I like that idea, there's also new and upcoming ICO platform namely menlo.one which also serves that purpose. To eradicate scam and fraud projects from the good ones.

Re: Can an Altcoin below ICO price rise again after falling?
by

Hello, please I want to know if an altcoin which has fallen below the ICO price can rise again and yield profit.
I have up to 3 coins which has fallen below the ICO price and kinda nervous. Should I SELL or HODL?

Of course, it is possible, there are many examples of coins on the market that the price has fallen and rose higher after the ICO. Take a look at the analysis of the dynamics of coins in the market over the past 5 years.

Well that depend on the project and the team behind the coins, if it lacks support because of the weak hands surely it will stumble and fade, that's where investors are being afraid of buying at high price during pre-ico and once it hits exchange it will suddenly go down. BTW, have anyone of you looked into www.menlo.one? They're planning to create a safe ICO marketplace for ICO investors.

He doesn't really need a hardware wallet if OP knows how to protect his/her private key. There are ways to do so, and you don't need a hardware in doing so. As we know, there are lots of ways hackers can penetrate personal information of anyone as long as that person don't have a good security protocol..

what's with all these stupid posts?

how do I mine? what coin to mine?how to buy gpu? how to lambo?

do your own research, do your own work you lazy bastards

Yeah OP, this one is right better to do it your own. BTW, It would help if you start by reading some threads here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0

Oppose at peterparker9191 said, mining is still profitable if your onto alts and new coins in the market and don't just focus into coins which obviously has high difficulty and less profitability.

Re: Countries that accept bitcoin payments

I am looking forward to my country accepting bitcoin as a means of payment, so we, as the first ones to come into bitcoin, can take the lead. And more and more facts tell us that bitcoin is being accepted by more countries. This is an improvement. Bitcoin is rising.

Even if the country accepts cryptocurrency, you'd still have problems finding merchants who accepts this as payment methods. Although its the first step, we will still have a long way to go.

Re: Bitcoin as Store of Value - Not Sustainable

I hear more and more by people that they consider bitcoin more of a store of value (eg, gold replacement) than as a currency, especially as the transaction fees go up. I have also heard many people say that even if bitcoin is only used as a store of value, and not as a currency, it has utility.

But this is not sustainable. Imagine bitcoin prices continue to increase and eventually all the coins are mined. There are not many transfers because people are mainly hoarding. Thus not much transaction fees, which is the only source of income for miners. Hash power reduces dramatically, and so network security deteriorates.

It seems to me that the only solution would be for bitcoins to be perpetually made available (no limit at 21 million).

If your saying increasing the supply is the solution(correct me if I am wrong, that won't be happening. First, the Bitcoin was set to only be 21M and Second, increasing the supply will mean decreasing the value of it in the market which I think all of the investors will not agree with.

You have it backwards. If it is ONLY used as a store of value, and the supply is limited to 21 million, then the value on the market will decrease, possibly going to zero. The only way that bitcoin can survive is to increase their supply. Read the above posts in this thread. What people think is going to happen if they increase the supply is irrelevant. The market wins in the end.

Of course it is always important to consider what people would think if the "VALUE" would decrease because of the increase in supply. This had been proposed long before but the public have not accepted because it will surely undermine the market value of BTC.

Re: Is BitConnect a good investment?

Cryptocurrencies gain their values because they are popular and many people are investing on it. BCC lost its very foundation, trust! Many investors for sure have lost their investment with its downfall. Now with a negative trust rating, I don't think any serious investor is gonna jump into it again. It may be popular for now due to its very low value. All its new investors right now are into the opportunity race as to who gets first anybody's investment.

I heard bitconnect is creating a new ICO project. If they cannot be trusted, which I think they are then handling a new ICO will surely not work. The new ICO project of bitconnect is BCCX.
I can almost guarantee you that the same dweebs will throw money at BCC again, even after they just got outright scammed by them.

Why people are so dumb? They keep believing on things even they have been scammed already? A lot of BCC is still circulating in the market and they are still getting pumped.

i just check old posts in Currency exchange and Found how bitcoin was so cheap at 2011

Example

this User ask for 32$ only to sell 2BTC

2.00 BTC for sale - $32 USD (MTGOX PRICE is 16.68)

Only trusted members with reputation!

So are you think time now is too late  or some one in future will say how price was cheap in 2017 like my post

Shear what you think Huh

Bitcoin is over, buy a good ICO for few cents and hodl for few years. This is how you make money and have a real product!

You really think it that way huh? As you can see what's happening right now, the market is getting rid of those shitty coins and projects. After that the market will rose again retaining the coins which truly has value and bitcoin is their leader.

Yesterday were opportunities, today there are other opportunities. Focus on today. Life is NOW.

Yes, there was Horace that said "carpe diem", "seize the day". We regret about the past and don't see what today can offer to us.

Yeah keep on regretting then you will have nothing. Just focus on what you have today and hope that you will get more something out of it. Don't put yourself in a situation that you will never win.

Some of the media outlets right now are being paid to manipulate the news. They choose what to publish and what is not. They protect only the interest of themselves.

it looks like 2018 will be a bitcoin day anymore as bitcoin will get more popular and become famous thanks to very fast bitcoin rises and provide very much profit for investors.

Yeah, I also believe that 2018 will still be the year of bitcoin. Although bitcoins price is really down right now, I believe the price will still grow more and more likely to hit the 20k mark again.

Crypto are considered both an asset and currency. Although it was created as currency before, it made people earn profit and considered it as asset or investment to have.
