Re: Why to double-search your crypto wallet details even if you are sure you lost

Thank you — the story is real, and it happens more often than people think. Many do need help after losing their seed phrase or password. But you rarely hear someone say, “I got my 10 BTC recovered.” Most prefer to stay quiet to avoid unwanted attention and the risks that come with it. What people do talk about openly is being scammed. This silence naturally contributes to the bias against recovery services.

This message is simply a reminder: don’t lose hope, and keep searching for your wallet backups.

As I understand, direct advertising is not allowed here. Still, we’d like to become part of this forum community, just as Dave did. He also faced a lot of criticism at first, but over time, he managed to establish himself here.

We recommend contacting Crypto Recovers (cryptorecovers.com). As proof of our legitimacy, here is our recent interview on one of the largest Dutch radio stations, Radio NPO.

https://github.com/blocktrail/wallet-recovery-tool is an outdated version. There should be a newer one to recover your funds.  Recommend you to search it online.

Unfortunately the brand and its site were phased out. https://github.com/blocktrail/wallet-recovery-tool became outdated and you may need to contact Cryptorecovers.com to check out your recovery options. There is a customed software to get access into Btc.com.

You may book a call or visit the office in the Netherlands.

That is definitely a scam. No legitimate crypto recovery will require upfront fees. More over they contacted you first, wich is a second huge red flag.

Actually, it’s not quite like that. Since no recovery service can guarantee a successful recovery, they can’t ask for upfront fees. Legitimate recovery services only get paid after they manage to recover a wallet—typically 20% of the recovered amount or more. Anyone can request recovery services, including from our company, Crypto Recovers.

Sometimes, clients are unwilling to accept the post-recovery 20% fee.

As someone working in a crypto recovery company, I understand why the pricing is the way it is—but I’m curious to hear your thoughts. P.S. I’ll share mine later.

Re: Can Bitcoin eliminate local banks?

Absolutely no, Bitcoin may become a part of the banking system if they find it useful enough. The governments need to control the money flow, so they may integrate Bitcoin into their system or exploit Bitcoin under table. So it is a brilliant idea to stock up with it anyway.

Actually it is a very common story. My point was even if you think you have nothing, there is still a chance to find some pieces of the missing puzzle.

This is a standard story in the crypto recovery business. We have dozens of clients who come to recover their wallets, and they are sure they don’t have the necessary recovery information, but after a good search they find the right clues.

For example, we have been trying to crack the password for, let’s call him Jim’s crypto wallet, for three months. We tested all the possible combinations he provided. We know very well that after about a week of running through crypto wallet passwords, the chances of recovery drop exponentially.

Still, we reached out to Jim again and encouraged him to search for more password hints. And guess what? He found one more password he used a long time ago and it worked with Caps Lock on. It wasn’t anything obvious or close to the previous hints.

If Jim hadn’t kept searching, Crypto Recovers would have missed this successful case. Often, the right information is just waiting to be found on the surface. Without that last bit of info, it wouldn’t have been possible to find the correct combination to access the wallet. Grin

Has it ever happened to you? Huh
