Go to the discord and then realize they are doing a presale of 700k for 10 BTC. 70k for 1 BTC. 70k being the future masternode collateral.

Whitepaper says "There will be a small presale to raise 10 BTC for exchange fees and to fund external PR firms. Following that, there will be no ICO."

It's a NO ICO, well except for the ICO, masternode Pre-Sale coin.

That's a big ole red flag in my book. Staying away from this one.

I can't imagine someone looking at these terrible graphics and that price tag attached and falling for this, but I've been surprised before.

If you search "Dwarf" in the official Bit.Tube discord, you can read some info from the main Admin of their discord. Apparently he purchased one or more, received it, verified that it worked. Then after spending more time with it, realized it wouldn't hash for more than 20-ish minutes. He either inferred or talked to the Dwarf team directly, that they created the miners, they weren't stable, so they were selling these faulty miners to finance their next round of miners that would hopefully work. So it looks like they never intended to share these devices, but simply were selling them to cover their own costs. Why they would send faulty miners at all is beyond me. This is from the main Bit.Tube guy, but take it with a grain of salt.

You are very correct that there is no harm in further establishing identity, and I am all about having multiple confirmations of the information. It just sounded to me that he was saying there was not yet a legitimate confirmation. It has already been well established in this thread that most of the information and activity about these products takes place in the discord. All the facts that I stated have been confirmed via the discord many times. On top of that, this has all been confirmed in the interview that GPUHoarder did.

So please don't take my reply to say that I think the press release is meaningless, I am just expressing that with minimal effort this was easily confirmed. I'm not legendary on these forums, and I'm relatively new to crypto compared to you guys, but I was able to find this information out very easily.

He is a co-founder of Squirrels, LLC. He has publicly stated many times that Squirrelsresearch.com is endorsed and a sister company to Squirrels. This was all public knowledge for quite a while now. So the press release is nice, but this wasn't rocket science.

Yes, probably. However paypal will lock down your perfectly legit account too for a laundry list of reasons. I have been a part of several completely legitimate product sales where this happened when a sudden influx of money happened in said account. It took a long time to resolve, but was indeed resolved, and I received my product and those companies/individuals now continue in business.

Dwarf refunded all the paypal buyers and said they would have to re-pay with crypto or bank transfer. I purchased miners from them via paypal and was refunded and asked to pay with the other methods. Without paypal or credit card protection I declined to continue with my purchase. So looks like all who purchased did so with bank transfer or crypto. Best of luck to all.

Yes, that's plainly obvious. They are thermal shutoffs for a reason. I don't think there is anyone advocating running the Z9 at 125C.

I'm simply sharing the info that was given to me to put anyone at ease who thinks 70C temps are unsafe for the unit.

Hi all, since there was some speculation about the actual temperature maximums for the Z9 mini, I contacted Bitmain and received the following information:

Ambient temperature: 15-35C
PCB Max Temp: 80C
Chip Max Temp: 125C

I was told the PCB and Chip temps are the thermal cutoffs where the unit will shut itself down. Also interesting that their specs on the Z9 mini info page state an operating environment temperature maximum of 40C, but they told me 35C when I contacted.

This is all FWIW, but figured it might be helpful. Also explains why in my environment, when I have the fan set to auto, my Z9 regulates itself to mid 70s C, despite having lower temps possible with a higher fan rpm. Seems 70-80C is perfectly safe for the unit.

I'm not sure about everyone's apprehension with 70C+ temps. With 95F+ ambient temps and at stock speeds, my Z9 runs 73-76C with the fan set to auto. When I move the fan to 100%, the temp drops to 66-68C. When I move the unit up to 750Mhz and set the fan to auto, it runs close, but not completely at 100% with the same 73-76C temps. If I move the fan to 100% at 750Mhz, the temps stabilize around 71-73C.

The specified operating environment for the Z9 Mini is 0-40 ℃ (32-104F). So in an environment that falls within those specifications, the software is trying to keep my Z9 in the low to mid 70s. That tells me this is a fine temperature for the unit.

If you read the discord, you'd read that they are behind on this because of the BCU1525 launch/sales. They will catch up.

The project has a lot of potential and a great team/community. They are taking the slower route and doing things well/right vs rushing things. Excited about this project and it's future.

It's normal. I would only worry about it if you were seeing a huge amount of rejected shares as well.

ya, I was pretty happy to pay my $63 and get my Z9 by friday.

If they are running at full power, then that's right at the max capacity for a 1200w PSU. If they are running at lower wattage, then it should be fine. Have you swapped the PSU out with another 1200w and tried that? I have had rigs with reboot issues because of insufficient PSUs and I've had reboot issues because the PSU was dying.

If the issue isn't the riser, but removing a GPU and it's load from the system makes the rig stable, it sounds like a power issue to me, but of course there are lots of possibilities and variables.

Every time I have had issues like this it was due to using an insufficient PSU. You can get a very inexpsensive 500-750w PSU + a dual PSU connector and give that a shot. Likely will get you running.
