The market is just doing its thing, we’ve had a few teaser pumps but this is not peak Altcoin season. We still have to wait, it will come in Q4 or Q1 2026. We just need to be patient, profit season is getting close.

You are right because the direction does not look clear, you go long it goes short, it is just doing the opposite of what you want it to do.

Market has been good, but seems confused

Honestly, with the little things my eyes have seen in the market for weeks now, I can't pinpoint what I did right with some of the new tokens I bought, both from on-chain or the ones I saw the signal on Twitter, or even the ones that when I opened my exchange and saw trending and did little analysis, then boom, it went my way because I had quite a number of good profits.

How did I know to reach this realization? I saw a tweet from a KOL talking about his or her spot ROI for July and did analysis that 1 did a 10x, 6 did over 3x as of July 18, while his top movers are $C, $ANI, $ICNT, $CROSS, $M, and I at least have traded 5 to 6 coins that he mentioned. It's a good wealth opportunity, although my worry is that I haven't known what to follow for the repetition of these profits, is it the exchange, Twitter or just random post from Bitcointalks here?

Re: 3 methods to win without trading in cryptocurrency
by
Olamidetechie

There are a lot of risky things in cryptocurrency, but if it actually works well for someone, it's going to be good money. For example, check airdrop tokens; some people buy at the pre-market price before it's listed or launched on any CEXs. Sometimes it goes their way when they list at a higher price than the price they bought it, while sometimes they regret taking that decision.

The second one is pre-deposit, which most exchanges like Bitget, Binance, MEXC, and more do in collaboration with project listings, allowing people who participate to have a chance to get a good reward, like sharing $10k worth of Nero tokens as a reward just for depositing it.

I think the third one is public sales, too. Pump.fun did its own, which I participated in, and we almost cried because the coin seemed to be going down and losing money until some tier exchanges announced it and started going up before it was later listed. In all of these, which one would you advise someone to go for without any panic?

All I do with the two is participate in potential airdrops and the second one you mention is because on bitget there are instances where as long as you have a BGB balance that meets their criteria, you can be showered with other airdrops that they have.

Through this, even if you are not trading, you can really earn rewards and I hope this system that they have lasts, but I haven't tried it on others because their criteria are too high, like in mexc, the requirements are too high.

From the experience of someone that have tasted both sides, the second one to me seems like the best option most especially because you are most likely putting your money into rest just to bring your more at the end of the event, although it depends on the volume.

Re: My advice to the next DEVs in cryptocurrency

Honestly sentiment has been negative with this one after the ASC NFT holder got peanut and big chunk of allocation went to launchpools.
You aren't creating buyers and holders with launchpools anyway, you just give out free token to the farmer and they'd dump it to realize their profit.

Always like that, although this project got a good blockchain and fast as well, they need to incentivize community better to retain users.

You are right, but the main purpose of launchpools if i remember is to get access to a project or coin you missed either during the allocation or deposit time, it has helped alot of people most especially if that project rises.

My advice to the next DEXs in cryptocurrency
by
Olamidetechie
on 17/07/2025, 11:21:05 UTC
To future devs, especially on small tokens that are just coming up, if you're really interested in building something great and not a pump and dump scheme, then you need these two things, which I've seen as attributes in some of the big 10 tokens we all celebrate today. The first one is building your holders and just buyers. If people have more interest in what a project could become in the future and see how serious the people behind the project are, they will definitely stay. For a project like Eclipse, which I added recently to my portfolio, I saw serious potential with 650,000 potential token holders and high community activity, with 30K–40K average tweet views and over 580K monthly site visitors. Who won't want that for a long-term project? Most especially when the launchpool is available for everyone , the moment you lock BGB or the token you get to share 1,295,600 of it.
Lastly, make sure you're ready to accept criticism and, if some of those are good, use them to build the vision. With these, you may be building an ecosystem for yourself without knowing. Is there any advice you'd like to add?

Can we call Elon Musk a shiller?
by
Olamidetechie
on 17/07/2025, 06:40:46 UTC
I got to know Elon Musk's tweets affect projects positively or negatively when I bought DOGE some years back. A friend told me to buy it on spot and see how much I'd make, but I don't think Elon is still backing the project again. Two new projects that seem to have Elon's backing now are ANI & RUDI, as he made two big tweets about them, and trust people to move fast, as the value of the two projects increased immediately. Please don't ask me if I bought them because I did and removed my profit immediately. With all these tweets and leave strategy, can we also tag the owner of X a shiller or just a random mistake tweet?

How Elon Musk Grok 4 affected my trade positively
by
Olamidetechie
on 16/07/2025, 23:01:16 UTC
The moment Elon Musk announced the launch of GROK 4, almost anything relating to AI started increasing, and this actually made people start subscribing to the reality that AI is here to stay. It's also a source of joy for people who want to explore it more.
However, I haven't really seen its usefulness in what I do, because I was expecting to see it giving me back-to-back analysis on every trade I screenshot to it. I hope when he launches GROK 5, I can see that or the conclusion is that AI won't be able to help in that aspect.
Now, back to the hype around GROK 4, it really affected my trade positively, as one of my AI-based tokens, $ANI, which launched recently on Bitget Onchain, made me a good amount of money, around +273%. Do you have any advice for me on on-chain projects to go for next, since the hype is down now?

Is BTC to 150K still happening this year?

⭐ Merited by EFS (1)
I've actually been waiting for $BTC to drop at least before it will move up again, but each time I sleep, I just see notifications that $BTC is pumping again. And now it has finally broken the all-time high. My genuine question is: what is the force behind the bullish trend that we're seeing now? Because I've checked the internet, and I haven't seen any news that affects the current waves we're seeing. And also, do you think we can see $150K soon?

Re: Is public data helpful to AI and DeFi
by
Olamidetechie
on 13/07/2025, 17:31:28 UTC
So many buzzwords right there, I'm sure if the average people are reading this they'd have no idea wtf is even the purpose of the project.

This is the problem with so many new projects, they used so many buzzwords that instead of making average people understand, they just blurred the real purpose of the project making people not interested.
Morever, I think there are already plenty of decentralized data infrastructure projects.

You are right. I've been trying to understand the full details to the extent that I've read it twice, but I still don't get it. What I can say is that since it's a DeFi project, it should be solid. Although I'm seeing it for the second time, and the first time I saw it on X, it was getting listed soon on Bitget. I'll try to check if its whitepaper is available because nobody knows what project will boost someone's portfolio.

AI can be useful in making fake news as well as deciphering fake news.

Fake news is what you want to believe it is. AI simply gives us more choices of fake news.

Cool

Lol this is actually true, but i think it is possible that AI own may be reduce and we may actually enjoy it along the line.

Can AI project be useful in curbing fake news?
by
Olamidetechie
on 12/07/2025, 17:05:26 UTC
Every day, we're seeing fake news everywhere, and some people do it with the intention of looking for clicks, while others do it just to cause issues between people. News is as sensitive as it is, and it can cause war among nations or bring peace among them. In every sector, having reliable news matters. Imagine carrying fake news that "Trump said $BTC will no longer be acceptable in the US", almost every coin would feel the impact.

This shows we need to know the kind of news that will be put out there. Humans have made mistakes, so what if we give the job of putting the news out to AI, and they're given certain instructions? Won't it stop the issue of fake news? I've seen a lot of people working towards making this possible, from creating a project like A47 that collects news data and compares trending social media topics before an AI agent crafts short-form humorous content, and this is getting listed soon. With this, I don't think anyone will be able to tamper with the news.

I took $BTC future from $45k and now in $116k

Someone says what will be my advice for this success of holding for long, then I say keep believing in yourself and in Bitcoin, as it can change your life. With just $50, I'm enjoying the sweetness of having believed in it because I had a belief that it could never go back to $20k at all. Now we're here celebrating. How many years do you think I should hold it for? I'm thinking of holding till it reaches $200K. I deserve respect for believing!! We are 2 that have been holding and took the same trade together.

Bitcoin has finally reached its ATH once again, what next should be the question we should be asking ourselves? Is it a great direction to $150k or just another way to create FOMO and made some future guys get wipe out?
In all these high emotions, make sure you do a good research and keep checking news before jumping on a trade.  DYOR will always be great!!

Creators deserve to be rewarded!
by
Olamidetechie
on 04/07/2025, 21:28:40 UTC
For a while now, creators, most especially the ones in this space, have not been getting the recognition they deserve, be it the monetization aspect, and even getting rewarded for their contribution. My friend and I thought, why not just create a unique token for them to hold, which represents an award for their daily contribution? Although I was saying it shouldn't be sellable, but it can continue to increase, probably for pension. I hope this can actually work.

But guess what? I've been doing much research on any related project that merges with my idea. I found many, including Meta Coins, TikTok Coins, and many others, but it seems I'm satisfied with $AINBSC. According to the whitepaper, it is an integrated app marketplace that supports a transparent revenue-sharing model where creators, developers, and contributors are fairly rewarded. Although I'm still doing my research and will keep updating you as it is getting listed soon.

Re: Do AI trading assistants make trading easy?
by
Olamidetechie
on 03/07/2025, 18:02:30 UTC

My question is: how efficient are these AIs really?

The use of AI in trading can be efficient if used intelligently or in other words not always relying on AI completely but using it as a complementary tool for manual analysis because we also certainly understand that behind the advantages shown by AI there must also be disadvantages, if you want to try using it better with a small capital first to reduce unwanted things.
With or without AI, if you trade without intelligence and skills, you will never end up trading efficiently. Now, with AI trading as a bonus, that only add another advantage for us as long as we are smart enough to apply it in our trades, otherwise using AI trading will still be a waste of time if you simply use it without proper knowledge and reliable experience from trading in the market.

AI trading assistants may help us and lessen our struggle from trading, but know that it won’t guarantee successful and profitable trades. The best key still lies within us, our own capabilities and skills, knowledge and experience that would lead to an effective and efficient trade.

This is one of the finest comments I've seen so far on this thread. AI is an advantage, but it will also do someone good not to rely fully on it and combine it with your knowledge in fundamental analysis and news to get a good result from trading. And also concerning the link the OP sent, I also have tested the AI chatbot, GetAgent, that was there, and it did give a great analysis the moment I entered the contract address of each token, at least better than using ChatGPT and others blindly.

DEPIN is the next star boy of blockchain
by
Olamidetechie
on 02/07/2025, 14:44:26 UTC
At least if I'm going to count the number of years I've used in trading and blockchain as a whole, I'd be able to count my full fingers before stopping, and that shows how much experience I've gathered over time, and this has affected my income positively and also helped in making certain decisions.

In those years, I've been able to dive into different ecosystems from DeFi, altcoins, memecoins, AI, and many more, but it seems the DePin ecosystem is the new star boy now, as it has been producing solid projects.
My first reason for saying that is that most of the projects that come out of there, tier-1 exchanges usually like them and want to list them, starting from $TAO on Binance to $ICNT that's about to be listed, getting Bitget support also, same with others.
My second reason is that exchanges create more opportunities around these ecosystem projects when they're getting listed, starting from launchpool to candybomb and many more. I know most DePin lovers here will understand me.

Re: Future of Crypto Trading with AI
by
Olamidetechie
on 02/07/2025, 14:35:46 UTC
The arrival of AI won't really change crypto trading. Neural networks have been used in trading systems since the start of the century, and has much actually changed in 25 years? My answer is no. Smiley

A trading system based on boolean math indicators from last century can easily give you the same returns as the most advanced AI systems out there.

I get both of your points. The OP made a point but missed explaining why AI is useful in trading, even if he had tested it. I won't blame him; it may be out of excitement. Also, regarding your opinions, AI has actually been around for some time, and its usefulness hasn't really influenced crypto trading fully, which I still don't think it will. However, it will be an assistance to traders, doing the searching and gathering the ones with much liquidity. I've tried the  GetAgent the OP mentioned, and it already helped me walk away with an 8% gain as my assistance in trading, which shows that it truly performed its task.

Re: I see free rewards, my brain stops asking questions
by
Olamidetechie
on 29/06/2025, 16:42:57 UTC
But I’ve been rugged enough times to pause first 😂 Anyone else looking at this or planning to farm once it drops? Just tryna figure out if it’s worth prepping some tokens or sitting this one out.
Not everyone knows about the project even when I have to search with the keyword FRAG. It would be nice before you ask for input or opinion at least include a link to their official website or social media. Because that way it is easier to learn about the project you are talking about.
A glance at the staking system basically new altcoins will not survive if there are no stakers who want to participate, whether it is with the lure of rewards with high APR, it remains that users must be realistic about the future of a project.
A Link would be good if someone is introducing a project that is not popular so that others can click directly into the authentic site because there are fake sites on the internet. I am glad that OP is bold enough to say that he has been rug pulled a couple of times and that means that he is not too certain about this $FRAG, it is worthy to note that memecoins are very risky. What I will say is not new in this forum, invest with amount that you can afford to loose because you are basically gambling your funds on memecoins. Any project that promises you huge returns or reward within 2 and 3 days is a potential scam, be careful so you don't get scammed while looking for a get rich quick scheme.

You are definitely right in that aspect, the OP should have posted the link because the rate at which scammers are cloning websites just to mislead people is alarming, most especially when they see that people are interested in a popular coin. And also, the $FRAG he mentioned, this is the second time I am hearing about it since I saw the whitepaper. I might consider putting some money into it when it gets listed on Bitget, MEXC, OKX and others, and if I didn't enter early; I may actually try the launchpool, which is not risky but has a lot of gain.
