Hi The Team OptionBlitz!
As I understand it, for the project, the team will be "anonymous" but the main sponsor can be the representative right? and will we have partnerships/sponsors on the runway? Is it already there or will it be coming? Thanks & best regards

We will have partnerships and sponsors, the team is private but will be disclosed to major investors/partners and we will be running events where you can meet us in person too. If I didnt answer your question properly please let me know

Security Token Exploits discussion
by
Optionblitz
on 30/07/2020, 00:04:46 UTC
Hi everyone I’m currently brain storming different techniques to avoid securities regulation and/or KYC. Has anyone looked up TRON’s new feature? Private smart contracts? What if an STO was issued then “shielded” with zkSNARKS so as to enable transfer of the underlying value of the token and not trigger a transfer visible on the blockchain to the KYC manager. Like a security token derivative? Also another interesting concept is synthetic securitization, whereby lenders provide a guarantee basically for the loans/assets. I’m curious if a structure where investors are providing a “guarantee” to the clients of for example a casino by contributing to the bankroll to cover pay outs and being compensated with interest or payments on the net revenue. This is like transferring credit risk, I’m thinking if we can combine the rules of crypto lending which has no KYC and STOs to create a new structure which can satisfy the crypto community.

So would this activity be covered by KYC/AML regulation? Guaranteeing platform losses/honouring pay out obligations and being compensated with a percentage of net revenue?

Re: What's your take about Tron (TRX)

I think TRON should be regarded as a platform for dapps more than a token for investment, when it grows and developers start supporting it more new investment opportunities will also develop and attract investment that way but I just see TRX as a token for exchanging between other tokens and interacting with with the blockchain.

Perpetual Futures Contracts/Swaps and Spread betting
by

Would anyone consider a DEX/decentralised version of futures/spread betting? Anyone have any experience with these products? Crypto derivative market is huge but decentralised solutions are scarce mainly due to low liquidity. Of the few that exist, all are hedged off-chain by a prime broker rendering the concept almost redundant? Aside from less supervision like kyc and aml regs what kind of things can a completely onchain solution really deliver over a responsible and regulated centralised one? I don’t know if no kyc is really that critical to legit investors trading with big amounts? Does anyone see any possibilities that can be enabled onchain which can’t be offchain?

Well no one has this type of gambling on the TRON network, binary options trading and related games, crypto sports book betting style games. It’s all gambling related to crypto prices essentially hence the critical element being trustless price data feed with the decentralised oracle.

We are creating a financial betting dapp for TRON which is completely decentralised but in order to support non-Dapp browser users/wallets we will have a version which is semi-centralised in that you can play in your browser with altcoins too rather than the native TRC20 coin. How do you feel about this? Would it lose its appeal due to the extra functionality or is it a cool thing to offer?

Is this really issue with so many coin swap protocols out there though? Say a TRON dapp is TRC20 based is it really a problem to get TRON currency for example? Some sites forsake a bit of their decentralisation in order to support multi-crypto, do you frown on dapps which offer a more centralised gaming experience to cater for different holders?

Re: TRON 4.0: Boom or Bust?

I think you all care about Justin Sun too much when in actual fact he is very good at what he does, TRON is leading the way by becoming the de facto platform for the most dynamic dapps on any blockchain, the faster block times low tx prices makes TRON the most attractive platform available to entrepreneurs including myself, Ethereum founder doesn’t seem as business savvy and I think TRON will expand faster into user groups that haven’t explored crypto yet. I think the next generation of crypto enthusiasts will have more in common with Justin Suns vision for blockchain technology than anyone else, decentralisation is not a political/ideological campaign any more it’s just a technical feature and the merits of the best platforms will be decided by technical features. If it’s not critical to the use case of a dapp to be decentralised then it’s not important, I think a lot of dapps on Ethereum are “just because we can” dapps whereas TRON dapps really leverage the technology hence all the gambling and games focussed operations.

Whether or not crypto is determined to be money or not it is still personal property which has value and can therefore be subject to taxation, anything which produces a benefit can theoretically be taxed. The important distinction after a government does deem it taxable is if crypto is a currency or a commodity as there are different rules, store of value, fungibility, unit of account and so on

MetaTrader software bridge

Anyone here able to program a software bridge like ECN between MetaTrader with crypto as base currency with a blockchain platform? Interested to understand the integration process, would be using offchain liquidity provider to hedge positions opened on-chain.BTC
