Re: What is the reason why we really need Bitcoin?

We need it since we need cash money. Bitcoin is better because is decentralized and do your thing in your own way.. You don't fear of going into the bank and be waiting for your own money.  Bitcoin can be used without monitoring account  because  you are the owner of the send bitcoin  no need to money transaction  or asking.

Re: Time to buy?

There are lot of manipulation that is going on in the market, we are preparing for the big players, the institutional investors to come into play, and they want to take the prices down first before they invest a lot. So right now is not the best time to sell, the opposite, it's a great time to buy cryptocurrencies right now and enter the market when it's low. Buy LOW and sell HIGH, that's the name of the game. What is a great cryptocurrency to buy right now? EOS for example is one of them. The people who will be patient with the markets and take even more action right now will win.

Re: What Is A Blockchain
by

Blockchain is a continuously growing list of records called blocks, which are linked and secured using cryptography. Each block typically contains a cryptography hash the previous block, a time stamp and transaction data. By design, a blockchain is inherently resistant to modification of the data. It is "an open, distributed ledger that can record transactions between two parties efficiently and in a verifiable and permanent way. Blockchain was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008 for use in the Cryptocurrency Bitcoin as its public transaction ledger. The invention of the blockchain for bitcoin made it the first digital currency to solve the double spending  problem without the need of a trusted authority or central Server. The bitcoin design has been the inspiration for other applications

Re: How to secure bitcoin ?
by
Omosomofa
on 20/05/2018, 23:25:53 UTC

The offline mode of securing bitcoins is called cold storage. Cold storage wallets are not connected to the Internet and are thus less susceptible to hacking. Since accessing a cold storage wallet can be inconvenient, it’s best to split the bitcoins you own. Keep a small amount of bitcoins in an online digital wallet for daily trading needs and keep the rest in cold storage. Cold storage takes the private keys in an offline mode, thus decreasing the chances of theft. The practice of using cold storage is not only popular with individuals but even with cryptocurrency exchanges that deal with huge sums and are often under constant threat by hackers. The popular cold storage methods are paper wallet, sound wallets, storage devices (like a USB drive), and hardware wallets.
Keep your software up to date. A wallet running on non-updated bitcoin software can be a soft target for hackers. The latest version of wallet software will have a better security system in place thereby increasing the safety of your bitcoins. If your software is updated with the latest security fixes and protocol, you may evade a big crisis because of the enhanced security of the wallet. Consistently update your mobile device or computer operating systems and software to make your bitcoins safer.

Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme?

It shows a fundamental lack of ability to do basic research into something you don’t understand, before making any broad assertions about it. When you understand the technology behind Bitcoin and the reason it was invented, you will see that it is actually the total opposite of a Ponzi scheme. Absolutely nothing about Bitcoin is a secret. It is one of the most open technologies in the world. It’s open source, anyone can review the code, anyone can contribute to the code, anyone can run the software voluntarily and participate in the network, and anyone can use the network without permission. The entire history of all Bitcoin transactions is visible to anyone in the world too. Those saying bitcoin ponzi lack knowledge what behind the technology.

Re: Analytics of Bitcoin prices by the end of 2019
by

on 20/05/2018, 23:11:12 UTC
I saw a lot of people predicting a crash with no return when the market started bleeding and no one knew where the bottom is. Once the price stabilized and prices started going back up again the neigh-sayers got silent. Bitcoin has survived even harder times. The price crashes and goes back up all the time because the market is volatile and it is not regulated. People can still get away with scams and that is what keeps the big investors away. I personally see a bright future for BTC because it really solves some serious problems in the world. Money transfer will become more reliable and, if everything goes as planned we won’t even need the banks anymore. With predictions I think it might be up $60,000.

Re: The future of the Bitcoin

Another thing that keeps me optimistic is the fact that the big players are starting to get into crypto. When I say big I mean George Soros big. He even mentioned cryptocurrency and talked about it at Davos. This kind of exposure is what the crypto world needs right now and hopefully this will bring in more and more big investors. They are the ones who hold the money and they are the ones who can help drive the blockchain tech to where it is supposed to be. I see the future bright with never give up hope.

There are some banks that have hatred for bitcoin in their country because they have no customers to keep in save again they save their in bitcoin wallet. But recently I saw a post about bank adopting blockchain technology because of fraud, this new technology will help them very well. Personally I prefer saving in bitcoin because price goes up money double. Banks are not like that interest pay too low. Am also know about bitcoin technology not regretting take decision.

Re: My country banned bitcoin. What I can do ?
by

on 20/05/2018, 22:19:18 UTC
Sorry for the current situation you are facing in your country about bitcoin. This is not good at all but my advice is try to hide them in wallet it might be hardware wallet and keep in a very safe place. What I know for sure is that one day all this laws will be changed and bitcoin will be allow for transaction. Some of the countries have positive about bitcoin or cryptocurrency. So just relax and keep your bitcoin safe. If bitcoin is a good source to earn money to you then you should use VPN and you shouldn't tell anyone about bitcoin. This is a suggestion to you, because, This is only thing you can do now. Think about the situation and decide what to do next. Thanks.

Re: Best wallet for bitcoin?
by

on 20/05/2018, 22:08:44 UTC
For me I am very sure that hardware wallet is the best. But the problem is that some people can not afford it because is very costly in my country. But since am using Blockchain.info am also Sure is good to also store bitcoin..that was the first wallet I know about when I started cryptocurrency business. What you can do is to set the security very strong and you can do in that, whenever you want to transfer bitcoin to someone you have to received a code that will allow you to do the transfer before the bitcoin going. Another recommended wallet is luno wallet I have been using it also very safe. Some people not like it but for me am good with kind security it has.

Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies?
by

on 16/05/2018, 20:21:53 UTC
There are so many reason why Bitcoin is different from other currencies. Some of the reason is that Bitcoin is digital and decentralized With Bitcoin people get the liberty to exchange value without intermediaries which translate to greater control of funds and lower fees. It’s faster, cheaper, more secure and immutable. Cash is controlled by banks while bitcoin has no owners. Bitcoin is Ease of online shopping ,As we already know, Bitcoin can do online shopping. It’s like an e-wallet which can be created blockchain technology to store, track and spend digital money. Bitcoin is less volatile than cash, Bitcoin has a global acceptance and is less volatile than cash / local currency. Due to this feature, it becomes easier to conduct transactions across boundaries and online.

Re: Bitcoin Now and Forever
by

Bitcoin has reacted to the start of Consensus 2018 with the drastic increasing by $500; all the top coins have returned to green positions. The bulls will strongly defend the support zone between $7,900 to $8,400, as if it cracks we would risk falling to $7,000 (but that is not likely to happen as sentiments among the community are mostly positive). If the support zone holds, the cryptocurrency №1  will stay range bound between $7,900-$10,000. So strongly believed Bitcoin will continue to stay.

There is one article I read one day, it was saying Bitcoin will end up unexpectedly. But for me those information I hardly believe but anything can happen no body can predict exact what can happen in future. From what I have been seeing it will be very hard to just end up like that because, some countries are now supporting cryptocurrency and even Banks planning to make use of Blockchain technology so.. It will not be so easy to just put an end to cryptocurrency because more people are getting involve everyday. But with some news in the space.. Making the price drop those negative post drop the price of Bitcoin and altcoin price down. But nobody can predict the future.
