Board Mining (Altcoins)
Re: PhoenixMiner 5.7b: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
by

The  new  version  is  finally  ready.  You  can  download  PhoenixMiner  5.8a  from  here:

PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Windows.zip Github
PhoenixMiner_5.8a_Linux.tar.gz Github

Changes in version 5.8a :
  • LHR disable mode -lhrdis <n>  1 - yes (default), 0 - no
  • Added lock core clock
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RTX 3060/3080/3090 cards
  • Implemented new "turbo" kernels (-clkernel 3) for AMD Polaris cards that can work with the current DAG sizes over 4 GB. Note that -clkernel 3 uses double the VRAM and will
provide slightly faster hashrate with slightly higher power consumption. You can use the -rvram command-line parameter to specify how much VRAM to be left unused
  • Increased the maximum supported DAG epoch to 600 (i.e. until about Sep 2023)
  • Implemented full hardware control for AMD RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux. Note that with these cards under Linux you need to specify relative core voltage: e.g. -
cclock -50 will set the core voltage to be 50 mV under the default value
  • Added ROCr kernels for Vega, Radeon VII and Navi cards. With these kernels you will be able to run these cards with Linux drivers 20.45 and later but the performance will
be lower than with the older PAL drivers and kernels. We recommend using AMD Linux driver 20.30 for all cards except RX6900/6800/6700
  • Fixed an issue causing crashing with some RX6900/6800/6700 cards under Linux (there is no need to run these cards with -clkernel 0 anymore)
  • Added support for AMD Windows drivers up to 21.8.1. Note that Radeon VII cards will not work with drivers 21.6.1 or higher - you need to use older drivers for proper
    operation of these cards
  • Added support for AMD Linux drivers up to 21.20 (use older drivers for Vega or Radeon VII cards as they will not work with 21.20). Note that the latest 21.30 drivers are
not supported (and the initial testing shows that even the older Polars cards are not working properly with them, so avoid 21.30 for now)
  • Numerous other fixes and small improvements

Please let us know if you have any problems or questions related to PhoenixMiner 5.8a

Re: Why trading btc will make you more money than altcoins?
by

because altcoin are less risk, and the return some time is greater than bitcoin, if you buy very cheap, actually this is the reason, you cna buy very cheap a very large amount, where with bitcoin you can not

if trading alts i recommend the minimum to put in is 0.5 btc if you want to make decent profits
playing with position sizes of 0.02btc or 0.1btc will not make you good profits.

With btc you can trade with a small position of 0.02btc and just use max leverage if you wanted for example just to
Maximize profits.

Btc doesn't have to double in value for you to double your profits like in alts.

With btc you can go long or short and still make money. You can use 20x leverage with 1 btc and make 0.05 btc per dollar that bitcoin rises or decreases.

With alts you can only buy at the bottom and wait for the price to increase. If the price goes down you can't make money. A lot of scam coins to watch out for which make it hard to make money. A lot of people making the same coin and redesigning it.

Just my two cents, what do you guys think?

1. How are the trading fees there?

2. Can you keep your trades open for as long as you want without penalty?

3. What's the max leverage you can use?

how much are the fee there? and never heard of that exchange they could be scammers
- Trade Open Fee:       0.45 % (of Position Size)
- Trade Close Fee:       0.45 % (of Position Size)
- Daily Funding Fee:    0.30 % (of Position Size)

How long did you have the position open?

For a trade of 10 BTC, the open fee is .045 BTC, the close fee is 0.045 BTC and the daily fee is 0.03 BTC.

If you bought 10 btc at $325 and sold it at $360, then your profit before fees is $350 or 0.972 BTC. If you held the position for 26 days, then total daily fee would be 0.78 BTC. Subtract the 0.09 BTC opening and closing fees and your profit is 0.102 BTC

I only had the position open for one day so I'm still confused as to why my profit was so little. Look at my trade below.

Position Size
1.0800

Trade Fees
0.00972

Daily Fees
0.00000 [ per 24h]

Stop Loss
$29.0000

Deposit
0.12960000

Open Price
$325.34

Opened At
2015-11-25

Position Profit
0.10511736

Leverage
10:1

Close Price
$360.42

Closed At
2015-11-26

Sell Limit
$35.0000

13 BTC via Paypal? Lol. Yeah, this will end well! Really. It will. This is guy is trusted. I'm super cereal.

I don't know what's so hard to believe, I live in the US, 95% of the sites are banned because of regulations so I can't purchase a decent amount of btc. That is why I am rewarding whoever does the trade with me because it's been so difficult.
