KNC be dammed for keeping tight lips on Neptune and even Jupiters.

Just sold my BFL Single for a nice sum of cash. Compared to the KNC hardware its so loud, hot, and terribly inefficient with power. I haven't done any power tests at the wall but the damned thing just demands a 500W PSU all to itself for 60 GH and the Mercury + upgrade board doing 290GH can use it and then some without being anywhere near as hot. I'll buy another upgrade board or a whole Jupiter over this thing.

How much did you get for the single? 50Gh/s or 60Gh/s?

60GH
What I paid for it - $1.3k without a power supply. I've made that back and then some.

I just think with the skyrocketting difficulty that it won't last much longer unless BTC jumps up. Which, I'm not doubtful of, I just much rather get my hands on another KNC should the opportunity arise even if it costs $3-4k~
Otherwise, I needed the cash now anywho. Im moving to Canada for work and for the first time, Im going to be paying for electricity so it might kill me anyway.

Looks like a promising pool. Any word on when it will go beta? I am #744 in the list and if it goes in order it might be quite some time before i get in.

Beta is coming very soon and the list is being added to much faster than before. Hang in there.

The part that bugs me is that no one is discussing '21e6' around here at all.  The first I heard of it was on Bloomberg news!? That is just strange.  They have massive capital backers.  KNC does have competition I think but it just might not be in their faces.

Makes me wonder about my Neptune's profitability come April.  My rule of 2 is looking bleak.

You're the first I've heard about it from too. *starts looking*

knc never announced when they taped out in mid 2013, so no one actually knows if it took 2 or 3 months.

You're correct they never specifically said when they taped out, but they certainly taped out in June/July. They couldn't have possible taped out earlier unless they started selling units after tape-out which Im not sure I can believe.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=170332.msg2832504#msg2832504

You seem a bit bitter using terms like "delusion". Did KNC do something to you exactly? I'm pissed myself how they really didn't honor pre-existing customers with the whole Neptune preorder thing, but KNC has delivered before so I'm not sure why you don't think they won't deliver again just because they won't announce these things. They completely over-delivered with the first line of products. So even if they are late, I'd expect bonuses.

I think KnC will shipped the Neptunes faster than we think.
They always overdelivered.
Haaaaaaaaaa haha. They haven't even taped out, they are still working on neptune chip design. No way you'll see diddly in Q1.

What is the atmosphere like on planet "SelfDelusion", the biggest planet of them all in the knc thread?

... Didn't it take like 2~ months for them to ship Mecuries, Jupiters, Saturns once they taped out? And that was their first time at it. Why would it be slower now? That would still be in Q1 if it meets.

EDIT: Are Jupiters really going for $15,000 on ebay? What....

Just submitted for my 2nd batch Neptune refund.  So that's one extra spot for an (un)lucky person.
Don't expect a "speedy" refund, some of us have been waiting WEEKS for their refunds to be processed, and I'm sure most of them are in front of you...

phoenix, you are refunding your orders?
been thru this too many times.....    only the two in the 13k batch... keeping all the others!

ah gotcha. sorry didnt see this posted before.
no worries...   except that its taking FOREVER!.... lol

(but still within the 10 "working days")... "KNC working days" hehe

yeah sorry as I said I've been behind so I havent seen anything. Apologies.

That image has been up for 2 weeks, and you're reposting it now with your sellerid in the link? Hm.

2 Weeks ?!?
That's not true.

Some days ago it wasn't there I'm quite sure.
There only was one for their forum.

Check 'last-modified' HTTP header which says:
"Last-Modified   Wed, 08 Jan 2014 15:17:27 GMT"

So whether I'm wrong (by accident) or you had no good intentions when you posted your claim.

I'm really wondering what's wrong with you?.
Where had y'all been all the times when banners and such (with reseller id) have been posted in here??
And why do you care anyways ?
I never cared about all the reseller links, therefore I do not understand your way of thinking...

It' true Smiley Only yesterday the have uploaded this image Wink

Not at all true. Unless they changed the wording or something in it, that "Neptunes are selling quick" has been there for over a week at minimum. That's the last time I bothered to check the site. I'm behind on KNC news, and that was the last piece of Neptune news I heard so thats how I recall that image. Or some form of it.

Because, you're blatantly advertising and trying to cash in on people who read the forum by wrapping your sellerid and linking it in here. So when someone goes to buy one, if they were to, you'd be getting a chip off the shoulder without anyone knowing any better. That's not right at all. Its sneaky. And in the KNC discussion thread no less~

Sorry, Im out of the loop. Why exactly are you looking for refunds? Especially you Pheonix if you don't mind. I thought you were super onboard with Neptune.

Yeah we're still at 84 users because if we open the flood gates just yet, it could wreck havok. The balances are certainly being worked on as well as support for numerous coin.

Don't get me wrong, i'm don't complaining, it's still an alpha, but dou you think thats normal ?

Right, that seems more than wrong. We were planning on doing a second run through the history just in case, but now we'll be sure to. Give us a little bit Smiley

Fixed as of 3AM EST. If the site isnt reporting hashrate, as long as your miner says we're accepting shares, you'll get credit for it once we poke around with the stats.

hi, i requested my payout a couple of days ago, i received the verification email and clicked the link inside. since i read someone talking about hours for the payout to be completed, i would ask if someone else is waiting since days... it was indeed a very tiny amount, 1 mBTC or 2, i don't know if it was possible to cash out such a little amount but i tried anyway...

same I tried to cashout and nothing had been received yet.
