Am I the first to notice the nick - E RUN DO OK - as in RUN (and) DO OK.

There were clear issues in the last week just from the high mount of the trollbox... too many people turning up saying they've lost coins.
If they come back online again with no losses I'll eat my hat ... sorry guys but start chalking up another loss.

http://www.bitcominers.com/shop/axon-labs-synapse-terra-1-blade-3-ths/

Looks pretty convincing to be a scam to me .... half an address, phone not answer, selling products that don't exist, payment in bitcoin (or wire on request pfftt), domain registered with crap details (phone # 0000000) only last month - pretty advanced for a one month old business. How do these hosting companies get away with being so lax nowadays!!! These sites are obviously the work of similiar sets of actors....

I own several businesses and I have just had a phone conversation with my standing lawyer.
He says it may likely be a case of necessity of breaking the law the prevent a greater harm.
See here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Necessity if interested.

I take that under advisement - and thats is half the reason I posed the question - my first thought is in the strictest interpretation of the above wouldn't that make the silk road hacking/java callback by the FBI/NSA illegal wouldn't it?

The other half of the question in my mind is what does the common man think?

They have been reported to the hosting company, the DNS registrar, the SSL Provider, The FBI, and more. Namecheap won't take them down briefly.

What are people's thoughts about this?

I do not consider if I hurt a bag thief to stop him that that would be assault. It is the same thing here I believe. The only people I can think who may care are the hosting companies and only from a DOS perspective for other customers.

It is easy to say too hard/unlikely/waste of time - but a crafty approach CAN yield results.

The thing is I have a killer idea which I am well on the way to executing (Phase 3 for the scammers reading this).... I have written some tools in the last 10 days (I write in many languages at a professional level)... would anyone like to participate (Expect to have your authenticity reviewed). I have annoyed them with a few trillion form submissions, ping floods, brute force attacks, tcp syn flood etc for a while and they know I am here.

I have harvested all these wallet addresses by the way.

It is a travesty that these guys are still in the (now locked) wiki miner hardware comparison page.
People have been stung because of the presence of the link in that page.
The admins of the wiki are remiss in their duty to the community by not removing it. They have been under advice for a long time now. Weeks.

If you look at google maps for the site you will find it is divided into many units.
Their supposed address for mailings and deliveries does not include any unit number.
Does not look like any sort of place assembling bitcoin rigs.

Place should not be in the mining hardware comparison table by far.

I am helping a victim of hashblaster.com.
(We have worked out some things about them - if you would like to PM i am happy to have a discussion.)

I agree with the prior poster ... these companies look like known companies. Wikipedia article etc.
How can the wiki page be publicly editable without at least a warning about scammers! I think the community could have done more to prevent this!!
