, 07:01:36 UTC
The rise in bitcoin prices is influenced by the number of bitcoin owners who store their coins, the number of requests for fans, the increasing number of bitcoin enthusiasts and is influenced by falling USD prices in various countries.

There are different reasons why we do things generally in life, Cryptocurrency too is not an exemption. Different people have their reasons for involving in Cryptocurrency as a whole. To me, I first heard about Cryptocurrency in 2016 after my adventures with ponzi schemes. So I was curious to get started and join the big guns in Cryptocurrency world.

Share your views on the reasons that got you involve in Cryptocurrency and let the newbies learn.
Looking at the rapid development of the world of cryptocurrency, this is why I am interested in cryptocurrency. where there is something that can improve the economy especially myself.

promoting Bitcoin is very important let alone promotions outside of this forum. so people know more about bitcoin and there is a possibility for investment.
although this forum is very useful for consultation on bitcoin development and trading, but promotions outside the forum will also be better.

bitcoin is not too late to compete. we can see bitcoin position still above alcoint. we do not need to think about competition but we need to find ways to defend it.
