What was supposed to happen once the countdown has expired? Did they plan to release the MVP by that time? Maybe there was some kind of unexpected delay. However, they should post an official statement asap.
I thought the game started at the end of the countdown. But as I see now, nothing has happened, you can only look at the rank you are currently on. But maybe the top 100 will see something else, because they seem to have to be achieved, and I'm just 137
I'm still trying to figure it out myself, they need to do a bit better it think explaining things with the site i've been saying that from the beginning the idea is very solid but they have to work on their information delivery as i think it could do with some improvements in my personal view
A demo video will do just fine, they should put that into consideration.

You must keep in mind that we are launching a peer to peer gambling game. The smart contracts manage funds, not us as an organization, so you can assume trust in the smart contracts, in short you are trusting each other and not a casino.
We are the sponsor, we are a collective of crypto and gambling experts. We have worked hard over the last 6 months to develop this game and we and confident it will have a huge impact in the space.

Do you guys have reserve funds for the project? In the case a winning might be bigger than money held in the Orbit wallet, do you have second options of sourcing funds?
It is all peer-to-peer so we do not hold ETH in our wallet.

I still don't know exactly what to think about Orbit. But the chance to win some ETH for free, I cannot resist.
Yeah, 10 ETH is not a small reward. But I want to know more about this how to gain this rewards..10 eth is really a high reward. Winning this can change someone's life. Is this winning a one time offer or every person betting can be able to win the eth.
And do not forget that if the bull market comes then 10 eth will be worth much more than now. You can even buy a car after the bullrun.
Not quite lambo money but it is a very good winnings, how often will they do the 'bets/raffles' is it one every hour? Or one per day? I can't see confirmation of this on the Orbit website.
Every few mins new rings will be opened up and available to join.
So you could be small and often, or wait for the rings with the odds you want to see.

This seems to be one of those projects where you have to ask in chat to really get the infromation, but i agree the 100x thing seems a bit cheesy and it's a sad point that thats the kind of stuff groups have to do to get attention in this industry which i personally also dislike, i rather a more informative and upfront professional site.

Does anyone know if Orbit has to get a gambling licence for their business model? And if they need one, do they already have one / are in the process of getting one?
The games will be managed through smart contracts, this will be a community project as fees will go back into the site.

Well i do have to agree on the fact that ICOs are Pretty much dead! None of them got to achieve the ICO plan really and i'm loosing faith in them!

Everyone has the chance to win 100x if they want. They could also choose to join a ring with different odds, and they might get 10x or 2x for winning.
Yes, it is gambling, but it is peer to peer, so you are playing against others, so the house is not the winner, a player always wins.
You will actually be able to join the first ring we run for 0, we will enter you in for 0.1 ETH and give you the chance to win 100x. This costs you nothing and it is our way of promoting the site here.

Hey, yea we know it is a big claim, but it is true, here's why: you can add 0.1 ETH to a game and get back 10 ETH which is 100x. It is really that simple.

About asking same question. Thanks for the information. Gambling on Blockchain would be great. Smart contract from Blockchain would ensure the transactions are secure and transparent. Which are the basis in traditional casino. Data on payouts, results and winning are usually hidden plus frauds by popular casinos. Now you can spend your CryptoCurrency and get more crypto in return.
Yes exactly, our smart contracts are managing all the transactions, we are creating a website to make the game fun and engaging.
Traditional casinos are not trusted, and we are lucky to have the blockchain as a solution for transparency.

Hey, yea we know it is a big claim, but it is true, here's why: you can add 0.1 ETH to a game and get back 10 ETH which is 100x. It is really that simple.

Wow this is so cool.. Like really... I never thought of the possibility of joining a gambling network on the blockchain which is so attractive as this right now.. I'll be exploring much more in coming days 
Really want more information on the project to see what it's about gonna spend some time reading about it i've always said though that gambling seems like the perfect target for blockchain due to its immutablity and it's distributed architecture it really lends itself to being able to handle something as important and widespread as gambling

Peer to peer gambling? I have lost of questions in my mind now. how it's going to work, what type of gambling it will be, etc. Where I can find more info about this project.
Orbit is built on the Ethereum Blockchain.
Orbit is a peer-to-peer game of luck. Gamblers add ETH to buy a section of a ring. Rings have a limit of ETH which needs to be added for the ring to spin. When the limit is met, the ring spins and chooses a winner.
An example: A 10 ETH ring is created. Someone buys 50% of the ring for 5 ETH. Another person or group of people must buy the next 5 ETH of the ring for it to spin. When this happens the ring spins, and will land on a winner. The winner is paid out 10ETH (- a ~0.5% fee for the site) through the smart contract.

Hey, we are slowly releasing information on our project. In our discord we are directly answering questions, sharing screenshots and we will soon share the smart contracts.
This will be a phenomenal project which will send waves through the community. No one has successfully launched a peer-to-peer betting site with no limits. We will be the first, and we are keen for you to be a part of this.
