Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 15/09/2019, 14:14:43 UTC
Yes. ICOs are legitimate. It is just a lot of scam projects have shown up these past days, months or year. What we just need is to be careful. We need thorough research in the background of the project to make sure we won't lose money if we are to invest or won't make our hard work useless of we are going to join bounty campaign.

Re: What is happening to new projects?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 14/09/2019, 15:09:47 UTC
It is just normal for projects to fail. Not every project attracts investors, the people running the project failed to market it, the people find the project to be useless, or investors don't want to invest because of fear of being scammed. There are a lot of factors that certainly contribute whether a project will be successful of not.

Re: No good projects from a long time
by

I think there is still some good projects out there. I think they are just buried down deep because scam projects are being participated by more people and they are everywhere. Deep research for different projects and the information is needed to ensure possibilities of promoting or investing in an actual project.

Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 14/09/2019, 14:55:20 UTC
Yes. These scam projects gets more popular rather than real or legitimate projects should be. They somehow give the crypto currency world a bad impression especially to those
new people who will be investing in the future. It is sad that we are seeing posts lately about bounties and projects becoming worse and not about informing us their success with the project of their choice.

With the current situation, and also with a lot of people joining in every bounty, rewards could be very small. The days where ICOs are actually profitable are over and maybe an overall change with bounties is needed to regain the rewards that bounty hunters deserved.

Re: What's with crypto prices.

Even the best solution does not please everyone. It is just normal. Those complaints are just normal. The reason I think is because they are expecting that prices go up. Maybe the last time they invested, they gain profits easily and right now is losing money. They maybe don't understand that the prices of altcoins really vary overtime and there is a little chance that the huge thing in 2017 will happen again.

Re: The importance of the community in a project.

I agree. The community in a project will help in achieving the success of every project. Since they are a lot of people, more minds can be creative in how should the project be done. They can give criticisms, good feedbacks for every action the project is doing. Overall, the community can be a good part of the project if they really care about the project.

Re: Is whitepaper important in the project?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 09/09/2019, 14:28:32 UTC
It is important because it is where the information of the project is in. It tells what the project is trying to do, trying to fix and other information such as their plan on how they will do the project. This is where you can most of the time see if the project is legit or not.

Re: Big prize for 1 participant in a signature campaign?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017

That scenario might be a little too unrealistic. Almost all the bounties you will have been joined by 50 or more people. If somehow, that situation really happened, I think the whole reward should be given to that person since he is the only one who had hard work in that bounty unless the rules changed.

Re: Do You think ICO Investing Is Worse Than Online Gambling
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 08/09/2019, 13:54:02 UTC
I think they are just the same. Both are investments where you have a probability of losing than gaining any profits. ICOs tend to be more of a scam. However, online gambling you can be somehow sure that your money is going to the real businessman rather than some fake people disguising themselves as professional people.

Re: how do you identify a transparent project team?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 08/09/2019, 13:47:06 UTC
If the details about the people involved is scarce, then it has a huge possibility of a scam since they may just be using fake names and using photos of people alongside with it. I think if they are active on the project and includes all their information in their contact info and actually goes into real events of conferences, then that project must be a legitimate one.

Re: Can we stop promoting scam project?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017

I think that is a good idea. However, not all will be aware of those scam projects out there and will continue to join them and in turn these scam projects keep on coming because it is working. Everyone must avoid scam projects which means more research and fact checking with people in this forum but still scams can be so believable that sometimes it is joined by people who know nothing about the project.

Re: Crypto market getting many new people. Is it good or bad for us?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 07/09/2019, 15:36:45 UTC
It will be good since more people will be aware, more people will get to experience and learn the cryptocurrency world. More investors will come in which means more money for businesses running or managing cryptocurrencies. It will be a win for both the business and the consumers.

Re: How do you use crypto?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 07/09/2019, 15:34:17 UTC
I have some practically good amount of crypto, I would probably just like what everyone else will do, hold it until it rises in terms of price and then make a profit out of it. If possible, I would buy things with cryptocurrency if it is available on a certain shop I would buy in.

Re: If Bitcoin price increases suddenly. What will happen?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 04/09/2019, 16:00:15 UTC
I think what will happen is a lot of people will take the opportunity and turn their investment into fiat. They might have an investment from earlier months and is gaining profit. Investors will also want to invest if the price of bitcoin will continue to rise in a longer period. I think it will be somehow good for investors and holders of bitcoin.

I think that will actually happen we will not be alive to see that. We don't know if that prediction will come true. It may be earlier or more later. Most importantly, bitcoin has done so many things to all the people it has served and will continue until it finally runs out.

Re: Why transactions take so much time?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 03/09/2019, 11:16:50 UTC
I think it is because of how many are currently doing transactions in the same time. Because a lot of of transaction needs to be done, it may take some time to get all those transactions to be done. Paying the lowest fees may also be the reason. Higher transactions fees ensures that your transaction will be much more faster than those who pay normal or low fees.

I think it is normal for any bounty campaigns. I think they are strategies to attract more investors or just as what you said gain more funds for the development of their projects.

Re: is buying crypto with fiat a good idea?
by
OliverBuracBTC2017
on 01/09/2019, 15:20:09 UTC
I think you should buy since obviously without any money you can't invest.  There are other ways to invest but you can surely buy crypto with fiat money. You just need to find exchanges that will offer you good deals so that you won't end up buying cryptos with high fees.
