For a small extra per month, you could rent out an offshore dedicated server and install OpenVPN, or the like.
At least that will give you the extra protection knowing that you are in full control of the server and there is less risk of the provider monitoring/logging what you are doing.

How would someone with no internet 'skills' do this on Windows?

This is talking about setting up a remote machine offshore, not changing your machine.

So I 'offshore' or route my connection through this remote machine? Any links for accomplishing this?

You need a bit of Linux command line experience to accomplish this, and on Windows/mac (not used it in years) you may need to install extra utilities.

*Rent (paying monthly) for a dedicated server. Like these French ones.
*Set up OpenVPN (Google 'OpenVPN linux tutorial')
*Use a VPN client on your PC/phone/etc which then routes all of your traffic to the server, and from there it goes out 'to the internet'

Remove Negative Feedback
Have an unprompted scammer feedback? Most likely it is from our team.

We can remove negative feedback (delete it) for just $99.99.

This is lifetime. You will never get another negative feedback from us.

OP uses hacked accounts. I can provide this same service using legitimate accounts from reputable stand-up people in the Bitcoin community who have left to do other things and have sold their account. Most have signed legally binding NDA's that prevent them by law from telling anyone that the account has changed owners.

PM me if interested.

I can also provide financing if you need to purchase a large amount of feedback but don't have the money straight away.

I would say this thread embodies today's forum. Open to the public means every single two bit scammer will try and set up camp there.

How dare you call me a scammer, you spread lies for MPEX, the biggest Bitcoin ponzi scheme who's office is just a house in romania.

I run a much more reputable business than you, and you even dare to call me a scammer...
A reputable business? Please, shut the fuck up.

You're doing nothing other than making it easier for scammers to gain victims.

Just though I'd let those who are interested know that FeralHosting are now accepting Bitcoin payments again.

I used this company about 2 years ago and they are quite something.

Got my tracking number for my order, it was in my spam folder for what ever reason. Smiley

Shoot me a PM with your order details and I can give you a much lower shipping rate. Still working out kinks with the international shipping calculations Wink

My shipping to the UK was roughly $12, which seems quite cheap, so if it came to any more let me know and I'll quite happily send you the rest.

IPcheck escrow.ms and ssbtoday please. I think you'll find a strange overlap
They are not the same IP, however the both come from India: one a residential and one a wireless/mobile. First two people I've come across on here who are from India, and both in the same thread. Also, ssbtoday claims his location is USA (profile).

[No longer needed] Loan of 0.3BTC for approx. 1hr. Pay back 0.5BTC.
by
OpenYourEyes
on 03/06/2013, 23:10:10 UTC
Edit: All sorted now.

I'm in need of 0.3BTC loan for approximately 1 hour to put towards funding my Namecheap account so I can renew my hosting (it could wait the hour, but I am rather impatient & would rather not risk my hosting being suspended temporarily as it expires very shortly).

I left my laptop bag which contained a USB stick needed to access my cold storage funds in my brothers car, he is at work and will be back shortly.

I have done a few trades with users on here (listed here), they all have my personal information (name, full address, banking information), and as of a few hours ago I have 11BTC on loan to Projects.
My Bitcoin related website is in my sig, and if required I can PM you my verified localbitcoins and BitMit account which have had trades in excess of 100BTC.

Hopefully that is enough to show I have no bad intentions. If there is more I can do, please let me know.

If you are able to help, please reply below.
Thanks.

When they are offered so cheap and, in a recent BBC report, these headphones are now the number one most common counterfeited item, it's only right to be cautious.

If you're willing to ship internationally (UK tracked delivery) & get an escrow all set up and ready I'll go for it (I'll pay fees). Or, if you are willing to ship first and I'll pay upon receipt of the items, I'll pay the full amount you were originally asking for, and of course the shipping and handling fees.

I've done numerous trades with users on here who have my full personal information (name, address, bank account number), one of whom being Projects, who is probably the most respected trader here, and I currently have a 11BTC ($1,346) on loan to him.
They are listed on my trust page whom I have sent feedback to: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=70404, I can also PM you my verified BitMit and localbitcoins profile information which have over 50+ combined trades for over 100BTC; I'm certainly not in the business of earning a scammer tag for a pair of headphones.

His paypal email address was actually a .edu address ( Toni_Nichols@mail.msj.edu ) which I sent the payment to.

Wow, what a dumb ass to pull of a scam and use his educational email address.

If that is indeed his, which I'd suspect it is if he receiving funds from PayPal, contact his college:  College of Mount St. Joseph

I doubt the college admin and IT technicians will be happy about him using their services (email & perhaps internet/computers) to commit fraud.
They'll no doubt have full access to his email account along with backups of any deleted emails.

I think I'll pass for now. It's hard to tell the authenticity of them without the box.

If BigBitz grabs some and all goes well I might take a pair, even with the higher price.

Make sure you use escrow. OPs account has laid dormant for more than 8 months and now pops up with a sell.
Could be a hacked/sold forum account or just a straight scam.

Edit: OP has defaulted on a loan: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=105711.msg1166230#msg1166230
Whilst requesting a loan he/she was PM'ing users trying to sell BTC.

One to avoid I'd say.

No. Smiley

Err the scams will come in time when these accounts randomly ask for loans, sells etc.

Well then those accounts will have scammed, but that doesn't make this account a scammer as this account hasn't scammed anyone. I would, undoubtedly, be extraordinarily extremely surprised if one of our accounts did scam someone however.
It makes you the scammer for either committing the scams yourself or selling to those whos only wish is to do so.

But, I would love to hear your excuse as to why you actually want to buy these accounts?
